PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Koto is the average height of a man his age, with a very slender build, showing that he rarely engages in physical combat. His hair is black and kept short, only a few inches long, typically unkempt and naturally somewhat spiked. His eyes too are a very dark brown, appearing almost black themselves. Koto has handsome, young features upon very pale skin, hardly ever letting himself be exposed to the sun, mostly due to his choice of apparel. He wears loose fitting pants and typical shinobi footwear, all black in color, rarely ever wearing a shirt. However, he almost never takes off the baggy black cloak that covers his entire body, feet and hands included, with a hood that could easily hide his face in its shadow, this too being pitch black in color.
MENTALITY: Koto is a man that many would deem unsuitable for life outside of white padded walls the moment they meet him. He is very open about his ideals and beliefs, which are the exact opposite of what most rational and sane individuals would care to hear about. He loves seeing others suffer, being a sadist on every imaginable level, enjoying hurting others by any means as one of his favorite hobbies. His other major hobby, as is no surprise coming from an Aburame, is that of bugs. However, while most of his clansmen care for bugs, becoming angered when someone so much as steps on one, Koto loves them for their potential in the shinobi world and nothing more. He only cares if his bugs die because it would take that much longer to kill the one who did it. Far more importantly, in his eyes, is their ability to kill on a level that is impossible for most shinobi, as well as the many gifts and talents that nature alone provides them with. He collects them not for interest in bugs, but for potential in evolution of the creatures.
When it comes to other people, Koto seems even more out of place and confused, seeming to simultaneously have the same and opposite feelings for everyone he meets. He only cares about himself in the long run, so he usually tends to not make any relationships, business or otherwise, unless it would profit him in one way or another. He thinks his clan is foolish for being so small, peaceful and quiet when they are capable of controlling the one force that represents over ninety percent of all living things on the planet. However, he does not seem to hold any grudge against them other than dishing out remarks of foolishness and cowardice toward them on the rare occasion that they meet. He hates those that look down on his work or try to stop him, believing that what he does is no different then what anyone else does to further their goals in life, no matter what those goals may be. On the off chance that he does get along with an individual, he will often throw jokes or minor insults around as if to test their patience with him, though the ones that stick around are rewarded with a loyal and fierce ally. Overall, Koto is a hilariously sarcastic individual, while being cruel and sadistic to match, not often being viewed as anything but one of the two.
BIOGRAPHY: Twenty-nine years ago in the large village of Konohagakure no Sato, a child was born into the quiet Aburame clan. His body was given forth to the kikaichuu, with which he would form a symbiotic relationship, exchanging his chakra for their lives. They would feed from him, guaranteeing forever that he would be unable to utilize ninjutsu, though also granting him a powerful and unique living weapon the likes of which few shinobi would truly understand. Born to two average shinobi, he was given the name Konchuu, and though he was part of a small and mysterious clan, it was doubtful that his life would be anything spectacular. As an infant, he found amusement in the bugs, playing with the little things that crawled forth from within his body, an attraction that would remain his entire life. Though as he grew older, the childish playing of the innocent creatures would begin to vanish slowly over time. At the age of five Konchuu was enrolled in the Ninja Academy so that he could train as a ninja like that of his parents and most members of his clan, as well as learn the very basic fundamentals of chakra, although the lesson for him would be nearly useless in comparison to the rest of his class. It was during this time that the first shinobi war began, one that took the lives of his parents with it, a key piece that drove his mildly unstable mind further down the path of insanity, giving up all hope or desire for friendship. Nine long years went by, not once making any friends that remained with the title for more than a week, his demand for power and sadistic nature turning kids away faster than tofu around fat kids.
At the end of the nine years, Konchuu finally passed the exams needed to graduate from the class, becoming an official ninja with the newly appointed title of Genin. One week later he would join the three that would from that point on be his teammates, their four-man-cell Genin squad. Konchuu made efforts to not get attached, knowing that such things were little more than weakness in the shinobi world as he so claimed, though it was truly because he was a complete sociopath and had no desire to interact with other people. He did not need them to talk to, as he had thousands of little creatures that he could talk to, even if they lacked the brain power to form complete sentences or even have desires other than feeding and mating. Sex inside of their infinite food supply? Kikai must have made the Akimichi so jealous. As much as he didn't like to admit it, their sensei made learning very easy, teaching them how to utilize chakra in a way as to allow them to walk up trees, across water, and much more. When he would give lessons on utilizing elemental ninjutsu, however, Konchuu would typically sit out and occupy himself with his bugs, knowing that he lacked the chakra capacity to reliably perform such techniques. Though they all knew that it was not a weakness, rather a different method of fighting than most. He became the recon and ranged fighter of the team and just the same as nearly all other Aburame before him, he excelled greatly at the task. He would fulfill this role gladly and without question each and every time they went on a mission, scouting out the enemy and attacking from afar while his team took care of the support and close quarters combat.
