This cacophonous orchestra of war had been dragged on for far, far too long. Kado only stood there, his hands in his pockets now as he watched the events.
The Bijuudama was shunted away, causing a grand explosion some miles away.
Omoi went to hell and back as he fought the Rokubi with his bare hands.
Saoru, the Raikage, unleashed a torrential explosion that wiped out much of the front lines and left the Rokubi standing amidst the burning fumes of the burning forest around it.
Kado then closed his eyes and adjusted his radio, so that the microphone would be directly before his lips.
“Sensors, any word?”
“We have confirmed that no threats have come with the Bijuu as of now! It is our only adversary!”
“Good, now then platoons T through Z, take positions. Get a good distance around the beast and make sure not to be in blast range for Raikage-Sama’s next attack. Initiate invasion repelling tactic seven!”
“Hai!”
With that the movements of one hundred and forty men burst throughout the forest, securing a very wide perimeter around the Rokubi. Then, blasting through the air was an equal amount of fuma shuriken, each large blade looking like a star as it reflected the patches of light that Saoru’s swarm permitted.
The hundreds of fuma shuriken would strike the Rokubi and its tails and seemingly disappear within that thick, mucus membrane. However this attack wasn’t meant to pierce the creature, whom had been resistant to the wave of electricity earlier, but to stun it.
Suddenly one hundred and four wires, each attached to the Rokubi, would begin to glow a dazzling bright white as electricity poured through them, bathing the surrounding forest in an otherwordly glow. The stunning effects of all this power, of all these Jounin and Chuunin pouring all that they had into paralyzing the beast, would hopefully bear fruit upon the hopefully weakened Rokubi.
Regardless, as of now, the beast was taking in far more electricity than even a natural thunderstorm could produce. It was up to Saoru and Omoi to deliver the finishing blows—if they could.

