Uchiha Ryūsuke, a young Shinobi of high expectations and a soul drifting towards an irresolute future. Tossed into the world with only life expectancies, and not the elation that crafted an affirmative disposition for any normal child. Nonetheless, it was his destiny, right? To live and serve his village without a regard to himself or his own well-being. He was meant to endure only to become a instrument for the acts of treachery masked behind the title of honor and war. The true realization of any Shinobi was simple; to live for his village, and to die for his village. This young individual wasn’t an exemption.
Birthed to the affluent Uchiha household of Koi and Hōgaku, the child was given to the world on a warm spring evening. A splendid day it was, the birth of Ryūsuke, a young boy with a head of vivid red and eyes, a incandescent hue of green; he was quite the idiosyncrasy within his clan. Nevertheless, the lighthearted Koi thought nothing more of it then the auspicious faith that she presumed destined her child for great things. For the first few years, the family was rather normal; they spent the days together, and the nights in each other’s comfort. A complete household that also inhabited an elder brother, Uchiha Reisuke.
As time continued to escape away into the permanent cycle of existence, the seemingly perfect family diverged. Hōgaku had continued his campaign as a Shinobi, which called for his immediate attention due to his high status within the village. Reisuke, growing into quite the prodigious Shinobi himself began his ascendance to prominence, leaving Ryūsuke in the care of his mother, Koi.
From a young age, the red-haired Uchiha wasn’t regarded as any genius or outstanding member by Clan standards; nonetheless, this didn’t displace his skill to sub-par. He didn’t feel the need to be exceptional, and liked himself just the way he was. Koi admired such a trait in her son, who wasn’t even of age to understand the importance of strength needed to survive in the times in which he was unfortunately born in. He did however host one particular mannerism that would eventually make up for his lack of incomparable natural proficiency within the elite clan; his strength of mind.
Entering the academy at five upon the strict encouragement of his father and brother, Ryūsuke was forced into the initiation of new life. During his days, he studied at the Academy, and his evenings, he was harshly trained by Hōgaku. Severe physical discipline was routine, and every time he didn’t meet Hōgaku’s expectation, his body would become the reflection of his failure. Koi had taken witness to the domestic abuse of her son, but was powerless to save him. Her husband wasn’t the man she married, and turned to the influence of alcohol to relieve his mind of any failures in his life. Ryūsuke was one of those failures.
Reisuke was an exceptional Shinobi, having already attained Chūnin status and mastered the Katon techniques in which signified manhood in the Uchiha. Hōgaku was known for his talents; Koi had even been recognized as a proficient Medical Shinobi; why was Ryūsuke the only exception to their tree of excellence? A family built on the concept of perfectionism, it was difficult for his father to accept him as himself. Training became harder, studying was forced into his mind as a necessity; his social life ruined. Ryūsuke would become what his father wanted, if he accepted it or not.
One evening, Koi returned home early from the hospital, in which she witnessed Ryūsuke executing his training perfectly. She continued to watch her son perform task after task in great detail. Noting his development, and comparing it to when he first began his studies, to present. For the bulk of his training, Ryūsuke was oblivious to her presence until she suddenly interrupted. Turning to face her, he revealed his body, battered and bruised, evident marks left behind by the stringent father. Saddened, she couldn’t contain her emotions and pulled him into a warm embrace. They simply stood there, no words spoken; none were needed. She apologized for Hōgaku’s actions, but Ryūsuke submissively passed it off, saying he didn’t mind. Koi could distinguish his lies from his truths, but didn’t want to ruin his determination. In refutation to his own depression, he referred to it as a mental barricade.
The day of graduation had come, and Ryūsuke finished in the top percentile of his class. He became a billboard for determination and willingness, showing that natural talent didn’t indicate supremacy over those who actually worked. This milestone passed relieved some of the cruelty passed down by his father, but brought an entirely new model of pain to his young reality. Instantly promoted to the rank of Chūnin, Ryūsuke was equipped with private training under his now, Jōnin brother, prepping him for war.
Taken away from his home as requested by his father, Reisuke pulled Ryūsuke into the mountains for training. There, the two homed in on the three essential arts of Shinobi combat. During which, and the incident which caused the manifestation still unknown, the young Uchiha awoken his Sharingan. Reisuke described the event as a life-threaten trial, one in which his younger brother had conceded. Returning home, the young Uchiha was reunited with his mother. There reunion was short-lived however, since a month later, he was drafted into the Shinobi War. Having missed out on the start due to his private training, expectations were high-standing. Hōgaku wished for optimal results, where as Koi only wished for the return of her son.
