NAME: Uchiha, Kaizo. AGE: Thirteen. GENDER: Male. VILLAGE: Konohagakure no Satou. RANK: Genin. NATURE MANIPULATION:
[katon.] RELATIONS: Uchiha Clan (Relatives) Uchiha Uruchi (Mother) Uchiha Yashiro (Father) Uchiha Chiho (SISTER)
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
EQUIPMENT & JUTSU: Not the most powerful guy out there.
MENTALITY: The first and foremost part of Kaizo’s personality is that he despises violence, in all forms. No matter how much the person deserves it, Kaizo cannot bring himself to kill someone unless he releases that restraint in his personality, and it takes a lot to do that to him in the first place. Whenever this part of Kaizo’s personality is abandoned, he releases his mind from three things; emotion, pain, and physical limits. Due to the fact his mind works this way, it’s not that his body doesn’t go through pain, it’s just that temporarily his brain is shutting off the pain receptors until after the ‘adrenaline’ has worn off, where the pain will hit Kaizo like a wave that had simply been held back. Kaizo thinks nothing of people who lower themselves to killing, and it’s rather ironic that for someone in this horrific ninja world, he was tossed into the position of a Genin. Kaizo himself despises the fact that the ninja world runs on slaughtering others, but says he can ignore that part of him if only for one cause; Chiho.
When you talk about family ties, Kaizo always seemed to be distant from his mother and father, Chiho being the one whom was normally praised and thought to be the next head of the family. Chiho was the only one that he ever paid attention to, and was the full receiver of her love. Normally, Kaizo is flustered or annoyed by her, especially when she attempts to perv on him or flaunts her rank in his face. Still, despite these minor details, Kaizo still loves her to death, and it was the false news of her death that caused him to both activate his Sharingan and go against his former ‘master.’ Kaizo will usually address Chiho with numerous honorifics, ranging from ‘Onee-san’ and ‘Nee-san’, to the more casual and less honorable ‘aneki.’ The only reason Kaizo brings himself to fight or rise himself in the ranks and help the village, is so that he can become more powerful and therefore lift Chiho from the burden of the world of ninja. As well, there have been times where Kaizo will call Chiho by her old name, Karin, due to Kaizo still seeing his sister as the girl she used to be, though Kaizo only ever uses her old name when he becomes serious.
There is a deep part in Kaizo’s subconscious that was only discovered when Kaizo had heard the news of Chiho’s “death.” This side only comes out when Kaizo is under extreme mental stress, or his anger or depression has reached a certain point, and is instantly triggered when someone he cares about dies in front of him. This side acts much like the above stated, though is much colder. Kaizo will act in very quick, strategic patterns with his special weapon and when speaking to his opponents will only make quick, curt comments to them. His words cut like daggers when in this mood, though the only thing Kaizo talks about when this part of his mind is explored is either how he is going to kill his opponents, or that he is going to kill them. This is a double edged sword in the sense that this allows the opponents to know what Kaizo is going to do, though Kaizo has the mental capacity to be able to change his strategy midway through a fight.
Kaizo’s self confidence is low when it comes to Ninjusu or Genjutsu, due to the fact that he was never able to perform either one right. Kaizo’s specialties lie in Taijutsu, evident in the way that he seems to have mastered if not become advanced in the usage of Shunshin. As such, there are times when Chiho’s teasing can really get to him, and this is normally when he decides to either pout or call Chiho by her old name. Despite all of these combined traits, Kaizo usually decided to never use his Sharingan, nor the forbidden jutsu that Kaizo had been taught by his former master, whom had offered to Kaizo’s parents to train him due to the fact that he was one of the few Genin chosen to participate in the war.
BIOGRAPHY: Kaizo was born to Uruchi and Yashiro, a full year after Chiho had been born and as the younger child, wasn’t treated with as much care or respect. Showing his peaceful, pacifistic ways early in life, Yashiro had all but ignored him in favor of Uruchi, until the day came where Kaizo had showed his proficiency in Taijutsu. That was when Yashiro had grown interested enough to the point where he took both Kaizo and Chiho under his wing. Kaizo only agreed to train with the two because he didn’t have much of a choice, and because Kaizo actually enjoyed the time that he spent with his sister. Ninjutsu and Genjutsu escaped his skills, and in the academy he barely passed through at all, relying on the weak skills he had and mainly his Taijutsu techniques. Kaizo didn’t show any ambition, any promise in the ninja world, deciding that all that bigger picture stuff could be left to his father and the other ninja of the world. The only thing that he cared about was the protection and life of his sister, whom he loved and still loves to this day with all his heart.
