KUMONOSU NO KUNI 「蜘蛛の巣の術」 No Rank | Supplementary Land of Spiderwebs is special technique branded on those deemed worthy by the Spider Boss, Tsuchigumo. Like the Aburame's bodies are sacrificed as nests for the Kikaichu, Susumu's body is a nest for spiders that feed off of his chakra. The primary use for this is to make use of the spiders' unique attributes, which exist in their venom and webbing. Additionally, he has obtained spinnerets on the palms of his hands.
SUMMONING TECHNIQUE | C Rank | Supplementary The Summoning Technique is a space–time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances instantly. Ono Susumu holds the contract with spiders. These spiders vary in size, and can range from normal to gigantic (the size of an eight story building). To Susumu's knowledge, there is no Spider Sage. There is, however, a Spider Boss named Tsuchigumo with whom Susumu shares a friendly relationship. Tsuchigumo a considerable user of Genjutsu and a master of Yin Release.
FALSE SURROUNDINGS | C Rank | Supplementary A genjutsu that allows one to trick others into mistaking the place they're in for another. This technique's main feature is that it can be cast over an extensive surface, therefore any and all who step into the illusion's area of effect will fall under the spell. That said, it might not work so well on people who are well-versed or otherwise skilled in genjutsu.
SLY MIND AFFECT | C Rank | Supplementary This technique allows the user to change the enemies sense of direction as they see fit. When this technique was evoked, the enemy was forced to walk around continuously in circles by making it seem as if they're walking straight to their desired destination.
SUMMONING: WEB CANNON | C Rank | Offensive Using the summoning technique, Susumu summons a ball of webbing from his spider summons that hurl toward the target. He is able to project the ball of webbing from either of his hands by clapping them together after completing the hand seals, instead of slapping the floor or some other object.
TREE BINDING DEATH | B Rank | Supplementary This is one of the genjutsu passed down since ancient times in Konohagakure. The user first disappears from plain sight in a mist-like fashion in order to approach the target without being detected. Once close enough, the target will then be completely robbed of their mobility as they see the mirage of a fast-growing tree coiling itself around them. Given that the subject remains conscious, this technique proves extremely efficient for information-gathering. Once the target is immobile, the user can then attack the enemy, usually after emerging from the trunk of the tree.
STEALTH MODE | A Rank | Supplementary This technique was developed by Ono Susumu. Upon casting this technique, he can render himself and any other person completely undetectable through the five senses. This is a great technique for stealth and infiltration, though it can be foiled by sensors and other such people who can detect genjutsu.
TEMPLE OF NIRVANA | A Rank | Supplementary It is a powerful genjutsu that generates a fluttering rain of sleep-inducing, illusory white feathers. Whomever sees them as they fall, piling up and covering the whole target area, will experience Eden-like bliss and fall into a state of tranquil slumber. No matter how much one resists the hypnotic spell, the desire to sleep is instinctive, and there's no fighting it. However, an experienced shinobi will be able to dispel the genjutsu before it takes effect.
BRINGER OF DARKNESS | A Rank | Supplementary This technique exerts an hallucinatory effect upon the eyesight, effectively blinding the opponent. No matter how skilled an opponent may be, they are forced to wait helpless in this world of darkness, as this technique allows the user to attack unseen. Although it negates sight, it does not stop the other senses.
TIME REVERSAL | Unranked | Supplementary This technique puts the target in a state of reverse hypnosis, allowing them to remember details that they otherwise would not. The target will comply with interrogation, but seems to retain his or her personality while under hypnosis.
MENTAL BARRICADES | Unranked | Supplementary The user can use this technique to place mental blocks in the target's mind that contains valuable information in case the one with the information is captured and interrogated. The barricades look like stylized traditional Japanese sliding doors.
SPIDER TRANSFORMATION | C Rank | Supplementary This is a technique taught to Ono Susumu by Tsuchigumo. It is the ability to transform other living beings into spiders. This ability requires physical contact with the forehead of the target. Creatures belonging to other summoning contracts cannot be affected by this technique. Some individual humans have shown an immunity to the technique based off of a large supply of chakra. The transformation has a set time limit to half an hour.
WEBBING WHATEVER | No Rank | Supplementary Susumu uses the spiders inhabiting his body to produce webbing that is extremely sticky, yet durable and stretchy, and cannot be cut with normals tools such as kunai. This webbing can be projected long distances. What's more, Susumu is experienced enough in wielding the webbing that he can give form to it as it projects from the spinnerets. He can cast it out as a net of webbing, or straight forward in a more string-like fashion.
DAI GUMOMAHI「大グモ麻痺」 No Rank | Supplementary Great Spider Paralysis is a hallucination caused by the venom of the spiders living within his own body (or the venom of a spider summoned with the Summoning Technique). When a target is bitten by a spider, the venom causes hallucinations in the victim and makes it increasingly difficult to discern illusion from reality. It provides an edge for Genjutsu to be cast without the target being immediately aware, or even aware at all. While this is not a technique in an of itself, a name was fashioned for it to strike fear into the enemies of the Ninja Spiders.
CRAWLING NIGHTMARE | B Rank | Supplementary A genjutsu that causes the victim to experience spiders coming from all directions and crawling all over their body. The spiders cover their eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, and crawl into their body. The illusory spiders crawling down the victim's throat, needless to say, tricks the brain into feeling like the body is being choked.
CHAKRA SIPHON | B Rank | Supplementary Once Susumu's spiders get into another person's body, which they have the habit of doing, they immediately begin to feed off of that person's chakra at an alarming rate. While they moderate their appetite in Susumu, they pig out in the victim.