All of the fallen were gathered by Chino's phoenixes, that was the method of his madness. Fifteen of his platoon flocked the skies for surveillance; they each transported Iyrōnin to the wounded or vice-versa, it was something akin to a transportation service. All the while, ten more of the platoon of phoenixes carried shinobi to and fro, allowing them to attack or defend as they wished. Ariel attacks whether close, mid or far range were ensued by the Cloud Shinobi; " 1RAITON: RAIDAN NO JUTSU!" Several of the Cloud Shinobi, riding upon the back of the phoenixes, cried out with a fierce roar, dozens upon dozens of thumb-sized advances covered the Rokubi and its surrounding area, some fueling Shiun's transformation. Although, upon Shiun's call they scattered, gaining as much distance as they could for the oncoming attack. ブーム "What's that smell?!" The young Munashi yelled as it scurried along their journey to the front lines to prove their worth, to do what they had to do. Mid-way in his journey a huge, black-white-mixed, sphere of chaos and destruction shot across the world, clashing into a mountainside which luckily survived the encounter-- This is crazy! Fear seemed to well up and diminish what was left of Yahiko's courage as he stood upon the front lines witnessing the mayhem such a beast, formed of the very same ebnergy they used daily to survive, could do at a whim. He began to panic as he watched. Even before the explosion by Saoru was released he began to get woozie, and once it was released he fell unconscious. Though, moments later he was saved and recovered, along with many others, by an Iyrōnin who sat upon the back of a phoenix. "Are you okay?" A voice something akin to an angels seemed to call from the Heavens. He looked up, only able to see the bright, whiteness that was the behind his closed eye-lids after being knocked unconscious. Am I--am I-- his thoughts began to be as loud his his wakeful voice before he popped up, blurting out-- "AM I DEAD?!" He asked, heart beating at an accelerated pace. "Oh, good." Smiled the beautiful, ebony medic as she began to nurse to any visible damage done to the youngster. "Everything appears to be fine. You're lucky, you know?" "Huh? How...?" The bedazzled Genin spazzed, "How !? I fainted... like a punk! I was scared! I couldn't protect the village!" "That much may be true," the nurse began, issuing a soft, sweet smile that began to make Yahiko feel a little at ease. A little. "But, in the end, you're still alive and you haven't sustained any harmful damage. I've seen people who are in much, much tougher conditions than you are... That aroma that's in the air, that beast that we're all fighting with all our hearts and mind, its harmed many in ways you couldn't fathom. So," she patted Yahiko on his back as she brought him back closer to the village, so he could do his duties there, if he could. "Count your blessings, and do what you can here... Protect those who cherish the village just as you do, that--that's how you can help." "O-okay... !!" He yelled with his spirit rejuvenated. Back to Chino, over there, high in the skies above the Rokubi, he'd been recovering from the chakra consumed from his Summoning he had done not to long ago while he and his five remaining phoenixes prepared the area behind Rokubi, lying explosion notes and traps every which-way. "When we finish this Jutsu," he said literally a second after Saoru's attack, "One of you two better catch me!!" With a "Hai" resounding from the phoenixes, Chino turned-- "Ujihō. It's almost time for us to pay our dues~ 2And get in the action with our killer fuse!" Standing up, feet planted on the back of Ujihō as he steady clapped his ten digits in a blur of speed. A column of smoke filled their position in the air as a new being was formed out of no where, made up of the two beings. A creature with the ferocity of Chino and the beauty of Ujihō soared through the sky, so as the smoke subsided from Saoru's attack he engaged the Rokubi. With this new beings size almost on par with the boss phoenix summon itself, this being would be able to hopefully deal his bit of damage to this beast. To protect his village and villagers, and to show all the strength of the second Kinkaku Butai member--The Fire Fist Chino. "We used your chakra for the fusion so I have enough chakra for only a few techniques after this one..." Closing in of the Rokubi two seconds later, 3luminous blue, white, raging flames engulfed both wings of the hybrid. In an instant, which was actually about four seconds after the explosion, two burning, colossal fists shot at the Rokubi with a force that was built up by speed and done in two consecutive jabs that would be more than enough to deal damage to the Rokubi which would sway the battle in their favor just a bit. Releasing the combinational-transformation, Chino and Ujihō both split back into their regular forms before the phoenix poofed. Hihō, a young valiant phoenix, swooped down as Chino fell after connecting to the side of the Rokubi's dome, catching him and zooming off to the side-lines. - - 1Raiton: Raidan no Jutsu This technique forms a large wave of electrical chakra and shoots it forward. | | 2『コンビ変化・鳳モード』 KONBI HENGE ・ HŌMODO Combination Transformation: Phoenix-mode, is a B-ranked transformation technique used between Chino and his phoenix summons. As the phoenixes provide the chakra Chino performs the handsigns required to execute the transformation which is done in a cloud of smoke. As the technique is completed a new being will be formed, which is determined by which form Chino choses to take, and they are as listed: a hybrid, half-phoenix form and a full, phoenix transformation.
In each of these forms Chino obtains increased physical attributes, though how much his attributes are amplified varies up which form he's in, neither form gives him too much of an increase but rather a slight one. While in these forms Chino has selective parts changed, his arms transformed into wings usually (he can transform his wings into hands, when required) and his feet changes into phoenix talons. |
3『火拳』HIKEN Fire Fist, is the primary B-ranked technique developed by Chino after it was decided that he possessed the fire nature. Collecting fire chakra into a compact sphere that wraps around the entirety of his fist (his dominate hand), forming a vibrant orb of blue flames around his hand. With a thrust of his fist shooting forward much like a torch as the strike clashes into the desired target, the influx of flames will explode forth viscously, the searing heat from the fire rupturing, expanding further as it besieges the target forcing them away as they're being broiled by the violent blue fire.
An added bonus to this technique is that it is capable of being extruded quite a distance, expanding while its temperature raises as it volts forward. The only true downfall to this technique is it can only extrude forth in straight trajectory. In lieu of this, in an effort to maintain the force of the technique it can be used while Chino is mobile, moving at speeds reasonable enough to amplify the thrust which is delivered from with a strong, rapid impact similar to the natural forces generated by implosion. The significance given to speed requires the actions to clear-cut and clean. When the blow is released, the force is delivered explosively like thunder an complimented with the swiftness of lightning.

