'Some of us are living safely within villages who will protect us, Shukaku.' said Matatabi, stepping up beside Kayoi who placed her hand on the fire kitty in a petting motion. That was how Kayoi expressed her good will towards Matatabi, since she wasn't into all the sentimental stuff.
'We have allies and friends who will not let anything happen to us,' Matatabi continued on, looking over at the large tanuki whom was her brother.
"That's right," interjected Kayoi, looking around with a smirk. "And there's no way those stupid fuckers will ever lay a hand on me and Matatabi anyways without getting burned to a crisp."
To be honest, even though they had just arrived she had already grown way beyond bored with this meeting. She didn't see the point in any of those, it was just a colossal waste of her time where she could be sexing it up with one of her smuts back in the village. She scoffed.
"C'mon Matatabi, I said we weren't staying long." she stated while walking off. "I'm sure Ro-senpai has the gist of everything anyways."
Fade to white.
'Bye.'

"Where do you think you're going, beast?" Chiie stopped doing her paperwork, noticing the mental block that the beast was trying to put up and had failed miserably at. "When will you learn that you have... no control?" mentally, Chiie destroyed the mental block, revealing a haggard Son Goku; a name revealed to Chiie only by force. He was as if, trying to go somewhere.
"Where were you trying to go?" Now that Chiie was aware of it, the beast would not be going anywhere until she was satisfied. If going anywhere whatsoever. "A meeting of the tailed beasts. I am being asked to attend-ore." Chiie shrugged. "Let's go take a look at the opposition, shall we?" she grinned, and a sighing Son Goku would begin to fade her world into white, where she would find that she was standing, and a great chain that went from the neck of Son Goku, down into her Shihakushō where the chain would seemingly dissapear. Son Goku was on a leash, like being took out for a walk.
Being revealed to most of the Jinchuriki and their counterparts, Chiie was fairly quiet; and she crossed her arms from underneath her Shihakushō.
"I apologize for arriving late. What have I missed?" the tone was cold, and already everybody knew inherently the kind of person that Chiie was. It was only a measure of finding who had the power, and who didn't.

Ro rolled her eyes and signaled to Gyūki after the arrival of the Yonbi. She took careful notice of how the Jinchūriki handled him, and then they left. There was no reason to stay any longer than they already had. Gyūki didn't want to be there, and neither did Ro.
Just like her fellow Kumo Jinchūriki, she faded into white and Gyūki not far behind.

When Sio approached him Shu remained silent. His focus was solely on the reactions of his siblings at the moment. Kurama's actions were predictable, but listening to Matatabi and Gyūki really...what was this emotion? Some mix of sadness and disappointment. All of it was so frustrating. This era of peace really had made them soft. Living safely in the village? What kind of bullshit brainwashing had they undergone for such fearsome creatures to have been reduced to nothing but pathetic house animals? Trusting the villages was a fool's mistake. They were no help in the past. Akatsuki proved that much. But if they were content with resigning their lives to be weapons for a village that couldn't give a shit about them then so be it.
With their departure came the Iwagakure bitch with Son Goku in tow. If anyone represented what he hated most about humans it was that woman. He had half a mind to kill her right then and there for the disrespect she showed his brother. "You look miserable," Shu said simply in response to Son Goku before turning his attention to Sio.
She reminded him of Rinkō, which was annoying.
"I merely wanted us to work together," both clone and beast said in unison. "I didn't expect you to walk away from your villages. Not yet, anyway. But I gathered you all so that we could formulate a plan to deal with the Bijūtsukai." Why was he speaking so freely to her? His beast form looked to the rest of his siblings. "I am the only one among you that is mobile. So I figured that I would offer my help to any willing to accept." He focused on Chomei. "No groups. Something far more clever." At that moment sand began to disperse from his body and headed towards each of the remaining tailed beasts. The sand swiftly compacted until taking the shape of an opened scroll. "Sign the blood contract if you are willing to look past your own selfishness and want to help this broken family of ours."
The contract was for the bijū only. Should any of their hosts attempt to sign the sand would simply disperse and reform closer to the beast. However, the scroll had not formed in front of Son Goku. The sand merely floated shapelessly around him. "It's sad that I had to be the one to inform everyone about Kokuo. Don't you think, brother?"

