"I don't need anyone," he told himself as he sat in the middle of the wilderness. This is where he came when he felt the madness was about to take over, he isolated himself somewhere where he couldn't hurt others.
"They'll just hold me back. They won't understand..." towering over, his hands crossed over his chest clenching onto each of his biceps as red flame-like marks assimilated and spread across his body before turning black. "THEY'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND--!!"
"Huh?" he moaned, sitting up slowly began to look around the room from the small bed he was resting on. "Where am I?" he asked, swinging his legs over the side of the bed, attempting to get up he was stopped by a soft hand.
"Hey, take an easy there." the girl ordered with a firm look fixed upon her youthful face, "You're at my cabin by the bay, I found you back in the forest over there a couple hours ago and brought you here."
"Wait..." Inari said standing from the bed and swift scurrying across the room. He was confused, this wasn't making sense. So many questions were running through his mind, but the most prominent one was 'how did she find me?'
"Who are you?" asked Inari, surveying the room once more he couldn't find anything that would allow him to identify her as a shinobi, or a hostile, which meant she must've been a civilian.
"Oh, um! Sorry! I forgot to introduce myself!" she said frantically, as if in a panic. "I'm Kagome! And you're Tenchi Inari. Nice to meet you!" she spoke hurriedly, sticking her hand out instantaneously as her eyes buckled tightly.
"It's okay, really." He tied to comfort her, but with her eyes shut it was kind of hard to see how successful that was. Leaning forward and accepting her hand with his eyes narrowing as he smiled, albeit covered by his mask. "Nice to meet you, Kagome."

flash forward | SIX HOURS LATER
"Um, hello?" An angelic voice called to him as his blurred vision began to sharpen. Opening his eyes fully the first thing he saw was a beautiful, brown haired girl standing over him with a damp rag in her hand and a pail of water siting beside her."Huh?" he moaned, sitting up slowly began to look around the room from the small bed he was resting on. "Where am I?" he asked, swinging his legs over the side of the bed, attempting to get up he was stopped by a soft hand.
