| Even for a fox, she was... well, a fox.
Prettiest of all the foxes, no exceptions. Her sleek form, oddly sky-blue coat and bright yellow eyes. It was not just her looks, but the way the moved. The way Kumiho carried herself. Her subtle mannerisms. The way she moved her head, the look in her eyes... it was a thing of beauty... she was a thing of beauty.
It carried over into her human form, as well. Leaps and bounds beyond what a human would consider beautiful. She was celestial... divine in her elegance and angelic beauty. The average human simply could not compare to her.
In full seven-tailed form, this beautiful creature sat beside a small, secluded pond all on its lonesome. Roughly the size of a dog, a blue-furred fox with seven large and bushy tails fluttering about as stared down into the pond. Foliage guarded the pond from visibility, a creek descending out of sight below, a small waterfall in the rock cliff above.
A great calamity had spooked her, driven her from the Land of Waterfalls. She had sensed an impending danger, and skittish as all foxes were, departed at once to a neighboring land. The large Land of Fire had not provided enough distance for her, and she had eventually found herself in this ever-wet Land of Rain.
She was alone, for the moment, staring into the clear blue water at a pair of koi fish circling each other like young lovers. She watched them dance about in the water, a look of gleeful curiosity on the face of the vixen as her eyes followed them. |

It was one of the first times Sio had left the village since arriving. Of course, she was being carefully trailed by Ryuze through the use of her rain sensory. It was only sprinkling that day...barely drizzling. One of the nicer days in Ame no Kuni. It felt nice to get out of the confines of Amegakure for a little bit. Especially since Ame no Kuni was so beautiful. It's wilds were grassy and spacious with equal areas of grass and rainforest. She could smell water nearby. A sizeable quantity of it. And she headed in that direction.
Parting the foliage, she came across a quite beautiful sight. A pond, surrounded by lush plant life, and a creek cascading over falls. "Oh, Kurama..." she said aloud. "I never thought places like this actually exist." The fox within said nothing, but Sio could feel him smile. He wasn't kidding anybody, the big softy. As Sio advanced toward the pond, she caught a movement out of the corner of her eye. The swish of a tail or two...and her gaze was drawn to the little blue kitsune seated, watching the koi frolic.
"Oh my goodness...it's so cute! A little fox!" she squealed, advancing toward it. She wondered if it would let her pet it. Be careful, Sio. I don't think that's a fox...they don't come in blue. "Be easy, Kurama...where's your sense of adventure?" Sio still advanced quietly toward Kumiho, crouched down to make herself smaller, approaching while making a clicking sound with her tongue.

| Still watching the koi fish, the light blue fox opening its mouth and gently shut it again, repeating this a few times... as if teasing that it might eat the two fish. In reply, the fish ceased their little dance and swam away from it, to the opposite side of the pond. The fox watched this and gave a little cough. Her ears perked up and her heard turned as movement and noise caught her attention, drawing her focus to a young woman who had begun to breach the trees surrounding the clearing. This woman seemed to be approaching her. "Eh-eh..!" The fox greeted her with a noise, something of a short two-syllable geckering. It did not seem to be spooked by her. Rather, it was the opposite. The fox seemed immediately interested in her. It trotted forth in a playful manner. Once she was close to the human female, Kumiho threw herself onto her side on the ground at Sio's feet. She rolled to her back, all seven tails swishing back and forth across the grass in an enthusiastic display. Belly exposed, Kumiho invited the girl to pet her in a show of trust, trilling away in a happy vocalization. |

Sio continued approaching Kumiho, still crouched low and unthreatening. She wished she had something to offer the fox at that moment, like some fruit or meat. But it would seem that those measures wouldn't be necessary. At that moment, the kitsune noticed her approach, turning a sleek and elegant head in her direction, focusing yellow eyes on her.
Sio stopped in her tracks. That gaze was so much more piercing than she had originally anticipated, and now she was beginning to rethink her plan of petting the fox. It probably had pretty sharp teeth. And claws...wild animals were wild for a reason. Sio remained still, and for a moment, time seemed to stop as both kitsune and human regarded one another. With a yip, Kumiho approached and Sio held her breath as the blue creature bounced toward her, ending on her back with tails swishing playfully. Sio reached out with a careful hand, petting the soft fur on her belly. When it became apparent that Kumiho was not going to tear her hand off, she scooted up a bit, sitting down on the grass to scratch the fox's belly, fingers ruffling through her coat. "You're so soft and pretty..." she said with a giggle, scratching under the fox's chin. "See, Kurama? She's nice. You were worried for nothing, as usual."