Three years after joining the team, they had completed a total of twenty-three missions, nearly three times the amount needed to be entered into the Chunin examinations. Their sensei wanted to be entirely certain that they were ready and properly trained, which he did a phenomenal job of doing. The three seemed to work in perfect unison during the first and second portions of the exams, knowing full well that they all had to succeed in order to pass. When it came time for the final event, they all fought with as much effort as was in their bodies, each succeeded, that was except for Konchuu, who was beaten by a shinobi using various elemental techniques that killed his bugs faster than he could fight back. However, due to his striving endeavor, as well as the success of his team as a whole, he too was promoted to the rank of Chunin. Now at the age of seventeen and a newly accredited Chunin, Konchuu began training by himself, seeming to entirely abandon the bonds of his team as he no longer needed them to climb the ranks of power as a shinobi. He would spent nearly eighteen hours a day in the forests within and around the village, studying insects to a level that would seem insane even for an Aburame. He would accept as many missions as possible, though usually only ones that would most likely guarantee interaction with enemies, allowing him to practice his skills, subdue his appetite for making others suffer and even experimenting on them before he killed them. This would continue for many years, being highly discrete and quiet about his actions and intentions, letting nobody see what was truly going on. Shortly after he turned twenty-four, he was promoted to the rank of Jounin for his many mission accomplishments.
Five years ago, the second shinobi war begin, and Konchuu immediately joined the efforts in the battle between nations as soon as it began. Going along with the Konoha forces as they battled opposing villages, he attempted to kill as many as possible, not to protect the village, but for his own sick amusement and pleasure. However, he was wise enough to stay as far back behind the rest of his allied shinobi whilst attacking, ensuring the greatest chances of his own survival. This plan worked, and due to the chaos of war and his long-ranged method of attack being the same as many others, his cowardice intentions were never so much as guessed. During the war, only a few months before it ended, amidst the death and anarchy sweltered by bloodshed and cries of pain, Konchuu decided to take the opportunity to truly test that which he had been working on for so many years. Singling out one target which he had managed to draw away from the eyes of any others, he managed to capture the man in a net of kikai. However, rather than forcing instant death upon the poor man, he ordered his bugs to stop feeding, leaving him drained, but not dead.
It was during this cruel game of toying with life that a man from another village strolled close enough to alert Konchuu. Just as he was about to try to kill the man, he began speaking to him rather than preparing for combat. He just stared at the scene, critiquing Konchuu on the harsh and unreliable method of subjugation, suggesting that he instead use sedatives rather than trying to teeter a man between death and the ability to fight back. The man pulled out a syringe and offered his help against the unfortunate soul who lay helpless and in pain. Both impressed and amused by the stranger, Konchuu's psychotic glare of violence shifted into a humored grin. This display of chemical knowledge was followed by a rather sickening conversation about the goals of two mad men, the hobbies of two sadists, and a mutual deal struck between two mentally erratic shinobi who demanded personal gain at the cost of the lives of others. With shaking of hands they hunt down enemy shinobi one by one, singling them out and sedating them, bringing them to the verge of death, and piling them together. Two of the men were killed, one via complete draining of chakra, and the other to a kunai in the head, whom also had his insides cleared out to make room for the bugs, exactly like that of an Aburame. Their faces were disfigured beyond recognition, and they had the forehead protectors of both men placed properly on them, making it look as if the two had killed each other in war. The place was then set ablaze near where a major battle had taken place and corpses riddled the area. There would be no concerns or guesses when it came to death in a war zone.
Both men fled the scene together, becoming Nukenin who defected from their village through faking their deaths at the most opportune time. Knowing that their names would be in records at their villages, they entirely abandoned their own names, which they never told each other for personal security reasons, and took on a new persona. The other man would call himself Naien, while Konchuu would now refer to himself as Koto, and nothing more. They make a living hunting down strangers who get too close, be it shinobi or civilian, taking them into their own possession. The two have only worked beside one another for a few months now, but their twisted minds seem to sync perfectly, making for a disturbing and inhumane combination to those who fall prey to their goals.
