The anxiety was subsiding now as she clung to Osa and he spoke so gently to her. Of course Osa would never do anything to hurt her. No one could hurt her anymore. She felt foolish for her actions, as involuntary as they had been. It was only a reminder of how far she really had to go, still. Kurama had seen it now, how ugly it could get. Prying through her memories had to seem paltry compared to this.
Following Osa's line of sight to the hole in the ceiling of the shack, she bit her lip. How on earth were they planning to fix that? Neither of them were carpenters, not that it would have helped with no lumber and grass to patch the hole. Osa's proposed idea sounded much better...there were no witnesses to the cause of the destruction, and with the clone gone, there would be no evidence. Yes, this was a far superior plan. Sio had done enough owning up for the day. Food was a good idea. "Sounds good!" she chirped, trying to force a little cheerfulness into her voice.
