Skills and Techniques
Name of Jutsu: Byakugan [white eye]
Rank of Jutsu: Unranked; Kekkei Genkai
Description of Jutsu:The Byakugan is the Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai of the Hyūga Ichizoku. It is one of the three great Dōjutsu, along with the Sharingan and the Rinnegan. Those who inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user’s pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. It also appears that unlike the other two Dōjutsu, all members of the clan possess and can use the Kekkei Genkai.
The first ability of this Dōjutsu grants the user a field of near 360 degrees vision (save for a tiny blind spot at the back of the neck [above the third thoracic vertebra]). The second allows for both penetrating and telescopic sight. However, the distance as well as the degree of telescopic vision granted vary from person to person, and can be improved upon. Lastly, the Byakugan is able to see chakra, its flow, and its circulatory system in great detail. This enables the Hyūga to utilize their most famed techniques such as the Jūken. The astounding abilities have left the Byakugan highly coveted by other villages.
Name of Jutsu: Hyūga Sōken no Jūinjutsu [Hyūga Main Family’s Cursed Seal Technique]
Rank of Jutsu: Unranked
Description of Jutsu:This is a seal given to all Branch House members of the Hūga family. It is placed on the wearer’s forehead when the next Main House member turns three years of age and is only removed upon death. The main purpose behind this technique is to seal the bearer’s Byakugan when they die, thus preventing its secrets from being spilled into the public. Its secondary purpose is to have absolute control over the Branch House’s members. This is done by performing a single hand seal that only the S&333;ke members know of. Upon performing this In, they can do destroy the wearer’s brain cells with an end that ranges from excruciating pains as punishment to instant death as a final form of atonement. Due to this seal’s nature and symbolic message, many branch house members keep their forehead covered. Ikki’s seal in particular is hidden underneath his many locks of golden hair.
Name of Jutsu: Jūken [Gentle Fist]
Rank of Jutsu: Unranked; Taijutsu Style
Description of Jutsu:The Jūken is a style of hand-to-hand combat that inflicts internal damage and disrupts the body’s chakra circulatory system. Ultimately, its aim is to damage internal organs (as they are intertwined with the chakra pathway) as well as inhibit the opponent’s use of chakra. To do this, the user surgically injects a small amount of their own chakra into the opponent’s chakra pathway system. This causes the targeted area to rupture or divert chakra flow. Since, realistically, there is little ways for one to strengthen their internal organs to sustain damage, this technique proves fatal no matter how physically powerful an opponent might be. Able to inflict massive damage with minimal force, the Gentle Fist is the most reputable and fearsome Taijutsu style known throughout Konohagakure no Sato.
Name of Jutsu: Limited Seal Knowledge
Rank of Jutsu: Unranked; Passive Skill
Description of Jutsu:A studious brat, his main focus of learning is based on seals. Aided and guided by the scrolls left to him by his mother, he tries his best to further his understanding of Fūinjutsu [sealing techniques] in the hopes that one day he would find a solution and be able to rid himself of the cursed seal placed upon him by his Main House clansmen. However, as the Genin that he is, his knowledge on the matter is incredibly limited. Currently, the basis of his research revolves around the standard weapon scrolls. Having gained a thorough understanding of them, he is able to take this sealing method and use it as he pleases. He is able to seal weapons into tattoos and almost tribal markings that he may place upon himself or other objects. Though, to perform the required rituals in sealing these weapons, a grand amount of time is consumed making it utterly impossible to use this knowledge in the midst of battle.
