[atrb=style, width: 350px;] Mango is the son of Yorumon Banana, a highly respected Jōnin and former Head Ninja of Kumogakure prior to his death. Being the son of such a respected shinobi, it was expected that Mango would too be prodigious and carry on his father's legacy the moment he was able to take up arms. However, Mango didn't possess the natural affinity his father had and was therefore seen as a disappointment within the village, especially the Yorumon clan. With the stigma surrounding his failure to launch, Mango lived a lonely childhood. His classmates in the academy would torture him daily due to his lack of skill. Mango, at an early age, was forced to choose if he would live with the scorn of the village due to his lack of prodigious skill or if he would work twice as hard to attain the strength expected of him. Mature for his age, despite his lack of natural ability, Mango decided that he would work harder to become a strong shinobi and defy the odds against him. His training began to show results quickly and he quickly was promoted up the ranks to Genin at twelve and Chūnin by fourteen. He was thought to have an amazing virility to him and his undying will to succeed was seen as a benefit to the village. Now garnering a good amount of respect from his comrades, Mango was eventually selected to become an ANBU by the new Raikage, D, just a few months after his ascension to the position and is therefore highly loyal to him despite his clan's opinions. YORUMON MANGO Seen in the hardships Mango has overcome, it can be said that he is incredibly driven and a hard worker. He sets goals and follows through on attaining them immediately. He has the utmost respect for those who gain strength by similar means to him and is somewhat off-put by those who are naturally gifted with their talents. Aside from these core attributes, Mango is a joyous youth and is commonly always happy. He enjoys spreading joy to others, however, can come off very strong in this regard. He is commonly seen as annoying by others in this sense and can therefore be avoided by others. Mango enjoys training more than anything else, though he has a particular soft spot for calligraphy and history. His favorite drink is oolong tea and his favorite food is any sort of sushi. |