His assistance in Konoha’s victory had materialized as Ryūsuke was assigned to feebly known Ambush squad consisting of two other Chūnin, and an incompetent Jōnin. While on a recon mission to attack a nearby camp site, the group was ironically ensnared. Bombarded with a number of explosive traps and a whirlwind of effective Ninjutsu, the small Ambush squadron were cornered. Force to improvise, Ryūsuke was inadvertently designated as leader while the Jōnin was unconscious. Not having such a high position of power and responsibility, the Uchiha was confused on what exactly to do. This vacillation almost cost the squad their lives. Nonetheless, a rather timely flashback of his mother, Koi inspired Ryūsuke. His muse elevated, and his confidence and determination peaked.
Utilizing all he had at his disposal, along with the combined effort of his remaining members, Ryūsuke was not only able to successfully fend against the onslaught, but compelled the second Tomoe of his Sharingan to reveal itself. Here, his uncanny instinct and strength of willpower prevailed, and as such, the Uchiha was able to continue on in life.
Ryūsuke managed to survive the remainder of the Great Shinobi War, but didn’t allow his accomplishments to trail blaze. Giving all credit to his squad, and almost completely dismissing the possibility of himself being the prime asset for their success, Ryūsuke fell into the shadows; regarded as just an ordinary Shinobi. He didn’t want the fame that came with his recognition, and only those who witnessed his facts of heroism would know the truth. This brought concern to Koi, for she knew exactly how Hōgaku would react to his son’s non-existent reputation. Ryūsuke continued to accept the scolding and mistreatment for it built his resilience and reminded him to never become like his father.
The War had finally reached its conclusion, and the reconstruction of the Hidden Leaf would gradually begin. Ryūsuke, now at the punctual age of fifteen continues his days establishing his strength. A simple Uchiha with no expected prodigious background, who through his own perseverance and willpower found his own purpose. A healthy Resident of Konohagakure, his name became a household topic of discussion. Naturally charming and appealing to the opposite sex, he became the desire of many. But as his nature commanded, all accomplishments of strength were concealed; thus he was known as a sub-par Uchiha. He didn’t mind, though. So long as he continued to live life how he wanted. His journey however, was just beginning.

Ryūsuke is a deferential young man, holding on dear to the morals in which his mother, Koi had instilled into him from a young age despite his upbringing. Punctual and well-mannered, you won’t catch this Uchiha speaking ill of anyone, regardless of how he actually feels towards them. Courteous and thoughtful to others, he doesn’t stray for doing the more nominal things that mean more in the long run to others. Most call him overly nice, or too respectful, and mistake this trait for a weakness. Nonetheless, it’s quite the opposite, as it’s an unconscious façade he displays to others which forbids intrusion into his mind. A defense mechanism to keep him mentally above his opposition.
A odd trait that the Uchiha tends to follow if cognizant of it or not is that Ryūsuke never showcases his full potential, or takes credit for anything that could potentially raise his recognition. Not one for the extra attention, Ryūsuke would much rather to keep his accomplishments to himself; after all, they were only a testament to what he did; he doesn’t need the verification from others to feel accomplished. Despite this act of isolation in such an area, he’s quite the gregarious person. Not shy to say a few words, even to strangers, the Uchiha is open to conversation.
Unlike most who hail from his Clan, Ryūsuke is in no such way branded a child prodigy. His skill and current level of intelligence (Which is quite high in comparison to others) derives from his own unparalleled strength of mind and willingness to try new things. He wasn’t given anything at birth that signified immediate achievements. He worked for everything he has today, which instilled a greater since of appreciation into the Uchiha’s heart. As such, Ryūsuke takes little to nothing for granted. With an open mind to pretty much anything, it’s a allows better comprehension of logical and abstract ideas and practices alike; making it much easier for him to learn things.
A rational thinker when needed, Ryūsuke is quite the tactician. Able to conceive a number of possible outcomes to any given events, he can pick through his analysis and apply the best ending for the specified situation. Nimble-minded, he’s a quick thinker, and sometimes more instructive, a peculiarity trained from his childhood to present time. This is key for him in combat when faced with task that require a more clever approach.
