By channeling their chakra into the earth or their personal jewels, they can increase the pressure and change the shape of the earth as to produce jewels to their liking. Once a Shinabe trainee is introduced to their magatama, they undergo a period in which the jewels much acclimate to the feel of their chakra. Based on how in-tune the gem and the Shinabe trainee become the more control they will have over the gem's composition and properties, including the size, density. Masters of Tamasuri can merge their jewels into their own bodies, mend them when broken and move them at such great speeds that they are blinding. Being an intermediately advanced member of Appaku, Mugetsu is adequately capable of controlling his jewels and can even channel his chakra through it to achieve certain goals. He still has some time to go before he and his jewels are completely in-tuned that he could merge it with himself and mend them any considerable amount once they break. SŌSHURIKEN NO JUTSU ■ CONTROL SHURIKEN TECHNIQUE ■ 操手裏剣の術 ■ D With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite. Mugetsu has devised a method of using this technique in conjunction with his Magatama. By using Magatama Shuriken in place of normal ones, he can change the shape of the Magatama mid-throw so that while one might dodge a shuriken the first time, a much large or different tool comes back when Mugetsu adjusts his hold on the strings. This variation is called Kagetama no Jutsu (Shadow Jewel Technique). TAWAMI NO JUTSU ■ DEFLECTION TECHNIQUE ■ 撓の術 ■ D This shurikenjutsu is only possible due to Mugetsu's superb ability in the field. By being carefully able to calculate shuriken or kunai trajectories on the fly, Mugetsu is capable of throwing a secondary projectile which hits the primary in such a way as to alter its path, often times in the direction of his target. This allows him to confuse his opponent by making them think he is aiming one place while he is actually intending to hit another. |