SLUGPOST The Rokubi watched its rumination explode far away from its intended target with bestial ignorance. It was more confused about the lack of destruction than it was the cause of the redirection, but that train of thought would be quickly derailed by more skittering things attempting to do it harm…
The next coordinated attack caused the Rokubi no Namekuji to screech in anger. Hundreds of sparking weapons stabbed into its flesh, though hundreds more bounced off harmlessly. The blinding wall of lightning that followed passed into the bijū without notice, as did Shiun’s powerful slash with an arm transformed and powered by electricity.
As if that wasn’t obnoxious enough, the rotting earth underneath the mighty creature collapsed, dropping it a foot down into a triangle-shaped caldera. It looked down with confusion at the ground that had previously supported it, then up at the fissure created by Kin and her squadron. Much of the precious slime it had just poured into it was draining away and that was simply unacceptable.
Up until now, the Six-Tailed Slug had been identified by its more obvious gastropod-esque features and not by the fact that it actually possessed six tails. It did not; it possessed one large, bloated appendage that dragged behind it, saturating whatever it walked over with lethal mucus. This one tail lifted up and with a mighty shriek, split into five more, causing a fan of acid to spray in all directions.
Then the bijū was engulfed by an explosion of truly catastrophic proportions. Though the fire and pressure from the Yondaime Raikage’s attack was safely absorbed immediately after, much of the smoke remained, which meant that Sonzou’s venomous fists and the dizzying array of fūma shuriken were shot blindly. The blast of lightning that followed after the weapons briefly illuminated through the smoke, revealing a slumped over, immobile mass.
Once the smoke cleared, the Rokubi no Namekuji appeared defeated. It was lousy with pock marks, oozing wounds, and hardened mucus. If that wasn’t sign of damage enough, it was missing large chunks of its body, including part of one tail and an eye stalk.
All of that, however, was temporary. Just when someone might be getting the idea that the bijū was defeated, it began to stir. When the mighty beast quaked, so did the earth, sending shock waves through the air, the ground, and that awful chakra intensified to truly frightening levels. All of its wounds began to regenerate, popping back into place with loud, wet snaps. Its severed limbs regrew instantly, springing up from the stumps with untraceable speed, and all of its stale mucus yet again became slick and virulent.
Howling with rage, the Rokubi no Namekuji immediately zeroed in upon the fiery blue hybrid zooming towards it. Its six tails curled around to the front and in the center began readying Bijūdama. This time, however, it was fully formed and shot with double the speed as before, as well as double the size. A crackling sphere of concentrated destruction roared towards Chino like an ascending meteor, but that was not the end of the bijū’s wrath.
The Rokubi no Namekuji whirled with deceptive speed upon Saoru and her mount, yards above the ground. Another super-charged Bijūdama was formed and shot in her direction, though something about this one was inherently different. It formed smaller and more concentrated than the last one, and when it was loosed, a ray of death — not an orb — was delivered.
Not waiting to see the results of its attacks, the bijū stomped out of the indentation and continued vomiting its deadly sludge into the trench. Though some of it had been emptied and continued to drain, the bijū was not deterred. The deluge of sludge that poured from its mouth was intensified and to ensure no more meddlesome insects attempted to bother it, its six tails swished back and forth, raining omnidirectional acid for half a mile.

“You have got to be kidding me…” Kado stood there, dumbstruck as he watched the scene before him unfold.
The Rokubi seemed to be defeated. It was hunched over, dried and dying. It was weakened enough for Saoru to easily come down and perform her iconic Fuinjutsu. But then—but then it revived. Its mucus membrane became wet; the missing chunks of its body began to regenerate and the six tails…
“FRONT LINES, PULL BACK NOW!!” The order was given without hesitation. Any Shinobi in front of the gate of Kumogakure no Sato was doomed if this continued. Giant globs of acid and slime were sent every which way, coupled with Bijuudama being popped off as if they were toys.
Eyes narrowed, Kado could only watch in horror as Chino, one of the Kinkaku Butai, flew straight into ones trajectory and while another beam aimed to obliterate Saoru completely. Teeth grinding, Kado’s genius mind began to fire like mad now as he attempted to process a way to stop this devastating creature. Fire didn’t work, but explosions did. Lightning worked somewhat but it regenerated those wounds too quickly. And that slime. God damn that slime! Some of it even reached the gates, eating through the metal and gold as if it was nothing.
Focusing even harder, Kado looked down towards the pool that was forming. That had to be done away with as well.
“Front lines, Kin and your squad, leave explosive tags near that blasted pool it's making! We need to make sure it does NOT reach the village or we’re all screwed!” Finishing his order, Kado looked back to the beast whom was intent on making its way up the mountains. “Front lines, also leave explosive tags as you pullback. If the Bijjuu wants up here so bad, it’s going to have to walk through hell to do it.”
Right now fighting the beast outright wasn’t working. Poisonous fist, flaming phoenixes and lightning giants were barely slowing it down, and if it attempted to hike up the mountain, Kado would make sure that it would be caught up in one hell of an explosion as it did.

