[ INVENTORY ]
[Items marked with "*" are sealed inside of a scroll unless otherwise stated]
Item Name: Basic Shinobi Supplies Item Type: Common Item Description: An assortment of various ninja items consisting of kunai, shuriken, fuuma shuriken*, senbon, smoke bombs, exploding notes, weapon summoning scrolls, and blank scrolls hidden among his person.
Item Name: Medicinal Pouch Item Type: Common- Customized Item Description: Hidetoshi's medicinal pouch is a tad larger than most as it contains the basic array of items and thensome. Within it are the essentials. Bandages, healing salve, cloths, viles, and syringes. There is a hidden compartment within the pack that holds posions and antidotes, herbs, specialized weapons/equipment kept separately from his regular shinobi supplies and additional scrolls sealed with more of them; all apart from the rest.
Item Name: "Healing Tag" Item Type: Unique Item Description: A tag identical to an exploding note save for the kanji on it that reads "Heal." These customized tags are sealed with a small amount of Hidetoshi's healing chakra and are used by sticking it directly to the affected area. While this is a very crude application and is no substitute for proper medical jutsu it does allows the user to heal a specific area without an Iyronin being present. Using more than one proves to be dangerous as it can potentially overload the natural flow of a person and render them comatose. It is for this reason that only a bit of healing chakra is sealed within them; just enough to handle shallow wounds and make the tag idiotproof. Once the chakra is used up the seal vanishes from the tag. Hideotshi commonly gives these to allies. Activated by one handsign.
[ JUTSU ]
[ KEKKEI GENKAI ] Name of Jutsu: Shidegan [The Ghastly Eye] Rank of Jutsu: N/A Description of Jutsu: The Shidegan is a legendary dojutsu presumed to be extinct that originally belonged to the Onibi Clan, an infamous family of assassins. It is rumored to be the eyes of Shinigami himself manifested into the mortal world, however such claims are likely the product of exaggerated folklore. The dojutsu lets the user see the three basic things which are needed for life to exist. Their physical bodies [muscles, organs, etc], the energies which allow that let body to function [chakra], and the otherworldly substance which tethers them to the Earth [their own life force]. This much clarity of sight is not instantaneous however. The dojutsu itself advances through three stages of evolution as the user themselves grow in skill characterized by a change in eye color. Because of the broad abilities of the Shidegan the user can only view one portion, one stage at a time, ensuring they do not suffer from sensory overload. They may switch between them at will without any effort in the literal blink of the eye. When activated aside from eye color change the eyes gain a complex mosaic pattern around the pupil.
- The Body Stage: Red
The first stage of the dojutsu and the only one usable when the user first unlocks it. The Shidegan must be unlocked in training that pushes themselves beyond a certain limit that manifests itself gradually over the course of it. Which is why the first stage is called the body stage. As, when activated, it allows the user to see the person before them as if their skin had been removed. Muscles, bones, blood, and vital organs are visible to the user and can be targeted directly for an accurate assault on their innards via a technique or a plain style of taijutsu. Any abnormal substances in the body, especially poisons, can be readily seen as they are picked up by the eyes as a murky green substance. Physical abnormalities are also able to be quickly identified and potentially exploited by the user. This stage allows the user to easily discern the difference between a bushin of any sort and a real person as a bushin would not have muscles or the like. When this stage of the dojutsu is used the eyes turn a deep red and gain a complex mosaic pattern. That red symbolizes blood, the basic makeup of the human body in relation to the body stage.
- The Spiritual Stage: Blue
The second stage of the Shidegan attained through training with the first. Yet its unlocked in an epiphany of sorts, a sudden realization transcending beyond the means of the human body: a deeper understanding of something about themselves as a person that cannot be attained through any of the five senses but a soul searching of sorts. This stage grants the user the sight of energies within the body of a living thing, be it limited to chakra, to beings that for one reason or another would possess another energy inside of them entirely. While chakra is being manipulated for elemental techniques, the Shidegan is able to discern what nature of the jutsu that is being utilized is by actually interpreting the chakra being formed as a different color associated with a certain style. Red for katon, grey for futon, yellow for raiton, brown for doton, purple for Suiton, and for a foreign release that is not typical of the five elements: black. The Shidegan is not as perceptive as the Byakugan however in the sense that while it can see chakra inside of a person, the tenketsu are not visible to them. Rather it merely sees the presence of chakra in and out of the body. This does grant the user a greater mastery and control over their own chakra supply.
