Shinji watched from above, as Naoto fell for his distraction. But Naoto still had to deal with the raining metal from above. Shinji grinned.
"C'mon.... just use it already!"
Suddenly Naoto pulled out two kunai and his hands blurred. Multiple CLANG were the only sound that were heard as Naoto faced the onslaught. Shinji looked at him in disbelief. He had never doubted Naoto's skill. But for his plan to be dismantled in such a proficient manner. It was, in a word, unbelievable.
"Unless..."
Naoto fended of every kunai Shinji had sent at him. Shinji, was surprised at what Naoto did, and relieved at the same time that his cousin was not injured. But as Naoto finished his defense, his sercret could be seen. Shinji's crimson eyes met that of his cousin's. Naoto then slid back and launched a kunai at Shinji.
"Huh!"
Shinji flicked his wrist and his last kunai entered his hand. Reading the angle of thee kunai, Shinji had just enough time to block-
"!!"
Naoto had sent another kunai, but this one was not at Shinji, it was at the other kunai. The trajectory altered the kunai's angle before Shinji had time to block it. Shinji began to spin trying to avoid it, but it was too late. The kunai stabbed Shinji's stomach a bit above the belly button. It was futile to try and fight the Sharingan's precision. Especially from someone who was more advanced than himself, but it was worth the try.
"...Are you happy now?"
Luckily, Shinji managed to utter something before he fell from the sky as he chuckled.
"Yes."
Though the kunai hurt his side, Shinji tried to conceal it with his laughter, but it was a failed attempt. He grabbed his side as he came tumbling down from the sky into Naoto's arms. Shinji looked up as Naoto caught him and there it was. Naoto's own Sharingan.
"...So...how'd you know?"
Shinji smiled as he started to get up and pulled the kunai out of his side. A jolt of pain ran through his entire body as the kunai came out. It felt worse than when the kunai had actually struck him. Probably because of the adrenaline rush, but either way, it hurt like a bitch. But he somehow concealed it. Right now he was in front of Naoto, and he had just forced Naoto to show him his Sharingan.
He felt a sense of self-accomplishment and he didn't want to spoil the moment because of his excruciating pain. All he did was pull out some bandages and wrap it around his mid-torso, enough to cover the wound. While he did this, he looked up as he finally decided to answer Naoto's question.
"Well Naoto.... You're not much of a liar. At least not to me. And I don't need my Sharingan to tell me when you're lying... I can just tell."
As the seriousness left Shinji, so did his Sharingan. The fight was over with Naoto the winner of course, but Shinji accomplished his goal and he forced Naoto to use his Sharingan so that was enough for him. His bloodshot red eye returned to it's blue hue and all the tomoe disappeared. His happy-go-lucky side reappeared as a huge grin grew on his face.
"I'm getting better huh?"
Even though Shinji felt accomplished, it would mean nothing unless Naoto admitted it as well. If Naoto was satisfied with Shinji's performance, then Shinji would as well and he would rejoice. If not, it would be a gruesome day as Shinji would not take time to recover and would leave Naoto's residence to go train until he passed out. As stupid as it was, Shinji looked up Naoto and his thought meant everything to him, especially the ones that concerned himself.

Naoto frowned and lazily caught Shinji in one arm as if he were a parcel being dropped from above. He'd land himself a nice close up of his remorseful sharingan just like he'd wanted from the start. This is what happened when someone pushed him too far, they ended up getting themselves hurt. Then again perhaps the blame rested with him. If he'd had just shown the child the stupid dojutsu to begin with he wouldn't have to contend with a new puncture wound flowing agape in his torso. One that would eventually heal, though a wound nonetheless. He sighed and shook his head from side to side as he let Shinji down, stuffing his weapons back into their holsters and his hands back in his pants pockets.
"Well I don't like lying to you and I hope it's something I never HAVE to get better at."
He answered with a weak upward jolt of his shoulders that some would consider the most pathetic half-shrug ever gestured. His lips had puckered themselves down into a scowl that didn't show any signs of lifting.
"Tch!? And didn't I tell you not to get cocky? You didn't even hit me once!"
At first his tone with thick with disapproval and disappointment, though as a lull filled the conversation he couldn't help but crack a tiny smile from the corner of his mouth.
"Buuuuuuuuut...you didn't do too bad. You're an annoying guy to fight, I'll give you that much. Congrats on actually making me try near the end. No one's ever managed to make me do that before...it was...different."
He smirked and patted Shinji on the top of his head before forcefully grabbing him by the shirt collar, throwing him down on the ground, and looming over him with his sharingan now livid.
"And if you EVER tell ANYONE I have this then I'll cut you from your navel to your eyebrows, gut you like a fish, rip out your intestines, and eat it in front of your family. I'll hunt you down and I promise you the next time it won't be a kitchen knife...and I won't miss either. By the time I'm done with you you'll be a stain underneath my big black boots and smeared across the Uchiha clan compound."
He hissed violently then let go of Shiji's collar and deactivated his dojutsu. His face was bright and happy once again with a broad smile, the killing intent vanishing from his aura.
"...Kay? ♥"

As Naoto began to speak, Shinji started to gather his weapons and also put them into their respective places, whether it be in his sleeves or in his pouch. In response to Shinji's question, Naoto said that Shinji had accomplished a feat that no one else had and actually force Naoto to try and patted him on his head. That was good enough for Shinji. In Naoto's words, it meant he did good.
Suddenly, Naoto grabbed Shinji and slammed him on the ground. Shinji stared up at his cousin wondering what had come over him. His cousin then threatened him about revealing his secret of having unlocked the Sharingan. His cousin's threat was rather... descriptive. It was as if his cousin had actually devised a plan of how to deal with whoever revealed his secret.
As he finished talking, Shinji got up before the ground's moisture could seep through his pants.
"Now why would I go and do that?"
Shinji questioned Naoto's wavering faith. At moments, Naoto would trust Shinji with his life, and at others he was threatening Shinji's life to keep his mouth shut. Shinji had always remained loyal to Naoto, never slipping up on their secrets. Not even once. But for some reason Naoto felt like he need to reinforce their trust. Seconds later, Naoto left his demonic stage and returned to himself. And when Shinji saw it was safe, he spoke.
"And by the way Naoto... I wasn't trying to hit you... I was trying to make you use your Sharingan."
Shinji laughed as he winked and stuck his tongue out at Naoto. Then he quickly ran inside, out of Naoto's reach. He figured it'd be his best bet after teasing Naoto.