Explosions shook Kaito as Kumogakure attempted to destroy the beast. In the mayhem, he caught a glimpse of his attack hitting the Biju. Undeniably, the immediate area had naturally shied away from the attack, indicating it had more potential than the ineffective fire-based techniques. As Saoru's massive attack landed, the Nintengorira stopped their assault. In the aftermath of smoke, life seemed to freeze for a moment. Kaito and his summons stared into the haze, trying to find their target. Upon seeing its defeated form, Kaito frowned. He knew that if such an attack could effect the beast so easily, then it had not been functioning at full capabilities. Before he had managed to warn the others, a wave of foul chakra forced the man to vomit. As the Biju launched its signature attack at Chino and Saoru, Kaito and company retreated, practically spewing their insides as they ran back to the gates.
Upon arriving in the masses, they turned to find acid raining down on their former position. Barely out of range, the Nintengorira appeared panicked. Kaito yelled orders at the Nintengorira, and they promptly responded by forming hand seals, looking up into the sky at the acid that threatened them all. Methodically they took turns clapping, the chakra formed in their hands launching out to intercept the acid. The force hit the sludge, removing enough velocity from it to make it fall harmlessly between the two opposing forces. In the meantime, Kaito had prepared a more offensive technique. Again he shot a beam of chakra, yet this time it was much larger and aimed above the monster. In a firework display, the beam shattered once overhead the Biju, splitting into several smaller beams that whizzed down, peppering its midsection.
Hitoame Reezaakōsen | Laser Beam Shower | 『 B-Rank 』 A variation of Reezaakōsen Hahen, this technique has slight differences. While still breaking into several small beams, with this technique they will shoot into the ground. As such, the original beam is meant to be shot over the enemy's head.
Kuchiyose: Hataku Kitsui | Spiritualism: Forceful Clap |『C-Rank 』 The Nintengorira can form chakra in each of their hands, and by clapping, send the chakra out with the air forced out by the motion. The result is a forward blast of wind, varying in strength based on the caliber of the animal summoned.

audentes fortuna iuvat fortune favors the bold * * * * * * |
Marui was in such awe and disgust due to the bijū before him that Saoru's shout actually frightened him and snapped him back into reality. When the Raikage called him a fool, he pouted, but was very determined to disobey her direct orders and remain here, on the field of battle, rather than back in the safety of the village with the children. He was no child, he was a shinobi, and had earned his spot upon the front lines, right? As one of the Raikage's butterflies were charged with the mission of returning him to safety, apparently he had not earned his place here. Apparently he was still considered a child.
The usually glorious butterfly seemed rather dull under the present circumstances, and as it plucked Marui from the ground and held him tight to it's chest as it flew toward the village, he couldn't help but feel even more nauseous. The boy resisted at first, but when the butterfly made a feral sound, akin to a growl, he stopped and stayed still — a child scorned.
Now Marui was never gifted as some sort of sensor, and his chakra-sensing abilities were average at best, but there was no doubt in his mind that the beast was preparing yet another of it's tailed beast balls. The menacing chakra was literally oozing out of alongside it's vile slime, and it took everything Marui had in him to not only hold his stomach but to stay conscious. Turning his head, the boy saw a devastating sphere of chakra headed toward one of the jōnin, as well as a concentrated beam of chakra sent at Saoru-sensei. Panicking, the genin was reassured that his sensei was safe for the moment by seeing the tell-tale pulsing of her nervous system with his Aogan, signifying she was still conscious.
Acid began to rain down upon the battlefield just as the butterfly Saoru had dispatched dropped Marui off just within Kumogakure. There was still a ways to go before he would be of help to the civilians, but the menacing glare he received from the butterfly was enough to remind him of the Raikage's orders and would serve to deter him from returning to battle.
As mature as he'd like to think he was, Marui was very immature, and needed to find something productive to do as the Rokubi no Namekuji was terrorizing the front lines of Kumo's defense. All the civilians had been evacuated out of the lower levels of Kumogakure, which left the boy alone in the streets, except for the few shinobi placing traps and writing fūin on walls, presumable in case the Rokubi made it's way into the village. Sighing, the boy shook his head, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath, trying to center himself. Once his eyes opened, they burned with the fiery determination of the genin fighting on the front lines, although this determination was re-channeled towards helping with the civilians, children, and elderly.
As much as he didn't think he was contributing to the village, escorting civilians to safety while people fought toe to toe with one of the famed bijū, the boy swallowed his pride and did what he was told. Little did he know that the task he had been assigned was, in it's own way, very important too.

