MOUNTAIN GORILLA NINJA
The clan of Nintengorira residing in Kaminari has gone through the years in secrecy, hardly ever receiving mention in the history books. As old as Kumogakure, the group made permanent residence on Puraimaruzan. It is unknown how the elders of the clan managed to find out how to use chakra, however they passed down their skill through the generations. Specifically, the art of Kenjutsu was required to be learned by all male gorillas. With the women being more purposed for the families and tending to the area, the men trained to become warriors. The clan has pledged allegiance to Kumogakure, but they rarely interact with the village. They are extremely territorial, as was most evident when the sent a large force to supplement a Kumogakure force in the First Shinobi War, effectively helping them keep their country. They do not tolerate visitors that do not reign from Kumogakure, and even then they discourage interaction.
A naturally prideful race, the Nintengorira refuse to consider themselves subservient to anyone. As such, they rarely offer their soldiers as summons for other shinobi. They have known to have four summoners in their long history, one having the contract withdrawn due to summoning the gorillas into a place of guaranteed death, another having his contract withdrawn due to summoning gorilla outside of Kaminari, the third having died in battle, and the fourth being Kaito. Despite only having four summoners, there have been nearly twenty attempts to master the beasts. In order to have the Nintengorira sign the contract, a shinobi must live amongst the gorillas for a month, living their ways. After a month, a gorilla will volunteer himself to be the primary summon of the shinobi. In order to finalize the deal, the shinobi must defeat the gorilla in combat. Once defeated, this primary summon becomes as subservient as any Nintengorira, viewing their summoner as a superior.
The group has revered their eldest member, however after the start of the Second Shinobi War and after a thousand years of life, the great gorilla fell. His son, several hundred years his inferior, was forced unprepared into the leadership position. The group is known to have had over one hundred battle ready male gorillas, nearly all of which have been available for summoning.

PRIMAL MOUNTAIN
The Nintengorira originate from Puraimaruzan, a densely forested mountain. Out of a sense of pride, the gorillas made their mark by spending years destroying and shaping the mountain to finally resemble a gorilla's head. The mountain is found far to the northeast of Kumogakure, obscured by some of the tallest mountains in the country. History books vary on the majestic mountain, but most seem to agree that it was built at the same time as Kumogakure. The mountain was specifically chosen due to being the birthplace of the most elder gorilla of the large group. Given its natural protection in the shadows of a quickly growing shinobi village, the gorillas grew strong in number. Most members of the clan reside in the forests in the lower portion of the mountain, while a series of pathways that make up the mountain's ear go up to the top. The women of the clan exclusively give birth in the cut out eye sockets of the mountain. Once the male children reach a certain age they are taken to the top of the mountain and fight to prove their worth. It is at this point that the gorillas are given a name.

SILVER FLASH GORILLA
Shikorira was born as the only son of the great gorilla elder. At one hundred years of age, the gorilla is considered to be in the prime of his life. For many years he volunteered himself to the trials of those wishing to obtain the summoning contract, always defeating his opponent. When he was young he was given the trial to become recognized as an adult, in which he amazed his elders with his swordsmanship. The skill, along with his prematurely silver back, earned him his name, which has been spoken since with the utmost respect. Just years before the Second Shinobi War, he was bested by Kaito, becoming his personal summon. For the next few years the two grew close, as Kaito showed an unnatural friendliness with the gorilla. Instead of the acting with either great respect or great superiority as past summoners had, Kaito treated the gorilla like an equal. After the death of his father shortly following the Second Shinobi War, Shikorira was forced into the leadership of the clan. The second leader of the clan after his father's thousand year reign, Shikorira was quick to acknowledge his lack of qualifications for the task. As such, he maintained his leadership role while giving other members power in the clan to ease his own burden. Shikorira is the most powerful of the gorilla, having never lost a sword-to-sword battle in his long life. His amazing speed and strength make him revered, and easily the most known of the Nintengorira. Despite his power, he is relatively moderately sized at seven feet tall and a few hundred pounds.

BRUTE GORILLA
Kemorira is the former summon of the third summoner. His contract with the man was voided when the man summoned a large number of gorilla forces to an overwhelming battle. Of the group, only Kemorira and the summoner made it out of the conflict alive. His name comes from his size and power. Towering over trees even while on all fours, Kemorira weighs tons of pounds, capable of translating his size into delivering extremely strong attacks. Notably, he wears a helmet with horns on it that he uses to ram opponents. He also carries a large double sided battle axe, capable of demolishing defenses. He is hardly fifty years old, a relative child amongst his clanmates. He is also decidedly dumb.

MONSTER GORILLA
The first summoner of the Nintengorira was granted the personal summon of Kairira. It was no coincidence that he was also the only one to be outlived by his contract. An uncontrollable beast of rage, Kairira has no sense of friend or foe. He is several times the size of any of his brethren, with not a single tree in Kaminari being taller than him when he is on all fours. On his hind legs, Kairira is a marvel. The only known defeat Kairira has ever experienced was to the founder of the Nintengorira. Since then, he has been kept in a large valley with traps set up to drive the brainless beast back into confinement. It is strictly forbidden to summon the gorilla, with the consequence being termination of the summoning contract.

ARROGANT GORILLA
Kyorira was the personal summon to the second summoner. Highly regarded for his skills in Kenjutsu, Kyorira is similar to a light version of Shikorira. Unlike the leader, however, Kyorira is a prideful bastard of a gorilla. Despite his requirements to answer the call of summoning, he never manages to refrain from feeling insulted by being beckoned by someone else. At about a hundred years old, Kyorira is regarded as one of the most powerful gorillas behind Shikorira and Kyorira. He towers at ten feet tall, and is extremely toned and muscular.

TINY GORILLA
Kogarira is one of the most recent additions to the adult population of the Nintengorira. At a remarkably young twenty years of age, Kogarira passed his test at the same time as the end of the Second Shinobi War. Earning his name for being small, many of the clan make jokes about him being more akin to a chimpanzee than a gorilla. At four feet tall standing on his hind legs, Kogarira wields two swords with stunning speed. The child of a monkey is rather immature, making him a personal favorite of Kaito's.

SILENT GORILLA
At a monstrous twelve feet tall and several hundred pounds heavy, the seventy year old Shinkarira is regarded as one of the five strongest gorillas in his clan. Unlike nearly all other of age gorillas, Shinkarira has never spoken before. Despite this, he has displayed marvelous strength with his use of a large cleaver-type axe. Through his quiet nature he has maintained a rivalry with Kyorira, the elder gorilla claiming that only the weak do not have something to say. The strongest of all gorillas to not have ever been a personal summon, it is reputed that Shinkarira is looking for a challenger.
