The first of the Yoippari was sprung into existence when the kami, Futsunushi, finished crafting a sword he was tasked to give to Amaterasu-ōmikami. The blade was so pristine, the steel of its form so pure and unadulterated, that it cut through the impurities of time and space and sprung forth a creature of such beauty that Futsunushi adopted it as his own.
Futsunushi taught the man his godly craft while he still remained on Takama-ga-hara (The Plain of High Heaven) (高天原), only relinquishing him from his elevated realm when he believed his ability to forge weapons rivaled his own. Futsunushi plucked the man by his nose and placed him down onto the highest peak in the world in the silence of the night and requested that he stand vigil over his head Katori shrine in the mountains of the land that would become Kaminari no Kuni. His vigil would begin that night and continue until the end of days and so did the man receive his name, Yoippari, for he watched in the night.
The heavenly descended clan assumed the duties of their patriarch and prospered, standing vigil over the Katori shrine as swordsmen. From the inner sanctum of the shrine was Futsunushi's own anvil, atop of which, the Yoippari smiths crafted swords of such pristine quality that the amount of money their patrons would submit to them in exchange for one would rob one of their hearing.
As the ages passed, the Yoippari clan continued to thrive and prosper, gaining considerable influence in the age, even said to have a number of Daimyō in their pockets.
The Yoippari were at the height of their influence prior to the emergence of the Rikudō Sennin. However, following his teachings of Ninjutsu reaching their domain, there would be a considerable amount of discourse within the clan concerning whether or not they would adop the new teachings or stay swordsmen, true to their roots. The younger clansmen were in favor of the adoption of the resolution, agreeing that it was only by staying abreast with the ways of the combat in their time could they adequately stand their vigil. The elders felt a stronger tie to their roots and believed that the adoption of these new ways would damage their credibility with their heavenly ancestor. It was only after the younger generation came to power and the older one died out that the entire clan adopted Ninjutsu.
Their newly found ability to manipulate chakra intermingled with the divinity living in their blood. This intermingling produced in them a chakra special to all those within their bloodlines which would physically manifest itself in their physical anomalies within their brains and bodies. Their Kekkei Genkai developed in this way.
In terms of reputation and might they gained following the change in their clan, they were highly respected, considered noble and thought to rival such clans in like esteem of the nations, even the Uchiha and the Raikage's former clan, both of which they'd met in battle on multiple occasions. Being that the Yotsuki specialized in swordsmanship and the Yoippari had been smiths in their pasts, they retained a blossoming relationship, making them allies for centuries.
When the Daimyō charged his senior retainer with the formation of Kumogakure, the Yoippari was among one of the first clans to be contacted with terms of an alliance. They joined immediately, knowing that refraining from joining the village would inevitably lead to their extinction.
The early years of the village were chaotic as the Yoippari were called upon by the Raikage and his clan to fight many other clans, including some of the seven Idai Chōjō (Great Peaks) (偉大頂上). They stayed true to their calling and their Raikage however, and with the help of the Yoippari and the other clans that allied early with the village united most of Kaminari no Kuni, the clans that remained outside falling into obscurity or becoming extinct altogether.
Despite their allegiance to the Hidden Cloud, the Yoippari has many holdings throughout the Lightning Country, including the Katori Shrine, located in the far north of the nation.
The clan would play a major role in intelligence gathering throughout the history of the village and would do so even in the Fourth Great Shinobi War. After the war, they would gain notable attention when the clans began to stir concerning the Raikage's supposed expanding power. To neutralize the threat that all of the great clans would break out in revolt, the Raikage, A, approached the clan leader, Yoippari Ōsametō, with a proposition. The joining of their houses, as the clans did many times in the centuries before the villages. Seeing the potential for power, Ōsametō offered his daughter to A's son and thus their houses were joined. In allying with the Yoippari, the Raikage also secured the Yotsuki and the threat was temporarily extinguished.
Ōsametō died about a decade after and was replaced as the leader of the clan by Yoippari ____, the 329th leader, his second eldest child passed his daughter.
Since A's passing, the Yoippari has been elevated to being one of the two clans which shared parentage over the position of Raikage, a position previously exclusive to the bloodline of the Raikage. Since they now hold rights over the maternal line, they have gained notable attention from the Daimyō, and with that great riches and regard as they once knew before the villages existed, when they served as his retainers for some years.

AOGAN ■ GREEN EYE ■ 青眼 ■ UNRANKED The Aogan, the kekkei genkai of the Yoippari Ichizoku has been hailed through the ages, known along with four other kekkei genkai as one of the Daigogyō Dōjutsu (Great Five Elemental Eye Techniques) of the ancient ninja world. The primary name of the technique comes from the green hue which comes with the activation of the eye; in some circles, the eye is called Shinrigan (psychological eye), a testament to one of the most famous of the eye's multiple techniques.