Shiun's blade bounced off of the Six-Tails as soon as it hit, causing Shiun to stumbled back. He regained his balance just in time with his neck arced to see the sky. Butterflies were pouring down from above, and even before the seal gave off the tell, Shiun knew what Saoru was about to do. He bolted from his position, taking quick and long strides in a sprint to cross a distance far enough to avoid the massive explosion.
He was safe from the explosion, only feeling the residual shockwave as it buffeted against his large being. And then, finally, he fell to one knee. He had underestimated the Rokubi's chakra when he approached it. Lightning poured from Shiun's mouth onto the ground, scarring a small piece of land. Shit...
For now, he was crippled. The effects of his direct exposure to the Rokubi's chakra had not worn off yet, and he watched helplessly as it lashed out with two bijūdama; one at the phoenix hybrid shinobi and the other at Saoru herself. I am sorry, Saoru-chan. As soon as I am free of this crippling feeling, I will once again help in fighting off the Rokubi.

The Yondaime was no fool. Though the beast appeared defeated to the assembled village forces, she knew there was no way in hell that a few explosives could just finish off the demon slug. Nor could a few currents of electricity and some shuriken.
This was the Rokubi no Namekuji, infamous for its ferocity and raw power like the other tailed beasts. Her golden eyes narrowed into slits as the dust formed a tunnel for which she could fully witness the beast reform. The pulse of chakra that was released upon its regeneration made her lips spill over with remnants of her last meal. The sour liquid splashed along the back of her butterfly, who was already on edge from the loss of so many of his children.
The graceful insect shuddered, its head spinning around to glare at the Raikage. "You're fucking serious?" It rumbled in a what could best be described as a snarl.
She mumbled an apology, wiping her chin as she did so. She averted her eyes toward the rejuvenated beast. The tails had become fully apparent as they fanned outward. The butterfly swerved easily to and fro to avoid the globs of acid which were sprayed outward.
The rage of the beast intensified, and she could feel it layered on top of the pressure of the bijū similar to the killing intent used by the fiercest shinobi to intimidate their foes. Choking back another mouthful of vomit, she threw a kunai tagged with a burning explosive note to blast back a gargantuan orb of acid that flew toward her.
When she looked back at the beast, she facepalmed. Chino, one of the shinobi she hand-picked for the village's elite force, was blazing straight toward the slug. Saoru peered through her fingers to watch the bijū form another massive discharge of chakra, shockwaves of air rippling the air as it burst forth to obliterate the phoenix summoner. There was not way to reach him in time, and even if she could, she had herself to worry about.
The Rokubi turned on her, its ebony eyes burning with ancient destruction. Its mouth tore open, long ribbons of saliva connecting its jaws as a sphere of swirling malice spun into being. Eyes wide, she barely had time to jump between her butterfly's twin antennae and fold a blur of seals. Thrusting out her palm, the seal in the center ignited with chakra and opened to reveal an empty hole.
The blast that was released sent her hair and robes fluttering. Her hand, with palm opened wide, was the only thing protecting her and the army behind her from imminent destruction. The area was bathed in light, her form appearing to disappear into the massive river of chaos --
The light dimmed. The beam was stalled in mid-air, its entire length streaming into the fūin etched on the Raikage's hand. The light disappeared completely, taking only a few seconds for Saoru to devour such a wicked attack. Like the nekomata of folklore, nothing would get in her way.
The arm dropped to her side. Her other rose, her fingers uncurling from a fist to an open palm.
ドガア—ン !!
A shockwave of the same chakra with even greater power was unleashed on the beast. The stream of destruction and death aimed to consume its entire form and weaken it enough to perform the sealing.
"Uungh." Instantly, her shoulders dropped and she vomited over the side of the butterfly she rose upon. With her chakra nearly exhausted, the effects of the Rokubi's aura affected her severely.
Throwing off her robe, she would wipe a stripe of ruby across the seals on both of her biceps. Chakra pouted from her, filling up her reserves once again. The image of a monster cat consumed her, then faded as her body adjusted to the surplus of rejuvenating energy.
"KUMO! UNLEASH THE FINAL ATTACK!!"