| The vixen trilled away happily as Sio's fingers scratched at her belly. One of her hind legs rotated in place a bit, a more dog-like reaction than one would expect from a fox. One of her forepaws stretched out and came to rest against the limb with which Sio scratched her, as if to tell her not to stop. The fox vocalized its pleasure by whining at her. Ordinarily, such a sound would indicate that an animal was in pain or upset. Certainly, this would be the case in a dog. However, one should not mistake a fox for a dog or cat. While the fox did share some similarities, its whine in particular was akin to the purr of a cat. It whined to show contentment. "Ah... that feels so nice." The voice was soft, undeniably feminine in its cadence. Light and feathery, if not slightly sharp with a bit of a canine bark to it. An unexpected sound, no doubt... to have come from the fox. Still laying on her back, tails swishing happily away, Kumiho angled her head so that her eyes could meet with the young human's. The silvery-white pattern of markings on her forehead, the multiple tails, the blue fur... she was of course not a normal fox. "I like you. I don't like most humans. Most humans shout at me. They throw sticks and put up wards to keep me away from them.
Ah... please don't stop." Kumiho nudged the girl's arm with her paw as she spoke, as if to preemptively incite her to continue scratching her belly before she stopped. Humans tended to be at least surprised at a speaking animal, even those who deal with them on a regular basis, such as some shinobi and kunoichi who summoned them. "My name is Ku-
-that feels nice... Kumiho. I am Kumiho. That is my name, human. What is yours..?" Abruptly, she tilted her head back and a few tails straightened out as Sio hit a particularly itchy spot, breaking Kumiho's train of thought for just a moment. She managed to continue. |

Sio was on cloud nine at that moment, scratching the fox's belly. She showed obvious approval, stretching, rolling and making happy fox noises. She wished that she could perhaps take the fox back to Ame with her. Would Ryuze even allow her to keep a pet? No use, anyway, really. Sio was too deep into her training to care for a pet, anyway. Kumiho would be much better off out here in the wild, where she could take care of herself and be free. And of course, receive belly scratches every once in a while from a visiting jinchuriki.
And all thoughts about even possibly taking the kitsune home were snuffed out when she spoke. Her mouth didn't move, but the voice was undeniably hers, and Sio ceased her scratching for a moment, frozen in shock. "It...talked..." Get away from it! Kurama barked. You don't know what that thing is or what it can do. It's not a normal fox. The Biju hadn't been sure before, but was almost damn sure now of what they were facing. He had heard of them, but never actually seen a kitsune before. And while he had heard that they were not particularly dangerous on their own, they were tricksters who occasionally fell under the control of others. This was something he'd rather not deal with.
Momentarily taking control of their body, thick, jagged whiskers etched across her face as eyes shifted to slitted and burgundy. "What's your purpose, kitsune? I've been around for centuries and have only now met one of you. State your intentions!" Sio's eyes shifted again as she took control back, going muddy and round again as the whiskers receded into her cheeks, disappearing once more. "My name is Sio. I'm sorry if he scared you."