The kekkei genkai itself isn't actually in the eyes, and instead, the Aogan is simply a manifestation of a larger kekkei genkai. Those born with the Aogan feature a number of neurological abnormalities including specialized photosensory neurons, an extra nucleus in the motor cortex, cerebellum and specialized electrosensory somatic neurons throughout their bodies.
Aogan's first and most pronounced ability is the ability to view the nervous system in its entirety. The Aogan allows the user a selective view where they can see any given unit of the nervous system; they have the ability to view the chemical processes of the system in the nerves and the brain allowing them a myriad of abilities if trained to use them. This ability pronounces itself the most in the ability of the Aogan wielder to predict an action that a given person will perform by reading their action potentials or reading their cortical communications and modulations to predict motor output.
The second ability of the Aogan stems from the extra somatic neurons which specialize in electroreception. These neurons are highly specialized and specific and provide the user of the Aogan a sixth sense of electrolocation. By sensing the electrical impulses which stimulate muscle twitch, the Aogan user is capable of sensory. These neurons emit a small amount of chakra constantly and when trained can extend from the basic five meters to a higher twenty meters.
The Aogan has one final ability, the most well known of all its abilities; this final ability is the reason for it's colloquial name. The Aogan user has the ability to employ a unique form of hypnotism based around the eye's ability to peer into the nervous systems. Using this hypnotism, the user of the Aogan can do anything from commanding the movements of their targets or peering into their memories. Much like the electrosensory ability, this hypnotism can be honed to perfection.
MAMETSU ■ NERVE CRUSHING ■ 摩滅 ■ UNRANKED The Yoippari has a select number of shinobi capable of performing a special sort of taijutsu which utilizes the Aogan's ability to view nerves and knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurology. By utilizing chakra to alter the chemistry of the different neurons, the shinobi is then capable of highly impairing the motor or sensory function of their opponent.
The Mametsu resolves around two abilities: one, stopping nerve function. Utilizing chakra, the Mametsu allows its user to momentarily stop a neuron from performing it's primary function. Therefore, one can kill all or some sensory function from the shoulder or motor function to the shoulder by striking a number of neurons in that area.
The second ability revolves around increasing nerve function. This is useful in striking motor neurons and causing them to overstimulate their associated muscle units causing uncontrollable movements.
Though the effects of the Mametsu can last a maximum of five seconds, they produce adequate openings so that the user can take advantage of to end battles quickly. Proficient users of this technique are known for ending fights extremely quickly because they rob one of their ability to understand and utilize their own bodies.
HIGAMIGOKORO ■ WARPED MIND ■ 僻心 ■ UNRANKED Higamigokoro is a hypnotic ninjutsu relying on the Aogan's ability to hypnotize it's opponents. This technique is used after establishing eye contact with the intended target; the user creates an impulse of chakra establishing a link to the target's brain. By utilizing this chakra link, the user of this technique is capable of stopping actions potentials that already exist and creating new ones in another person's body. Typically, people are unable to resist the hypnotic effects of this hiden, however, people of particularly high will power are capable of dispelling this technique. TO LIMIT THE ABUSE OF THESE TECHNIQUES, HIGAMIGOKORO IS LIMITED TO CHARACTERS WHO SPECIALIZE EXCLUSIVELY IN THE AOGAN. THE PRESENCE OF ANY TECHNIQUES OUTSIDE OF THE YOIPPARI REPERTOIRE EXCLUDES THE CHARACTER FROM THIS TECHNIQUE AND ANY OFFSHOOTS OF IT.
NŌSEIATSU ■ BRAIN SUPREMACY ■ 脳制圧 ■ UNRANKED Nōseiatsu is a hypnotic ninjutsu relying on the Aogan's ability to hypnotize it's opponents. This technique is used after establishing eye contact with the intended target; the user creates an impulse of chakra establishing a link to the target's brain. By utilizing this chakra link, the user of this technique is capable of analyzing brain waves and peering into the brain. This can be used to do anything from see intricate thoughts to reading into memories.
While this technique can produce valuable information, it is not without it's flaws. If rushed, the information obtained from this technique can prove to be faulty, and in some cases, the wrong information can be pulled if the target thinks of a lie which is hastily pulled as truth by the user. Like all hypnotic techniques associated with the Aogan, the techniques hypnotic effects can be nullified by individuals of particularly strong will.