A bit angered by his pacifistic nature, Yashiro tried his hardest to get Kaizo to follow the path that his sister was intending, while at the same time Uruchi tried to push Kaizo out of the house more and tried to pull Chiho in more. Hearing in a slight eavesdrop on what Yashiro had been forced to do to Chiho, Kaizo lost any and all connection with his parents, deciding that he was no son of theirs and that the only relative that Kaizo had left was his sister, Chiho. What angered him more was the fact that Chiho had dropped her birth name in favor of Chiho, and Kaizo was no idiot. While he wasn’t very skilled when it came to the physical aspect of the ninja world, Kaizo made sure to train his mind, and where he lacks in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, he makes up for in Taijutsu and mental prowess, favoring strategies over anything else. Coming out of the academy as a Genin, Kaizo found out about Chiho being sent out into war and when a mysterious Jounin by the name of Ikari came to the Uchiha household requesting to take Kaizo under his wing, he was shipped off to spend his years with Ikari... on the battlefield.
Being separated from his sister tore Kaizo, but Ikari continued to remind Kaizo that the quicker he trained and learned all he had to know from him, the quicker he could meet up with his sister. Training in Taijutsu techniques while at the same time taking care of war related issues, Kaizo didn't seem to be making a steady enough improvement. Noticing this Ikari, with a very questionable look on his face, decided he was going to let Kaizo see the battlefield for what it really was. Thus, Kaizo was thrust along with Ikari onto the front lines, Ikari handing Kaizo the knife weapon that he would still use to this day.
On the battlefield, Kaizo seemed frail and emotionally unable to fight, though he seemed to hold his ground with his knife and shunshin abilities (albeit only being able to move using it, not actually use it when faced off against an enemy). As the last year of the war came around, Ikari came to Kaizo with terrible news; Ikari lied to Kaizo in an attempt to get his spirit up, telling him that Chiho had died. Enraged, emotionally unstable, and hurt, Kaizo’s Sharingan awakened for the second time, much like Chiho had activated hers a second time on the battlefield. The first time Kaizo had activated his Sharingan had been during a moment Ikari nearly killed him. The thought of not being able to protect his sister and the concept of death tore his mind and caused him to undergo mental strain, which is why it activated the first time. With Sharingan in hand, along with the speed Kaizo had due to intense Taijutsu training here and there, Kaizo zipped around the battlefield as nothing more than a ruthless killer, slaughtering Konohagakure’s enemies. However, Kaizo was able to keep his sanity in-tact to the point where he could understand simple speech. Ikari, in a moment of betrayal, told Kaizo that his sister hadn’t actually died, and that he was nothing but a killer. It was at this point that Ikari gave Kaizo the large scar on his chest that he has today, and nearly killed him. Whilst his mind shut down the pain from the blow, Kaizo fought against Ikari on equal footing. With Sharingan, a mastery of his knife weapon, and expert Taijutsu speed, Kaizo was a powerhouse. However, Ikari escaped, and Kaizo fainted on the battlefield, sure that he was going to die.
Awakening in his own bed, Kaizo noticed the large scar on his chest, and found out later in training that three things had happened. First, his speed had decreased drastically. Second, he had become skilled in using his Sharingan. Third, he had become anemic, and his body had suffered for it. Frequently, Kaizo now passes out from his anemia attacks, though due to his pacifistic nature he is able to live his life as normally as possible. Kaizo is still able to fight however, though he limits himself to using the knife he has and his now average speed if it’s a simple spar or something. The only time he would activate his Sharingan is if he is fighting to protect Chiho, or it is a life and death situation. The adrenaline the Sharingan gives Kaizo allow him to overcome his anemia’s effects only temporarily, and whenever what is being used is deactivated, Kaizo passes out, and won’t wake up for a total of a week.
Due to this injury, Kaizo has currently been studying up on something his father had briefly spoken about once or twice; the Hachimon. While he has the knowledge of it, currently Kaizo's frail body doesn't seem to be able to do anything with it, and attempts have only caused Kaizo to pass out for the aforementioned time. The glasses Kaizo now wears were specifically crafted by his father, only in the sense that they won’t break like normal glass, allowing Kaizo to toss his glasses of whenever he needs to. As well, a scroll that Kaizo was given by his father is always kept in his pocket, so that whenever he loses his glasses, he is able to summon them to him with a bit of blood much like a weapon would be summoned. All in all, Kaizo just tries to live his life like any normal Uchiha, while looking out for the most important aspect of his life; his sister. [/blockquote]