A second ability granted in this stage is to be able to see through illusions to a limited degree. While the eyes cannot directly penetrate genjutsu, they do retain all of their abilities and can see things that would be visible to them outside of the illusion- such as the chakra of their foe. A skilled user may cause the intricate pattern their activated Shidegan takes in this stage to spin rapidly to create a hypnotic effect via prolonged eye contact. When this stage of the dojutsu is used the eyes turn a rich shade of blue and gain a complex mosaic pattern around the pupil. This blue symbolizes chakra, the combination of the two energies essential for life in relation to the spiritual stage.
- The End Stage: Purple
The final stage of the Shidegan attained through complete mastery of the first two and a traumatizing near death experience. It is called the end stage because it grants sight of the person's very soul as well as their life force, the two things that would end the life of a victim if they were to be taken. Unlike other forms this in itself does nothing but grant sight. What the user does with this sight is a separate ability entirely. When this stage of the dojutsu is used the eyes turn an exotic shade of purple and gain a complex mosaic pattern. This purple symbolizes the mastery of and harmony of the first two stages by blending both the respective eye colors together to make purple. It represents the wholeness of one's soul once the body and the spirit have been trained to the epitome.
The Shidegan does not grant any latent exceptional abilities nor does it possess any secondary mutations. However it does give one unique attribute: it can never be "taken" from the wielder or replicated. When a user is incapacitate or deactivates the dojutsu for any length of time, it is inaccessible to anyone else. The eyes react to only the specific signals from their chakra and dna. It is usable by the blood descendants of the Onibi Clan alone. Upon death the eyes on the body of the person will lose the Shidegan ensuring its secrets could never be uncovered.
[ NINJUTSU ] Name of Jutsu: Chakra Sensing Technique Rank of Jutsu: Unranked Description of Jutsu: This technique is used by sensors to detect someone's chakra. Using this jutsu, sensors can tell when enemies are approaching, and can easily track down targets. The range of this jutsu varies between sensors.
Name of Jutsu: Shousen no Jutsu [Mystical Palm Technique] Rank of Jutsu: A Description of Jutsu: This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it highly useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. By sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's body, the user can overload the patient's normal circulation, trapping them in a comatose state.
Name of Jutsu: Saikan Chūshutsu no Jutsu [Delicate Illness Extraction Technique] Rank of Jutsu: B Description of Jutsu: When a person has been afflicted by a pathogen or toxin, this medical ninjutsu can be used to draw out the agent and heal the damage. The cause of the illness is first determined by perceiving disturbances in the patient's chakra. Then, using a Chakra Scalpel, an incision is made near the affected part. Using their chakra, the medical-nin pushes a large volume of a medicinal fluid through the incision. The fluid then draws the poison out of the affected part(s) and serves as a medium through which the poison is suspended and then forced out of the person's body. This technique thus removes the poison, while simultaneously repairing the damage caused by the poison.
After the agent is drawn out, it can be used to create an antidote or medicine after it has been analyzed. This can then be given to the patient to ensure a complete recovery. This technique requires the utmost care and ability in diagnosis, incising and unmatched chakra control. Therefore, it is considered an extremely difficult technique, even among medical ninjutsu.
Name of Jutsu: Chakra no Mesu [Chakra Scalpel] Rank of Jutsu: Unknown Description of jutsu: Chakra no Mesu is a special Ninjutsu technique used by medical ninjas. After forming the needed handseals, the ninja will focus chakra to their hands. When their charged hands reach the body of their target, they can extend the chakra internally into the targets body to cut and neatly slice their muscles and blood vessels without harming the surface skin. This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Damage can still be done to the vital organs, but the technique should be used carefully in battle.
