Brothers' grim [Invite]

[Ryū-chan~]

A dark night within the Uchiha compound would become the audience to the unsuspecting faces that dwell within the clans district. The moon, which was suspended high in the sky casting down a light of subtlety that complimented the muteness which accompanied the benighted. A rather beautiful envision of what embodied all who pursued the career of a Shinobi. A particle of light that reached out as redemption, yet was ignored for the honor of being in the warrior class. And as the majority who lived their lives under the code of a village Shinobi would tread, the eternal slumber would approached ever closely behind them.

Nonetheless, the end of the road hadn't crept onto the shoulders of one Uchiha, and as such, his journey was destined to find his own way for now. Ryūsuke sat, alone in the comforts of his family's manner. His feet folded over another as he rested one one of the many floor mats that roamed throughout his house. Eyes of vivid green peering out into the night's sky through the living room window, the Uchiha simply sat, and reflected on himself. His hair, pulled back into a ponytail, keeping the ends of his long red hair from swaying behind his back deliriously. Who he was waiting for, was obvious. His brother, Reisuke.

"Fuck!" he yelled, walking--lazily throwing his arms behind his head, tightly clenching his hands--and giving people dirty looks.

He was tired, obviously. This day, Reisuke had went on the most exhausting mission ever. Now, he wanted nothing more than to rest it up. Upon approaching the door of his house, he remembered something: that Ryūsuke would probably be waiting for him, and if this was the case, he'd have to sneak around through the window or something. He didn't feel like doing anything, and if that's what Ryūsuke or anyone else thought, they had another thing coming.

Walking around the house, he'd stop in front of his bedroom windows. By now, he knew what he was doing. Leaping, placing his left foot on the house, and raising his right leg to the window pane, he'd use both hands to lift the window, and, placing both arms in, fell through. However, his landing wasn't as soft as expected. He would find himself lying face first on the floor, legs bent over his back, and arms stretched out. Given the noise he'd make, it was a chance he wasn't getting any sleep tonight. Any minute now, Ryūsuke would come barging into the room.

“You could have easily used the front door, Nii-san,”

Ryūsuke's voice echoed into Reisuke's room as the Uchiha stood in the midst of the Doorway, looking down onto his brother who rested rather comfortably on his floor. Just like the eldest son to rebel and make things more difficult for the two. Sighing and shaking his head in a rather disappointing manner, he pushed off the entrance frame, unfolding his arms from across his chest and proceeded to move near Reisuke. Taking to one knee, Ryūsuke gave a hand to the older Uchiha and smiled.

"Damn!" he yelped, nudging the lower half of his body so that his legs could fall back.

He'd cross his legs, and stare confusingly--mischievous grin across his face, arms crossed--at the waving and smiling Ryūsuke. He didn't exactly know what his brother wanted, but if it was what he thought, it would probably be to train. For him, it wasn't a day that his brother didn't want to train. It was admirable, but drove him insane. If it wasn't sex, drugs, or rock 'n' roll, he didn't wanna have anything to do with it.

"Let me guess, you wanna train?" he questioned, giving two thumbs up.

Ryūsuke simply smiled at his brother's perceptive sense of assumption. Only Reisuke would know that the young Uchiha had a determined mannerism that forbid his lacking. Nonetheless, one would be offended if simply asking for training was all the Uchiha asked of him. Taking back to his feet, Ryūsuke brushed off his knees, ridding the sallow white of his pants from the near imperceptible traces of dust that he accumulated from touching ends with his brother's dirty ground. Always gone on missions, Reisuke never found time to clean his room. Mother would be upset if she saw this, the younger Uchiha thought to himself as he finally remembered what he wanted.

"Yeah, lets train"

"Alrighty then," he said--eyes closed, Sharingan activated--and in an instant, he had his Tantō at Ryūsuke's neck, "Let's go!"

In that moment, Ryūsuke would find himself kicked in the stomach by Reisuke, who had begun the training him once he confirmed it. If Ryūsuke ever wanted himself to be considered a shinobi, he would have to think fast, and do the same. The world of shinobi wasn't about sitting around and waiting. It was about taking a chance when you had it, and it would so happen that Reisuke would take his. The training had begun. Hopefully, Ryūsuke was prepared.

Tantō

Tantō (短刀, Short Sword) is a weapon utilized by Reisuke. The length of the blade and scabbard is 30.5 cm (12 in), while the hilt is 15.2 cm (6 in). It is worn on his back, making it capable of being easily drawn during combat.

Sharingan

Sharingan (写輪眼, Copy Wheel Eye) is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any handseals.

Reisuke has fully awakened his Sharingan, having three tomoe in both eyes.