Kurama barely batted a lash as the two Kumo jinchuriki left with Matatabi and Gyuki in tow. "Later, gators." Kurama said as they faded into white. No sooner had they left than Son Goku showed up, looking much worse for the wear with his jinchuriki, an older woman who made the very air around Sio chill with dominance and intimidation. At seeing the state of his brother, Kurama bristled, baring teeth and eyes blazing, but Sio's hand on his knuckle was enough to still those waters enough for the Kyubi to calm himself, though a low growl could still be heard emanating from deep within his gut, ears pinned as he occasionally cut an eye toward the pair. Son Goku...once arguably with a temper that burned as red hot as Kurama's own. Beaten into submission like an elderly cocker spaniel, leashed IN THEIR OWN DOMAIN. Kurama had half a mind to finish the woman in a single bite, but something was stopping him. While he had the physical ability and all the rage to carry out the act, Sio's cool head was the barrier between his will and his muscles, unable to will them to move a step toward the pair.
Instead, he turned his attention back to Shu, who he was decidedly less angry with. At least his foolishly insane brother, Shukaku, still had the balls to seize his own day. Even if that did involve apparently killing his host and traipsing about the shinobi world, unaided and unprotected. He had to give him that much credit. Sio listened intently as Shukaku spoke to her. She also had to give him his due credit. He presented himself nothing like Kurama had said he would. Albeit a little eccentric, he did not appear to be bloodthirsty, rash or disrespectful. At the end, the sand grains swirled together and formed into a scroll, hovering temptingly in front of the Biju who were left. Who among them would sign? Sio looked to the few of them who were left, then up at Kurama, who looked at the scroll and scoffed, turning his head away from it.
Sio wished she could change Kurama's mind. She wished that he would give this a chance. More than anything, in her mind, and in her heart, she wanted the biju to stand together. To stand for something. Anything, really. She was not eager and headlong to dash into battle, but at the same time, she felt like the 'wait and see' attitude was not the one to be taken with this particular group. Sio stood, watching the others, waiting to see what they might do. Gyuki and Matatabi had left. Would Chomei do the same? And where was the Sanbi and the Rokubi?

The site of the four tails on a glorified leash caused Chomei's wings to buzz stronger than before though they soon settled. She knew all too well that this was the fate of most of her brothers and sisters when placed in the hands of humans and had been lucky in her time to be sealed within such decent individuals. However, she wasn't oblivious to think that Taki couldn't change its mind on how they wanted to harness her power. She couldn't afford to be, less being sealed away in another statue for who-knew-how-long be the end result once more. Sora's face twisted into an odd formation, something between guilt and confusion. All of the other bijuu and their hosts had come in on what looked to be equal terms, and then that woman had the monkey on a leash! He could sense that Chomei was unhappy but wasn't sure what, if anything, he could do about it.
As much as he wanted to assure her that something like that would never happen there was no way he could guarantee such a thing. Taki was new, well, the rebuilt one anyway, and those wishing to make their mark often made bold moves, that much the Chunin could discern. His train of thought derailed when two others left, apparently not waiting around to hear Shukaku's plan. Rude.
The beast spoke of working together, though not in groups. Sure, they could communicate with each other and even meet, more or less, but if they weren't together what good could that do? That question was soon answered by the sand scrolls being formed and placing themselves in front of the remaining bijuu. Some kind of contract? Was his plan to summon or be summoned when aid was needed? It certainly made sense, though could one such as him be trusted so easily. Sora made his way back over to Chomei who had lowered her upper half so that the boy could lean on one of her arms.
"You gonna sign it?" He asked, unsure of Chomei's intent. She had been the one to inquire about the plan, albeit out of respect more so than actually wanting to do it, though as more thought was given to the situation it made sense to be able to readily help one of her siblings should the need arise. "I don't want the same thing to happen to us like with Akatsuki. We were divided back then and could only watch as one by one they picked us off. But with this I think we'll have a chance, and besides I'm the lucky one so if I'm there nothing bad can happen!" Again with the misplaced optimism, but Sora wasn't in any position to argue the point. He trusted the beast to make the right decision and would back her up 100%.
One tail would swing around to the front and sign the contract, how blood emerged from the tip Sora dared not ask. She had been the first to do it, and possibly the only. Two had already left, Kurama didn't seem on board with the idea, and Son had not received a contract, though from the looks of it he wouldn't have been able to sign it anyway.

