Cloud Style Cloud Style is the name of a highly versatile Kenjutsu style which calls Kumogakure home. The techniques of Cloud Style are versatile in that they can utilize any of the five chakra natures in addition to being an incredibly deadly form of Kenjutsu in its own right. Practitioners of the skill are known for the exceptional strength and speed they exhibit in their swings, so powerful that they throw their enemies off balance with every strike.
Cloud-Style Crescent Moon Beheading The user swings their sword in a single, large, crescent moon-shaped arc, which occurs with such ferocious velocity that the technique can be employed in situations where only a very limited time to react is available. The swing can be used to counter attacks from multiple opponents simultaneously.
Incorporating lightning element allows for a shocking capacity in anything hit; the fire element will cause a crescent of fire to follow in the wake of the sword; wind will cause a great gust to follow the wake of the blade, repelling lesser projectiles and enemies; the earth element will harden the blade allowing it to cut through harder material; the water element will cause a cohesive effect in the blood of anyone sliced so that the blade draws more blood from its enemy.
Cloud-Style Deception Beheading Using the Body Replacement Technique to feign being attacked, the user takes advantage of their opponent's momentary shock, and charges forward with a lateral sword slash.

Cloud-Style Reverse Beheading The user does a powerful spin, generating the momentum needed to slash at any opponents behind them. The user can also utilise this spinning motion to trick an enemy that's in front of them. The enemy is fooled into thinking the user will attack them, but instead the user attacks the targets behind the user.

Cloud-Style Sweeping Hawk The user will perform a powerful downward strike while approaching the target from the air. The increased momentum of the fall increases the power behind their strike allowing them to break through the defenses of their opponents and lose little power when struck on the way down.
Incorporating the lightning element causes intense vibrations in the sword which allows the blade to cut through defenses even easier and when it comes into contact with opponents temporarily paralyzes them; the fire element causes a flare of flames to follow in the sword's wake; the wind element will release a sharp cutting edge of wind which surrounds the blade, increasing the cutting potential akin to lighting; earth hardens the metal to increase the power behind the strike; water produces the cohesion effect which draws more blood from struck opponents.
Cloud-Style Heavenfall The user stabs down into his target or the earth with his sword with enough power to stab straight through the opponent or deep into the earth. This technique when used on the opponent tends to end the encounter while when used in the earth will produce radial effects.
Incorporating the lightning element in the earth will play on the weakness of earth to lightning and lightning will surge through the earth to shock those within five meters of the impact site; the fire element will cause the earth to heat to intense temperatures that melt sandals into place and cause reflexive drawback from the head; water will cause the earth to turn into mud which those within five meters will sink into; the wind element will cause a radial blast of wind which pushes those surrounding the impact site back; the earth element will cause the earth to crack, churn and quake causing those within range to lose their balance.
