(clack...clack...clack)
The sound of Kazu's footsteps echoed throughout the building as he made his way into the Oinin headquarters. He was pretty sure that he was suppose to meet Koji here but his brother had a tendency of losing focus and could really be anywhere. As he looked around he noticed that there was something that was a little off. Kazu noticed it in the village itself as well. Something big had happened while they were away on a mission and he couldn't wait to discuss it with his bro.
Leaning against the wall near the entrance, Kazu started fidgeting with the fasteners on his gauntlet. It was a little habit that he had picked up a while back when he had to kill a little time.

After returning home you would think most people would either go have a drink, or just go rest in bed. However, Koji is more focused on his job then most others, and finds research on their potential targets more relaxing. With his feet resting upon the desk, he thumbed through some papers regarding the recent events in the village, shaking his head in dismay. It was hard to think that all this could happen when they only left to complete one mission, and even harder to comprehend some of the events that actually took place.
He was mostly passing time until his slow minded brother would finally show up. Most likely he got distracted by some girl who in the end probably back handed him for saying something stupid. A smirk split his lips as he thought of this, it always made him laugh when his brother failed like that. Then he realized that he probably shouldn't talk considering his own lack of luck with girls. With a sigh he put the papers down while he glanced around the dimly lit room, seeing only a few silent people in the area. Suddenly he spotted his brother leaning against a wall, apparently he had failed to notice him sitting at the desk.
"Yeah. Looks like we got a lot of work ahead of us..." Koji's voice spoke into Kazu's ear.

As Kazuhiro was re-adjusting the straps on his gauntlet an unexpected voice threw him off balance to the point where he nearly fell over. As, he straightened his other clothes he scanned the other and seen exactly who it was that he was looking for. Apparently his brother had arrived there before him, which totally wasn't his fault. The hot red-head at the ramen shop had glanced his way so he thought that he would give it a shot.
Shaking his head he approached where his brother was studying some papers. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed that he had missed a piece of ramen that had stuck to his shoulder and tossed it aside underneath a nearby table.
"I don't wanna hear a thing" Kazu said as he posted up next to the desk. "She wasn't my type. Anyway, you find anything good for us to hunt?" A broad grin spread across his face as he finished his sentence. Kazuhiro usually had fun out on missions and wanted to get back in action.

Koji laughed at his brother jumping like a cat caught off guard by a random shoe. He figured his brother would be late as usual since he has to hit on every girl that he comes by. With a sigh he removed his shoes from the desk and stood up so he could stretch himself.
"Not much. Just an entire prison of criminals that have already been captured once... no big deal"
In his mind this would not be to horribly difficult to round up all the escaped prisoners. Normally he would pass on such a simple task though with all that's going on he was sure the village did not need all them roaming around. Besides that the Kage will most likely wants them to take care of this before it got out of hand.

The grin on Kazuhiro's face slowly faded into an emotionless stare as he took in the information given to him by his brother. Judging from the look on his face there was more to it than what he was letting him know but it didn't matter. Kazuhiro started scratching his head when he spoke, the semblance of emotion still nowhere to be seen.
"So, what you're telling me is that we gotta capture a bunch of nobodies? Man this is lame."
Kazu sighed as he scanned the area, a tired look overtook his face and Koji could probably tell that he was getting real tired of these easy missions.

[/a] A tall thin stranger walked through the door to the Oinin building, as he stepped inside a puff of smoke left his pipe wafting through the room. The smell of sweet fresh honey, another puff of his pipe and he turned to a chair in the assumed waiting area.
The man was dressed in the fashion of a Kirigakure Shinobi but none seemed to recognize his face.
He sat quietly and continued smoking his pipe, with a turn of his head he noticed on the bulletin board were pictures of wanted men and Nukenin as well. Though the Oinin might not always be the people to hunt these individuals he assumed they had the pictures should they happen to see them walking about.
There were many drawings covering the board, then he noticed his own, they always got his nose wrong he thought. These pictures always making men look so feral, but with a glance you would notice he was very clean. His clothes clean, his hair well groomed and he had probably taken a bath rather recently.
He stood up and walked over to the picture of himself taking out a kanji brush he started to write across it.
-Wandering through the mountains, -I seek solitude -and hear symphonies instead
Upon finishing he looked to his work for a moment, the slowly and quietly he returned to his seat. With another breath from his pipe, smoke bellowing sweet honey wisps, he peacefully waited to be helped.

[/blockquote]

He smirked in agreement with his brother then was about to continue when out of the corner of his eye he saw a man. It caught his attention that the man looked out of place, but upon further inspection Koji recognized him. Quickly he pulled a book out of a pocket in his jacket and began to thumb through its pages looking for something. Stopping at a picture of a man that looks almost identical to the one that just walked in Koji cocked an eyebrow as he looked from the man to the picture a couple times.
Turning the book to show his brother the picture he then motioned his head toward the man. After he was sure that Kazihiro caught on he slipped the book back into his pocket before reaching in another to pull out a sucker. Unwrapping it casually he placed it into his mouth as he waited for his brother to make the first move.
"Looking a little lost are we?"
When saying this Koji threw his voice so that it would sound as if someone was standing right next to the wanted man. Though his eyes stayed focused on his brother just so the man would begin to wonder who was talking.