"How...." A small smile came to the face of the elderly woman as her face somewhat looked down. She was very much certain that if any of these other beasts were inside her, they too would very much be under a leash. "...Pityful." The Gobi had been... took? If anything, if there was a Jinchuriki involved it was very much their fault; or so she had been led to believe. Wasn't even worthy of such a tale. Or tail. That wouldn't been a funny pun, but Chiie kept her mouth silent. The absolute glorified and standing morality that Chiie lacked was definitely the hot topic; the atmosphere significantly thickened and Chiie did not even so much as bat an eyelash When the sand began to materialize in front of her- she did not even lift a hand. Taking a small glimpse at the maroon coloured beast- his body arched in stiffness, not quite so sure of what to make of the situation. Chiie sighed. "Is this it? I had expected more from you all.""Placing weapons in the hands of children. My, my, my, how I wished I had one of you instead." Maybe there would have to be a change of that in the future which drove the question in her mind, would she be able to be the Jinchuriki of two Bijuu? She didn't exactly want to find out, though. "Goodbye for now. Some of you will be seeing me soon." and she gave an absolutely antagonistic, twisted grin. Fade to white- - - She returned to the space in her room- mind very much now at one with the body. She smiled, and continued with her work. Next time, Son Goku, do not even bother with that rubbish.

Isobu viewed the contract in front of him, looked down at his host, and pressed one of his fingers on his sharp tusks. With the blood he signed his name and quietly made his exit. He had heard Shu's plan and was at least willing to accept his aide if needed. With his disappearance Son Goku and his bitch of a host soon followed. Growling lowly as they disappeared Shu made the mental decision that he would kill her at some point. He had no choice, really. It was his responsibility even! Freeing his brother from such...misery.
But that would have to wait.
Withdrawing the sand contracts from Chomei and Isobu he merged the sand into his body. "This is merely just the first step among many," Shu said as he looked to Kurama. His contract hovering around his face like a pesky fly. Shu's expression betraying the mild amusement he was having in annoying the kitsune. He then looked around to see how few of them were left in this domain.
"I've said my piece. If any of you have any ideas feel free to voice them."

Sio watched as Chomei signed, followed by Isobu. As figured, Chiie and Son Goku left without so much as fanfare or a speech. Sio turned and looked at Kurama again, who just looked at her impatiently and turned away.
Sio just couldn't see not signing it. Shu's idea, though young and incomplete, was not without it's merit. Sio could hear the emotion behind it. She could practically feel it. It was constricting. The pleading buckled behind the hovering contracts was breaking her heart. This was not a cold-blooded monster. This was not a heartless murderer. She didn't know his history with Kurama, nor would she go rifling through his memories, but she did know one thing.
She knew that family was all he had. That he was willing to go for broke on this, which could certainly mean life or death for him, for all of them. Which was why she would make the decision she made. She turned toward Shukaku, bowing to him. "I understand what you're trying to do, and why you're trying to do it. Even when family treats you like crap, you still stand behind them, just like they should stand behind you." She then turned to Kurama. "It's okay, Kurama." she said, patting his ankle. "I don't expect you to do anything you don't want to do. If things get out of hand, I'll do the right thing by you. I promise. I won't drag you into anything that I can't get you out of."
Sio...what are you... Kurama started, but he barely had time to get the words out before Sio turned to the floating contract. Shu had said that it would not allow a host to sign. But Sio was no longer a host. No...she was partly a Biju...hopefully enough to allow what she was planning. She ran her fingers through her hair, locating her clip and pulling it free. She found the sharp, lower edge of it and drove her finger into it without a moment's hesitation. As the dot of blood rose on her finger, she inched it toward the floating scroll. Closer and closer she drew, and the scroll did not waver, did not jerk. And when she placed her finger upon it, it held still, as if awaiting her signature.
Sarutobi Sio, she signed with a smearing of metallic crimson. Kurama seemed to sag with exasperation, dropping his head. So...now you're allied with the raccoon dog. he mumbled, looking down at his young charge. She shrugged, smiling a bit. "I can't let him do this alone. You might change your mind, as well." Kurama rolled his eyes, huffing a little bit. Yeah. We'll see. Just remember what you said about not dragging me into things we can't get out of. I'm going to hold you to that now, whelp.

