What is the real difference between the three Puppet Techniques: White, Black, and Red? Been wondering this for quite some time and I've even tried to look into a bit all to no avail. As far as I could find out on my own, Red was Sasori's, Black was Kankuro's, and White was Chiyo's used in accordance with the Ten Puppet Collection of Chikamatsu.
So I was hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on my dim mind.

They're not really techniques unto themselves. It's more like a qualifier assorted puppeteers tack onto their techniques to make them distinctive. You could argue, however, that they foreshadow the intentions of the user, or at least some aspect of them.
White = Good Red = Blood Black = ... the color of Kankuro's clothing?

The real difference between them is who uses them. Kankuro uses Black Secret Technique. Sasori uses Red Secret Technique. THe color is a moniker used to identify who made the technique and/or who uses it.

Nothing. It's just a name. All we know is what they do. All else is speculation.