While Kazuhiro scanned the area he didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. There weren't that many shinobi in the area and most of the ones that were there looked like they belonged. That's when his brother decided to show him something out of one of his books. The odd thing was that when he did that he made a gesture toward the nin that had come in recently and put graffiti on one of the posters.
Once he realized the meaning that his brother was trying to convey he immediately spun toward the man with his gauntlet-ed finger pointing right at him.
"YOU!!"
After he was sure that he had the man's attention he began to slowly stalk toward the man with an intense look on his face. Kazu was unsure of his intentions on being here in the first place but he had already decided that it was his duty to find out what this man was up to.

[/a] He sat silently smoking waiting, without time on his mind he let the sounds and smells pass over him.
He heard a voice, from his side, still he sat...
The men came towards him and still he sat...
Smoking his pipe the clouds billowed towards the men filling their nostrils with the sweet wisps of honey. He sat as the men crept closer and closer, he kept his eyes where they had been floating across the pages of a book.
Then as they were almost close enough to touch him, he spoke...
-Blowing from the west -Fallen leaves gather -In the east.
He said in a soft calm voice, as he reached out with his hand not holding the book with a scroll. Holding it without thought to their actions he waited for them to take it.
Knowing what it said, he assumed this scroll of pardon from the Mizukage herself would be enough to satisfy the mens desire to arrest him.
The added part about him being asked by her to help these men in their tasks with the prison was not an idea he was fond of. But it was better then being the one taken to their own imprisonment.
waiting for one of the men to take the scroll he quietly smoked and waited.

[/blockquote]

As he stood there Koji simply continued sucking on his sucker merely surveying the potential threat. His eyes scanned the man in question along with the surroundings as he sorted out a plan of action in his mind just in case. Though hearing the mans words made him stop for a moment to think...
'What is the guy on?'
Tilting his head to the side as the man pulled out what looked like a scroll, handing it over to his brother. Playing with the sucker using his tongue he waited for his brother to inspect the scroll for signs of danger, based on what he could tell by the mans body language he did not seem to have bad intentions. In fact he looked as calm as could be well putting off a vibe like he thought he was better then everyone.

The low sound of murmurs were barely audible from the somewhat small audience the three men had come to acquire. As Kazuhiro approached the smoking man and noticed that there was a small amount of smoke around him. Not wanting to breathe in anything but oxygen into his lungs Kazu raised his left hand let a small amount of wind chakra into the guantlet, resulting in a small pulse of wind that blew all of the smoke away from him.
Now that he was closer to the man Kazu was able to see the scroll and noticed that the seal of the Mizukage was clearly visible. To let his brother know that the threat was minimal at the moment Kazu reached over and grabbed the scroll from the smoker with his bare right hand and tossed it behind him without ever looking away from the man. Without even thinking about it, Kazuhiro started to let more chakra seep into the claw making it start to glow a little.

[/a] Setai was unsure if the men were being cautious or were trying to intimidate him, it seemed like a mixture of both. He smoked the last remnants of the pipe, a feint breath. Then with one hand, while still holding the book with the other, seemingly lost in the book. His other hand went fast to work refilling the pipe. He brought the pipe back to his lips and with a spark from his finger life returned to his pipe, taking in the first breath, the smell of honey consuming his own nostrils.
After he had taken a few puffs, he left the pipe dangling from his lips, he looked to the man standing before him for a brief moment. He reached to his scrolls with a free hand and brought out one setting it on the chair next to him.
Laying the book on his lap he allowed his hands to flow into the necessary hand seals, and with a small puff of smoke something appeared above the scroll. He pulled out another piece of scroll paper repeated the process and again with a puff of smoke something else appeared.
He continued this process until sitting on the chair was a bottle of sake with three small sake glasses sitting next to it. Filling the glasses he offered two to the men before him.

Catching the scroll Koji quickly un-rolled it to read what was inside, the sucker twirled in his mouth he sat on the desk to read. He let out a laugh when he saw the part about this guy 'helping' them, and the calmly rolled it up again.
"Get a load of this"
He spoke as he to his brother before tossing the scroll back to him, he then crossed his arms merely looking at the guy. Seeing the drinks appear Koji chose not to even aknowledge them at all, drinking really was not his thing.
'I hope lady kage knows what shebis doing'