At the whim of the wind his kimono fluttered as he fled on the back of Hihō. Dozens of meters away from two more of his phoenixes, who were on the other side of the Rokubi, safely out of distance from the spells of the battle field. He disappeared in a sudden poof of smoke as he was pulled through the void of space and time. The Revere Summon was utilized.
Reappearing out of the distance of the bijū's signature torrent, he could see it. On the opposite side of where he was priorly, he clenched his chest as he saw what would of otherwise been the end of him. If he didn't play the safe role by having four of his phoenixes in his proximity as he engaged this demon, he probably would've died. Luckily for him, they saw the bijū as it gathered its chaos, forming it into an orb, and thus they saved their master.
Unfortunately the trouble wouldn't stop there; now, covering a half of a mile distance, globs of acid splattered across the clouded sky. A bead of sweat the size of a golf ball fell own his face. Still shocked, after being warned by a shrilled released in a manner akin to a dogs bark, he ducked and dodged as he dashed back and further away from the incoming globs.
In no time, with a newly acquired rage, the Rokubi conjured a second chaotic torrent of destruction, this time unlike before it was not aimed at one of the Knights but the Queen herself. Chino's eyes expanded out as he saw the Raikage handle the bijū assault with ease and then, in a blink of an eye, she released it back at the Rokubi.
After the ebony commander absorbed, amplified, and redirected the Rokubi's attack, the tides were defiantly about to turn. The Gods of the Cloud roared as Saoru bellowed her last command. This was it, the final attack.

And so the final moments of the battle had come…
Enro Kado stood there, his hair blowing about in the winds created by the Raikage’s latest assault. The beam that had been redirected had caused a torrential explosion and the resulting mushroom cloud had towered high into the sky. Displaced air rolled about the mountains of Kaminari no Kuni and birds flew into the air, clearly distressed by what was happening. Eyes half lidded and mind sharpened, Kado spoke the final commands of the battle into the microphone that was attached to his neck. “ Detonate the tags.” Order one completed. You see, the explosion from Saoru’s redirecting had thrown those hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of tags left behind by the front lines into the air and sent them into a spiral about the Rokubi. With his order the Shinobi detonated them. The following explosion was magnificent in scale as the Bijuu was completely emulated by the remainder of those many explosive tags. “ Now Kumogakure…Invasion Repelling Tactic Ten.” “HAI!” The forces of Kumogakure, many of whom had retreated back behind the gate, appeared along the cliff sides and the gate proper. Whilst Kaito fired his grand beam into the hearts of the smoldering clouds, the rest of the Shinobi would perform the final repelling tactic in their arsenal. A last ditch effort, used only when all others had failed. Closing his eyes, Kado nodded to signal the start of it. The Shinobi of Kumogakure no Sato unleashed all that they had in the guise of hundreds, no, thousands, perhaps even a greater number, of ninjutsu. Fire, water, earth, air, lightning, all of it poured onto the cloud of the Rokubi. The chakra of such a beast was great and amazing, but could it compare to every last Shinobi’s jutsu being poured into it constantly? A bright light took over the corrupted forest around the monster, a light of many colors. The rainbow would sizzle, burn, freeze, bury, electrocute, cut, slice and attempt to evaporate the stigma from the face of the Earth. Of course Kado knew it would not work. Of course he knew they could not kill the Bijuu. But this was the best they had, their final assault. It was said that on this day the Gates of Kumogakure no Sato turned gold with the force of ten thousand souls. And that was the truth. Looking up into the sky, which had changed a thousand times during the battle, Kado sighed. Beams of sunlight stabbed downwards and illuminated parts of the color stricken landscape. However his eyes were not focused on that. No, Kado turned his attention to the leader of this grand village, whom had ordered the attack proper. “ Saoru,” All prefixes and suffixes had been dropped. Kado didn’t have time to play with his words. “ If you have some way to seal this damn thing off, now is one hell of a good chance.”[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

