It was nice to visit home. Despite having taken up residency at the Fire Temple after becoming a monk, nothing could ever replace the sense of comfort that Hidden Leaf offered. Besides, this place had bitchin' noodles, and it was at one such restaurant that Issun could be found purchasing some food. He'd thank the waitress, before pressing his palms together and giving thanks to spirits in turn as well before beginning to chow down. Given all the shit going on in the world these days it was doubtful that he'd be able to catch up with any old friends, though he couldn't be sure.
At least the owners of the ramen stand were kind of enough to make some small talk.

It was a few days since the incident out in the fringes of Hi no kuni, and Mara was well on her way to just giving up on her search. She had a few candidates for the team, but so far no definite spots yet. On her list so far was Sarutobi Osamaru, Kaen Hanayako and that wa sit. She needed to find a sensor, but that was proving harder then it seemed, since most of the Konohagakure sensors were busy, so she couldn't use them. With that, she made her way into the ramen stand, sitting at one of the stools and motioning for the #1 special, bowl of ramen and tea. Once she was noticed by the shopkeep, she let out a heavy sigh.
*TUNK*
As she kind of banged her head against the counter top, in a defeatist sort of way. Seems something was on her mind.

That poor countertop. What had it ever done to deserve such abuse? Issun gave the girl a cursory glance, before returning to a few more mouthfuls of noodles. "Something wrong?"

Slowly she brought her head up, turning to see the man. Another person she recognized, at elast she supposed she did. She didn't actually know most of the other Jounin in the village, but it could be assumed they had seen each other before.
"Running into a wall is never helpful when trying to plan out a road ahead"
She said, in a mild tone of sarcasm, mainly at herself, due to her current mood.
