Feathers danced in the sky above, falling gracefully over the farm. The family that lived there - an elderly couple and their grandchild - gazed at the white feathers as their eyelids grew heavier. And then, in mere moments, they fell to the ground in blissful sleep.
Only to be awakened later, struggling to escape from the webbing that encased them up to their necks (and in their own barn, even). Oh, and of course, their mouths were properly sewn shut. The panic on their faces was immense. Susumu could only imagine the images they were seeing, given that he'd already had his spiders bite them. The hallucinogenic venom running through their veins was working overtime; five or so bites each.
"Hmm."
He watched them struggle. The little girl had managed to rip her mouth open. He crying, screaming, and wailing in general were gargled with blood. She didn't care, though; whatever hallucination she was suffering was pumping up her adrenaline so much that she couldn't feel the pain.
A crooked smile was set upon Susumu's face. He loved watching his victims writhe in pain. But perhaps the hallucinations were too much for the old couple, as they seemed to succumb to heart attacks. Susumu chuckled before turning his attention back to the girl. He sat and watched he scream and struggle, until finally he ended her life with one swift crack of her neck.
"Hmph."

His search for Takigakure had brought him to yet another non-shinobi village a couple dozen miles from the capitol city itself. To be completely honest, Kirin wasn't entirely sure that he was going in the direction that he needed to be going. Reading maps was never one of his strong suits.
The village he walked through seemed to be the residence of the farmers that the map he had said resided in these parts. He grinned with relief, his pearly whites showing barely as he looked at the crops growing in the distance. "Finding food shouldn't be much trouble," he stated audibly. While walking pass a large, green barn, the blonde haired man in the bucket hat itched at his chin as he sensed a rather sinister chakra signature. His interest was immediately piqued.
He entered the barn. What he would see next was a man standing over his victims, who seemed to be under some sort of hypnosis or hallucination. It was a glorious sight, really. Kirin always enjoyed seeing those with power who were not afraid to wield it appropriately.
"That was quite the display," he brought his hands together to applaud the silver haired man as he snapped the girl's neck in two, and her body went limp. "I didn't think I would find anyone with such a perverse resolve in this part of the world."

Susumu turned as the newcomer entered the barn. His mood was already sour with the little girl's short-lived torture, but now he had a visitor. He furrowed his brow as he analyzed the blond man. A few small spiders - no bigger than the nail on your thumb - crawled around his feet. They were certainly not native to this country, and unrecognizable by anyone who wasn't familiar with the Ninja Spiders.
"Who are you," Susumu asked. Well, it seemed like more of a demand for knowledge. He wasn't particularly interested in what the man wanted. At least, not yet.

He reserved a calm demeanor as the man was asked who he was. His green ocular took notice of the creepy-crawlers that loitered upon the ground below, they didn't register as a threat because he paid little attention to them, really. They were just objects in his line of sight as he studied the three dead bodies that lied on the ground. The three didn't look like they were people of importance, so he assumed they were just unfortunate souls who were in the wrong place at the right now. It happened like that sometimes, Kirin learned this long ago.
"I'm just a man who appreciates those who aren't afraid to use their power at their own whim," he took a few steps forward, a non-threatening grin adorned his face. In a few moments he was standing closer to the silver haired man, looming over the three dead bodies with curiosity characterized all across his profile.
"If I had to make a take a guess," he started, adjusting his bucket hat appropriately. "I would say some sort of hallucinating torture method was used on them, since their chakra flow feels irregular. Would that make you a Yin release user?" Retrieving his pipe from his pocket, he lit his lighter as he awaited a response. He had developed the habit of smoking a couple years back, and since then he liked to indulge in a good smoke while analyzing things. He discovered that it made the experiencing more...fulfilling.

This man was a sensor. Great, he thought. Whether or not this man was pleased with Susumu's actions, he wasn't pleased with the intrusion. Despite his displeasure, there was no physical reaction. It just seemed that more spiders were crawling around the walls of the barn, if anyone cared to notice.
"What reason do you have to be interested in my abilities?" Susumu asked. He didn't confirm or deny the man's conjecture.

"Hn," murmured Kirin, taking this time to ponder over a few thoughts. The silver haired man didn't answer his question, so he could only assume that his analysis was at least somewhat valid. He didn't dwell on whether or not he was correct, though.
"None other than that your abilities could prove useful to the task that I am pursuing." he started by saying this, choosing his words carefully. His gaze shifted to the walls around them, the green walls had become a bit more distorted and blocky, filled with eight-legged crawlers. "I could help you find an outfit for you to better...execute your talents."