The low murmur of people talking returned as they began to realize that nothing was going to happen at the moment. However, there were a few here and there that kept periodically checking on this situation. It was as if they were trying to determine whether or not it was still safe to remain in the area.
Kazu's stance retained it's rigidness as he stood there in front of their new acquaintance. He still didn't trust the man but he would wait and see how exactly this situation would pan out. At that moment he heard his brother shout something and toss the scroll back at Kazu. Reaching out with right hand he turned his body so that the left shoulder was facing the enemy and caught the scroll his brother returned to him.
Not letting the interloper out of his peripheral vision he opened the scroll and begun to read it's contents. Kazu shook his head as he read through it and tossed the scroll back to it's owner. After a moment of taking in the man's presence Kazu spoke.
"If the Mizukage wants it done, then so be it. If we are to work together however, it would be wise to get to know each other a little bit. "
Kazu didn't like it when the kage did things like this but she must have her reasons. He found it really found it hard to trust a wanted man be he would give him a chance. Sighing he gave up on that thought process for the moment and moved on.
"My name is Satsuomi Kazuhiro..." gesturing toward his bother he continued "...and that is my brother Koji. We are Oinin and as such we are use to and well aware of everything that has to do with the hunting of criminals. I don't know where you're from or what your capable of but anything you could tell me would be of help."

[/a] Noticing that neither of the men seemed interested in the Sake setai drank the two glasses down in quick gulps. Assuming he would be the only one drinking after his interesting welcome he started to take small drinks from the bottle.
Grabbing his scroll of pardon he placed it back into its place amongst his things.
If you would allow it i would share with you my opinion, he said in response to the Shinobi's statement.
We could think of this as a test, are we not both being tested? Your and my loyalty to the Mizukage is in question here. Can you overcome your urge to distrust her desire for me to help you? While, is my vow to her my own truth or a lie? These are questions she may be asking herself now. Do we really want to cast doubt as to whether or not anyone of us could not be trusted?
In these times of civil conflict loyalty is more powerful then all the wealth of the world.
Upon finishing his series of questions and statements Setai sat peacefully smoking his pipe, allowing his words to shadow over the doubt of him that might cloud their minds.

'Is this guy serious?!'
Koji thought in his head as he had stopped paying attention when the man started talking about loyalty. Still sucking on his sucker Koji shook his head not believing the words coming out of this 'ex-missing nins' mouth. It was almost unreal that the man was even speaking to them like he was suddenly just a fellow shinobi. As if just cause the boss lady 'pardoned' him that he would make them just go along with it on a whim. Not only did he not give his name but he didn't even wait to see if we wanted to hear his opinion.
Judging off how this guy talks he seems to be trying to kiss up to them well proving he can be witty. With what is going on in the village they should probably contact the boss lady to ensure he was telling the truth. Even then they would have to keep a close watch on him till he can further prove himself. Though he still had a sucker in his mouth so he would just lean on the desk to see how things unfolded further. Plus this guy was interesting in a way that putting together a puzzle is to some people, it will be enjoyable to figure this man out.

Satsuomi Kazuhiro
A blank look came over Kazuhiro's face as he listened for a moment to this guy's rantings. He wasn't interested in what this guy thought about loyalty especially when he himself used to be a nukenin. As the smoking ranter finished Kazu rose his hand as if telling someone to stop.
"Am I really getting a lecture here on loyalty from a guy who used to be wanted?" Emotion and intensity returned to Kazu's face as he thought about what he would do to the guy if he was trying to trick them. "Especially, when you clearly have no respect for anyone else. I was always taught that when someone else introduces themselves to you that you go ahead and return the favor."
Kazu's stance changed into a slightly more aggressive one and his sword hand hovered next the hilt of Himaki. He made it quite clear through his body language that they had no intention of letting him go anywhere until they had confirmation of supposed pardon.
"Yeah...we're gonna have to wait for confirmation for this sketchy pardon, especially since the timing of it is in the middle of a civil conflict." [/blockquote]

[/a] Realizing the words Setai had said seemed to have fallen on deaf ears he sighed quietly.
Fixing himself and his things in the seat rather quickly Setai returned to smoking and reading, then he spoke.
-The tree will be cut -Not knowing the bird -Makes a nest
Allowing silence to set over them for a moment, Setai then wondered what their interpretations of his poems they would capture in their minds.
Then with a glance to the brothers he said, I will wait here then for you to receive word of my pardon. Then he returned to his book, knowing the men were annoyed by his actions and their interpretations of his words. Setai assumed it would be best to sit and wait, understanding if he didn't these men would probably attack him.

This guys obsession with the lame poetry crap was getting kinda old but it was whatever. Once he felt that the last of his sucker was gone Koji let out a sigh as he formed the Tori seal with his hand. With the stick still in his mouth he activated a seal behind his ear so he could contact the Mizu-Kage on this matter.
"Hey Boss Lady. Did you pardon a Missing-nin by the name of Akodo Setai?"
Again his eyes fell upon Setai with a challenging look on his face like they were having a battle of wits. Koji usually liked testing the mentality of people but it mostly started out with him just listening to the words well watching all the body language.

There was a sort of silence, as the seal was transmitted. Finally it glowed as the connection was made on the other end.
"Pardon would be a strong word to use, I gave him a choice, either come work for the village and not be charged for his crimes----or be melted by molten lava wrapping around him like a cocoon... He chose the former... so in a way, yes.
Anything else? "
Came the voice, sounding a bit impatient.