Seeing Son leave was both a relief and jumping off point of sorts for Chomei and Sora. Neither of them wanted to continue watching one of the bijuu being treated like some sort of dog. Granted, a couple of the other Jinchuriki were kind of rude but they hadn't resorted to projecting that onto the bijuu. The shichibi wanted badly to free her brother from such an evil looking woman but knew better than to act on it, not like she had too much choice in the matter anyway. Perhaps she would try and communicate with him on a level that woman could not reach, but that would come at a later time.
Chomei was relieved to see Isobu sign the contract as well, even if her brothers and sister were stubborn they were smart enough to realize when the time to work together had come upon them. Sora's eyes shifted to the Kyubi and its host as they exchanged words; he seemed to be the most stubborn of them all. What came next was odd, was that girl trying to sign the contract herself? Had Shukaku not said that it was only available to the bijuu? A brow raised in confusion but no words were uttered, perhaps she knew something that he didn't. Then again, maybe she was just trying to call his bluff on the matter, it didn't hurt to try after all.
If Sio had been able to sign it then that would be four bijuu linked together, though how exactly this contract was going to work had not been explained... or what the plan was for that matter. The one tailed mentioned that it was the first of many, but that vague explanation wasn't good enough for Sora nor Chomei. We have signed it, but for this to truly work you have to let us know what you're planning, brother. The shichibi spoke, her tail-wings fluttering about in excitement. Indeed it had been quite some time since the bijuu had been in each others company, at least physically, but if they were not on the same page then things would end up being a repeat of the Akatsuki situation.

When Sio made her way to the scroll he was tempted to have it move away from her, but something compelled him to let her sign. Despite his previous demand that only his brethen were allowed. He had good reason for that, of course. Humans could not be trusted. They would seek to abuse his power. Use him as some weapon in their petty affairs. In he hands of his siblings, however, he would know that sufficient purpose must have occurred for another bijū to need him. Nevetheless, there was something about Kurama's latest prison. She seemed sincere.
She seemed like her.
Plus, of all the tailed beasts he wanted to have Kurama in his pocket most of all. So, he would allow this exception since it put him one step closer to his goal.
It wasn't until Chomei pressed that he further elaborate on his plan that he realized he hadn't really said much. He just told them that he had something up his sleeve and wanted them to sign a contract. And they just did it. Nobody read it or anything. They just signed. He laughed, a restrained laugh, but he laughed nonetheless. "You guys should probably read things a little more," he said inbetween laughs. Then he wondered if any of his siblings remembered how to even read. Tonight had proven to him that they certainly have fallen since days long past. "For all you know you just signed your souls to me."
His tail began to swish a little more violently at the lost potential.
"Relax though. It's just a summoning contract. Have your host teach you the ability if you don't already know it," Shu explained. "In short, if one of those Bijūtsukai decide to show up give me a call. I'll kill them for you." The clone of his human form stepped forward some. "Afterall, I've already killed one," the two said in unison once again, a dark grin on both their faces.
"But as I said before, I've said my piece. The plan, much like this night, is still young. So if you have any ideas voice them. Otherwise," he said as the clone turned to sand before returning to his body. "I'll be off. There are at least eight more people that need to make up for our siblings pitiful performances."

Kurama was good and buthurt over this latest development. His tails lashed gently, punctuating this emotion, but Sio seemed rather pleased with herself. "It will work out, Kurama." Yeah, well according to this guy, we might have just signed our lives away. Kurama growled bitterly. Sio giggled a bit, smiling and patting Kurama's foot. "I don't think that's it." Kurama simply rolled his eyes in response and then turned to the tanuki.
Don't try and pull any fast shit with me. Kurama said sharply in Shu's direction. If you betray or use me...or her...it won't be pretty for you. Sweeping Sio up on one of his many tails, he turned and began to walk off into the white nothingness. Just as they began to disappear, Sio gave the orange, furry tail a pat. "You worry too much."
