Ryuze would be fine as long as she didn't have to see that creepy bird again. That was about the only thing she was dreading from this meeting of village leaders, even so much as letting Sio lead the way a bit. Her rationale was that if the bird did return, Sio could...I don't know...swat it down or something. Maybe catch it in a bag and fling it against a brick wall.
Approaching the massive wall, Ryuze could smell the multiple shinobi stationed around it. Approaching the station, she extracted her shinobi ID and set it down on the counter. "Wani Ryuze, leader of Amegakure checking in. I received a request for an audience with Lady Subori." Sio remained silent, standing next to Ryuze. Her Amegakure band was tucked into her scarf, her uniform changed a bit from that which she wore in Konoha. Black pants, a thin black flak vest with a brown jacket underneath. An emblem was stitched on the shoulders, reminiscent of her new position under Ryuze. And two umbrellas were strapped to her back.

| One of the ANBU on duty at the station house made a move for the ID she left on the table. His hand was intercepted by another, the hand of an ANBU who wore a cloth over his face. This was a tall man with a slender figure. He seemed to possess an intimidating appearance. His tattered cloak and cloth mask concealed him just barely. His sunken eyes seemed to glare at the village leader and her companion. "Does your companion have identification as well... and is it just the two of you? " As he asked this question, the cloth-masked ANBU lifted Ryuze's ID to his eyes and studied it a moment. Shortly after, he lowed his hand and presented the ID to Ryuze. His other limb rose palm-up as if to receive the ID for Ryuze's companion. He waited for their response. |

Ryuze glanced over at Sio, who was standing stock still, straight with her hansd linked behind her back. She had only been in Ame for a month, but she could already see the change that was overtaking the girl. Though it was arguable whether or not it was for the better or not. She was physically stronger. That much was apparent. Muscle was beginning to stack, toning her figure. She was growing...barely a noticeable quantity, but when you're already having to look up at almost everyone you meet, you tend to notice these sorts of things. She was also becoming more stoic, though. When they had met in Konohagakure, Sio was inquisitive, bubbly with a bit of unsureness. Now, she was quiet, but for another reason. Every once in a while, perhaps when they were training or went out to eat, a glimpse of the old Sio would shine through, but for the most part, she was hardening.
She was becoming a real shinobi.
"Karaka..." Ryuze said gently, giving her arm a poke. Sio startled a bit, blinking. She was obviously deep in thought. "Oh, sorry..." she said, reaching into the pocket of her jacket and pulling out her plastic-laminated Amegakure ID. Wani Karaka...it was a name she had picked out herself. It meant "Orange Crocodile". She found it to be suitable, since it matched Kurama's color. It amused her a bit...something she needed with how much her life had turned upside down. She passed the ID over to the guard, looking up at him and smiling. She really was glad to be here. Her new duties as Ryuze's personal guard served a handful of purposes, all of them beneficial to every party involved. It allowed Sio to be of some use and gain experience that she might never otherwise. She would get to accompany Ryuze on diplomacy missions to other villages, expanding her worldly knowledge. And for Ryuze, Sio would be in her sight at all time, easing her own mind and leaving her worried when she leaves out of town. While she had no doubt that if anything did manage to happen, that Amegakure could handle itself, she would consider herself personally responsible if anything happened to Sio. That would mean a shitstorm from the Leaf, and that was something Ryuze would rather not deal with. While she was pretty tough in her own right, Masahige downright terrified her. More than that bird. He looked like he wasn't afraid to hit a bitch. She could just imagine him morphing into Ike Turner like a fucking Power Ranger and knocking her block off.

| The ANBU with the cloth mask narrowed his eyes just slightly, his second question having gone unanswered. Ryuze did not confirm, one way or the other, that she and her companion were alone. While the cloth-masked ANBU was confident in the abilities of the sensors among the ANBU, it was not entirely impossible to evade them. It seemed odd to him that the village head of Rain had only one guard with her... He did not inquire further. Instead, as he took the ID card offered by Sio, his eyes cut far to the right. Just a glimpse of a fellow ANBU told him enough. A fox-masked ANBU who subtly had two fingers of one hand displayed for the cloth-masked ANBU to see. A sensor among his squad, confirming that the pair were alone. The ANBU with the cloth mask, presumably a senior in charge of the near forty at the station house, studied Sio's ID for a moment before returning it to her. Though it contained false information, it was still a legitimate ID card, so nothing seemed out of place. He no longer had any cause for suspicion. "Thank you, both of you, for your cooperation. We will escort you directly to Station 5 of Hidden Grass, and then to the administration building." With that, Ryuze and Sio were done with the station house. |
You may now make a thread in the Check-in Stations board of Kusagakure no Sato, where you will go through this process once more.
