We're going to be running rulings a little different just in hopes of cutting back on clutter and providing an environment that encourages the members to settle disputes before getting a ruling about every little matter. That being said, please make sure you follow the protocol below before you come to this board and make a ruling or an appeal:
1. Please have a conversation with the opposing party before you make a ruling. This means either going to an IM and discussing the matter of having back and forth PMs with that given person. If the two of you can come to a consensus without getting a ruling, that's great, and actually the whole objective of this new system. Continue doing what you were doing and quit this page.
However, if you and the opposite party cannot come to a result that is satisfactory to both of you, then please come an request a ruling. We'll need proof that you had this conversation, so either paste it into the ruling or PM it to the primary ruling staff, who is Russki.
2. The ruling staff will pass their decision in a timely manner and the ruling which is given stands. One cannot seek an appeal unless they can convince at least two other staff members that some mistake has been make, and therefore, an appeal is warranted. If no two staff members agree to it, then no appeal can be requested.
If you had any questions, feel free to ask them.