SLUGPOST Thinking the little things scurrying about were dealt with, the Rokubi decided to continue on its path of destruction towards the ultimate goal: The largest and brightest thing it could see in the early morning sky. Kumogakure would surely sate its ravenous appetite — for a short time, anyway. After that, it would seek out other meals, preferably ones that wouldn’t struggle as much.
It came as some surprise then, when during the bijū’s oceanic vomiting it sensed a disturbance of chakra on par with its own. It had only experienced such incredible — and oddly familiar — chakra a few times before, so it yet again stopped disgorging mucus into the chasm and pivoted its bloated neck skyward.
The dumb beast had less than a second to register what was about to unfold, but by then it was too late. A blast of its own making was set upon it, blanketing Rokubi no Namekuji in chaotic fire so great that it rocked the very foundations of Kumogakure. Saoru’s returned attack was thunderous, though a shrill cry of pain could be heard emanating from the bijū if one listened closely.
When the ray ceased, the feared Six-Tailed Slug was once again still, but this time its condition appeared far more severe. Its entire body was blackened and flaky, as if burned by fire of such intensity even its nonflammable slime was overwhelmed. No large pieces were missing like last time; Rokubi no Namekuji appeared to have simply been struck harder than it was capable of resisting.
Any attack that followed was moot. The creature was defeated. How long the beast would remain as such, however, was unknown.
“Don’t order me ‘round, scrub!” Kin hollered back through her com. She was far more preoccupied with dragging her unconscious men back to safety. She was now the only one still in control of their faculties from her team, the rest having fallen victim to the bijū’s gut-churning chakra.
Before running back with the last man slung over her shoulder, she scattered a few explosive notes to silence Kado’s unwelcome commands. Kin collapsed against a barricade then, her body impossibly heavy, her legs wobbling, and her head spinning. Then the explosions came, both from Saoru’s redirected Bijūdama and Kado’s team initiating their counterattack.
A completely unprepared Kin was blown airborne via the tremendous shock wave. She smashed face-first into the base of the cliff and vomited for the first time since the bijū arrived, then dizzily stumbled back towards Kumogakure, barely aware of her surroundings.

The Raikage wasted no time once her chakra system became used to the overwhelming amount of chakra that was unleashed into her body from the seals on her biceps, now red after her blood had released them completely. Fully restored after using such a ridiculously powerful attack, the Yondaime nudged the butterfly underneath before it shuddered and launched forward as a white streak in the air. A few remaining butterflies, now able to get close to the defeated beast, landed in a tight ring around the demon.
Chakra radiated from their antennae to further aid in trying to break down the the beast's energies, but it was an almost impossible task. The Rokubi was a living entity of chakra. No matter, the Raikage clapped her hands with thunderous force. A large gourd appeared in front of her, and she rested a hand on it.
Raising her hand to her ear, she pressed the button on the earpiece to allow her communication to her forces. "Any shinobi specialized in capture and neutralization needs to help subdue the beast immediately!"
Two of her former students appeared next to her, forming a string of handseals before planting their hands to the ground. Runes blazed to life around the bijū, chains shooting out of them and wrapping around the massive creature and pulling it down toward the ground to pin it. A group of shinobi soon followed, surrounding the beast and raising their hands upward. A net of lightning would sear against the creature's skin and aim to paralyze it.
"Keep going!"
The Yondaime bellowed, her own hands streaming into a chain of handseals. The gourd next to her blazed to life and ribbons of fūin glowed mystically. The lid to the gourd seemed to disintegrate, and the suction force would soon draw in the tailed beast. "Tekkō Fūhyō!"

Sonzou watched as everything unfolded. The Bijū shooting two Bijūdama. His comrade almost being incinerated before him. And the other about to take his and Saoru-sama's life. Sonzou was ready to push Saoru out of the way of the strike, but fortunately, Saoru was also ready. She redirected the attack back to the Bijū and successfully struck it.
Chino, on the other hand, managed to save himself and barely dodge complete inhalation. Saoru's attack connected with the Rokubi and defeated it. With her call, he used his poison to continue striking as "the final attack". Once everything was said and done, Kinzoku's poison would sink into the ground. He stood by Saoru as she completed the sealing technique.
Sonzou was astonished by Saoru's actions. He was used to her greatness due to her being his former teacher but today she especially exemplified why she was the Yondaime Raikage. Staying alert, Sonzou stood by Saoru's side. He was standing guard to protect her during the sealing process. No one knows what could happen. Especially since no one was expecting a Bijū attack to begin with.

The NPC’s keep doing their thing, with their village wide attack and all. Kado watches like a badass leader and throws some explosive tags or something. The NPC’s keep doing their thing, with their village wide attack and all.
