Ruling Template and Procedure.
A ruling is the process in which something happens in RP, whether it’s disputing the actions of another in combat, the judgment on a technique, or a miscellaneous request where the insight of a staff member is needed. These are to be used when the opinion of a staff member is vital and an agreement cannot be reach. As such, this is not to be used for every occurrence where a dispute surfaces.
Please try to negotiate with the opposing part before you request a ruling and try to come to a consensus. If something mutual cannot be settled on, then feel free to make a request, though we ask you have a snippet of proof that there was an attempt to bridge concerns.
Once a ruling is given, that ruling stands. There will be not any back and forth between the staff member after this ruling is given. Once can seek an appeal only when they’ve been able to convince two other members that there was a mistake or oversight.
