The pearl was life itself; a mixture of soul, heat, and electric energy that sent shockwaves through the body. It had a life of its own, almost. It entered into the stomach and, without any instruction, began to root itself to the organ. The chakra it produced began to intertwine with Taikichi’s own, and heat and power spread throughout his limbs. If he ever felt his age, now he wouldn’t; the dragons could live a hundred times longer than he could, and youth poured into him as a river did into an empty basin.
Ao Qin shuddered as his thoughts began to jumble. Taikichi, too, experienced this; the sudden flashing of images, words, and emotions. Memories that were not his bleeped before his eyes, and Ao Qin closed his own and began to meditate.
“Do the same, Taikichi,” the blood dragon demanded. He wanted to stop this nonsensical flow of mental information before one of them were overwhelmed and sent into unconsciousness.

Meditation wasn't a new thing to him, it was actually part of their own techniques. So in the first few moment f the rush, it was already established the information and input form the dragon's mind was being filtered calmly. Ao Qin would also feel other minds, linked through Taikichi, the spirits bound to him. Even Seiryuu, and how they all shared a link so great and complex it could not even be detailed in its complexity.
And just like that the roar of the others minds were quieted, as Taikichi opened his eyes to notice the strange man who had entered the compound behind were Ao Qin stood.
"You here for the spirit special?"
He asked, from the center of the monastery's main courtyard, where a Dragon stood, a Dragon spirit floated and five other animal spirits hung out. It was an odd sight to walk in on, and as odd a sight as it was, the white haired, older looking man in the middle of it all set the tone even weirder. He would look to Ao Qin, and open the pathways between them, knowing they shared a mind link now. Seems there is a visitor to the monastery...hang on a second
His thoughts would say, and the other spirits and now Seiryuu knew what it meant. Taikichi turned to look to the man, just wondering who the dark haired guy was.

Byoki did not need eyes to realize there was something great and powerful going on in this monastery, but whatever it was he did not know.
I am sorry to interrupt your meditation, byoki said with obvious weariness in his voice. I was hoping to seek shelter here, to rest and relax for a few days before continuing on my way. A man in the land where it rains had told me that i should seek out this monastery.
Byoki smiled at the man he assumed was a monk, making it obvious through his posture that he was blind and could not tell exactly from where the monk spoke.
I have no problem leaving my weapon at the door if it is required, he said trying to gauge the attitude of the monk.

Before following Byoki into the building Kou just had to find somewhere to take a piss. After finding a place he rushed to catch up to his new found friend, walking in just after Byoki had finished speaking Kou was still re-adjusting his pants.
"I really had to take a..."
His words were cut short as he realized what he had just walked in on, and slowly kept trying to fix his pants. He was stunned in awe as he looked around the room, it was more then he had seen in all of his adventures so far. Maybe hanging out with this guy is going to be more beneficial then I expected.
"So... whats up?"

Well this was all fine and dandy, as Taikichi got used to the new power surging into him and the new connection of minds. He was used to things being inside his head, so that was not a big deal, and as he looked to the two men who had entered, kind of peering around the dragon, he held up his hand an one finger.
"Just be a second---if you would kindly move over to the temple, just so you don't get stepped on or anything"
He said indicating the dragon, as he waited for them to cross. Once across the world would dim, well not so much dim as one being became brighter. Energy flowed through him, as he called upon his own chakra, the chakra from Ao Qin, the Chakra from his spirits and the chakra from Seiryuu and let it flow through him. He glowed as bright as a star in the sky, as he once again bit his finger and slammed his hand down into the ground, actually causing it to crack from the immense pressure and power he was exerting.
"KUCHIYOSE NO JUTSU!"
He called aloud, as the immense power shook and flowed through him, forming seals on the ground that spread out like the ones previously. In a distant land, a call had been sent, to beings great and powerful, old and young.
He called them all.
The living ones, the dead, all the dragons who had existed in the past hundred years that were part of this contract. He called them, and it was their choice to answer. This is why when he was to be feared by those who knew what he was capable of, this is why the Seishin was a name spoken with honor. With the forces he was tapping and calling to the world, it was no wonder he was chosen to look after these Bijutsukai and now to save another land from the death that plagued it.
