“Did I ever tell you that I was born running?”
“Oh? Running from what?”
“The demons that live inside these eyes.”Tenshi Jinnosuke
25 years of age
Male
Konohagakure no Sato
Jounin Rank – ANBU
Doton Chakra Nature
RELATIONS
- Tenshi clan relatives.
PHYSICHAL DESCRIPTION
He is beautiful. He is handsome. Tenshi Jinnosuke is, by every means imaginable, the picture perfect model of the Tenshi clan. Raven hair, fair tone and strong build, his body was made to serve Konohagakure and was built for the athletic nature f males. However, if there is but one blemish on his body, it is his eyes. Those crimson orbs that bring ill omens and disgust from his very own family onto him. These eyes, serving as his most noticeable feature, set him apart from the rest of his clan and make him identifiable in a crowd rather easily.
Despite this, however, he does not allow his dress to fail him. Casually and around the village he will wear a fine taloured suit, made for beauty and usefulness. When on missions he will wear the black pants and knee high sandals of the ANBU, as well as a strong white vest. Underneath that vest is a black, skin tight shirt, the sleeves closed off at the wrist. It is from there his gloves take over and cover his hands, and white guards protect his arms. A black cloak covers all of this, with a thick hood and his ANBU’s mask covering his face.
MENTALITY
The Black Sheep
Jinnosuke is the black sheep of the Tenshi clan due to his eye color and the behavior that stems from said trait. As such, he has been looked down upon, treated harshly, scolded and all but rejected by his family, leading his personality to truly match the stereotype that goes to the crimson eyes he wears. As such Jinnosuke is a volatile and cruel man, and carries a rash and rather aggressive swagger to his steps. This is thinly veiled by a combination of politeness and biting sarcasm, both of which serve as the main traits of his personality.
HISTORY
Demon Amongst Angels
Tenshi Jinnosuke was born under an ominous star in a painful birthing process for his mother, Tenshi Kagome. She died during the passage, the last words on her breath being the name of the baby boy that emerged—Jinnosuke. Grieving at the loss of his wife, Tenshi Inu took it upon him to place the clan’s seal onto the child and was shocked by what was produced. There, on the back of the newborn’s hand was the clan seal painted in a color that resembled the chilled blood in his veins.
It was from that day on Inu, and the rest of the Tenshi clan, abhorred Jinnosuke and treated him with the cruelty that he always believed Kagome would have been disgusted at.
As such, his childhood was not a happy one. Rarely did his father pay attention to him, and much of his clan avoided him like the plague. Jinnosuke’s days would be spent either locked up in his room or forced outside of the house by Inu, who didn’t want to believe that his beautiful wife could have given birth to such a fiend. Despite his childhood innocence, despite the fact that he was no older than eight years old, Jinnosuke was seen as a vile and depraved demon amongst the angels of the Tenshi.
Because of this, when he entered into the academy, the effects on his mind from such treatment had already began to form. Jinnosuke had been raised to think that the entire world was against him, and as a result he often verbally attacked and abused those around him. He soon gained a reputation for being hostile towards others in the academy, and this in turn caused the Tenshi’s eyes to become even sourer towards him.
When Jinnosuke graduated he was put into a cell of kids who did not like them. He returned the favor ten-fold and his sensei was worried by this. Constantly the team would break out into argument during missions and Jinnosuke himself was constantly scolded by his sensei. However the teacher knew the cause of the problems and often tried to appeal to the Tenshi clan to no avail.
It was because of the lackluster teamwork of Team Sixteen that they failed the Chuunin exams not once, not twice, but thrice in a row. Eventually Jinnosuke began to mature, however, and as he did he decided to drown himself out in training and in work. During his teenage years he would master the Tenshi’s trademark Taijutsu style and expand on it, as well as learn how to use various medical techniques in crisis situations. With this new maturity and evolving skill set, Team Sixteen would pass the Chuunin exams with amazing skill and tact.
Upon breaking up and going their own ways, Jinnosuke would be prompted to join the Iryonin, however he would decline. Being rebellious and looked down upon his clan forced Jinnosuke to want to break apart from them, to want to show them that, even if his eyes were red, that he could be worthy of being the clan leader. And so he remained a Chuunin and trained and became stronger until, eventually, he was prompted to become an ANBU.
This he gladly accepted, and over the course of the next few years Jinnosuke would learn the ways of the ANBU and become a skillful assassin.
It was then the war broke out, and the moment it did Jinnosuke was plugged into the frontlines, and beyond, as an ANBU agent. He was promoted to Jounin so that he could be allowed to do more dangerous missions, and with skill and vigor he completed them. In the shadows he operated, gathering intelligence and assassinating those whom he was commissioned too. It was then the war ended, though in the roots of Konohagakure, Jinnosuke was still serving just as hard as he ever had. Such was the nature of the Black Sheep.
The Daimyo of Hi no Kuni, almost directly after the end of the war, began to rebuild his twelve guardians out of the need to protect himself from possible assassinations and coops. As such he sent out a veteran member of the Twelve Guardians to Hi no Kuni where Tenshi Jinnosuke was discovered. Carrying the Tenshi blood line made him a powerful and valuable healer, which is needed on any team, however his knowledge on the human body and his affinity towards battle made him something a bit more unique. Carrying a hearty mixture of resolve, determination, battle skill and medical knowledge, Jinnosuke was acknowledged as being a highly valuable candidate of any team.
As a result he was interviewed and, despite minor aggressive personality flaws, he was appraised for being a cooperative and skilled team member. When this was combined with his skill assessment and his rank of ANBU, he was eagerly accepted into the Guardians to serve for his year. Currently he prepares to set off to the Daimyo’s estate and is only awaiting replacement personal.