| Kumiho was very happy. Eyes closed, the fox remained still for a moment when the hand drew back from her. Her paw would come to rest on Sio's arm, begging to be scratched and petted more, but she did not immediately comply. Instead, the vixen was rocked with a heavy sense of overwhelming fear. The fear forced her eyes to snap open, at which point their focus was drawn to Sio's face. The change in eye color was noticeable to her, and the whiskers made it all that more apparent. Something else was in control of the girl. It took a moment for the fox to scramble to her feet, flinging leaves and dirt into the air as she darted behind the nearest rock large enough to obscure her. Her snout poked out from behind it, and eventually her head shifted forward far enough for an eye to peer out from behind the rock. The pretty fox watched the girl, eyes on her face. She witnessed the shift in eye color and the whiskers receding from her face. The fear that had built up began to wash away, as she sensed a change in the girl's demeanor. She had suddenly been almost hostile towards her, but now she seemed normal. Kumiho recognized this for what it was. "You have a fox in you." Her voice was softer, almost a whisper when compared to her previous vocalizations. She was weary... not of the girl, but of the creature inside her. Kumiho knew foxes, and whatever it was that lay beneath her skin... it was like her. There was a distinctly masculine tone to the voice that had startled her... that had almost growled at her. If it was a kitsune, like her, she had a reason to worry. Males were much more likely to be cruel, and a beautiful vixen like Kumiho was highly sought after by the males of her species. Kumiho let her comment waft in the air for a moment before speaking again. She crept out from behind the rock, studying Sio as she cowered before her. Her tails drooped low in a submissive manner, snout near the ground. "That was a kitsune... like me... yes? I still cannot smell him on you... which is strange." The fox twitched its nose a bit, confirming for itself that no scent of a fox lingered on the girl. There was no smell that alerted her to the change in the girl, merely a vague hostile intent that she had felt wash over her. Ordinarily, one kitsune could smell another, even through a possession such as this. Was he even truly a fox? Kumiho waited for a reply. She was not sure of what this was, at least not yet. A fox... or something like a fox, was inside the girl. She was not aware of anything which could mimic Fox Possession, but the telltale signs of possession were undeniable. "Is he going to hurt me? Are you going to hurt me... or lock me away in some cage?" She was no stranger to abduction. Humans like to put her in cages and make her do things against her will. If that was not the case, they still were often very violent toward her. She had not sensed such intentions from Sio before, but not she was not so sure. Kumiho descended to the ground, laying down several feet from Sio in the grass. She watched the girl, but seemed less skittish. The initial shock had some time to wear off. A wave of nervousness seemed to ripple through her tails, with one or two tails fluttering at a time. |

Sio fully expected Kumiho's reaction. So when the blue kitsune leaped to her feet and skittered away, Sio stood, watching after her. "Good going, Kurama." she said, taking a step in the direction that she bounded off in. It didn't take long for that curious, elegant snout to poke out, sniffing about before Kumiho made herself seen again. Sio was quickly getting used to the idea that Kumiho could talk. So when she addressed her again, she thought nothing of it.
"Yeah, I do." she answered, sitting down on the ground. She hoped that sitting would coax her out again. Kurama eyed Kumiho dangerously from behind Sio's eyes, but was quiet. He still had not gotten the answer that he wanted. He would give the kitsune a chance to answer before he made himself apparent again. Besides, Sio was suppressing him, and he was in no mood to argue with her right then. She certainly had a....way with others. She could get them to talk to her. Could get them to do things for her. Could be that whole nice, not-killing deal that she had going on.
"I won't hurt you. Neither will he. We don't want to lock you away. I've never talked to a kitsune before. I just want to talk to you." Kurama rolled his eyes at Sio's words. He had made no such promises. But still, he remained quiet, aside from a few words privately to Sio. Don't tell her what I am. Just tell her I'm a kitsune. That was Sio's plan, already of course, being that she actually didn't know what Kurama was.
"He is a kitsune." Sio said, nodding and smiling. "The reason you can't smell him on me is because he actually is me. We're bonded." That part actually was not a lie. She and Kurama's sealing was getting tighter now. They were becoming more like one another already.

| Kumiho shifted her head, and eyed Sio's hands. "I like to talk." What she liked more than talking, was being scratched. Head scratches and belly scratches and chin rubs and things like that. Kumiho could even talk and be scratched at the same time. Kumiho's snout rose from the grass. "Talking is rather ambiguous. It can imply questions or friend-making or interrogation or requests. Do you have a request for me?" Oftentimes, a human wanted something from a kitsune. Kumiho had experienced a lot of different humans try to get something from her in different ways. Some were more direct. They might use force or bribes or threats to get what they want. Others tried to talk to her. Kumiho rose and approached tentatively, but paused. "You are not possessed by him?" She cocked her head to the side, confused, before turning away from Sio and stepping over to the pond. As she mentioned the fish, Kumiho looked into water, her eyes darting all over it until she spotted the pair from before and raised her nose at them. "He shouted at me. His question... I do not understand it. My purpose and my intentions? There were fish in this pond. Look, they are still here, over there, on that side.
I was watching them. I am not sure what my intentions were. They were shiny and they moved really weird in the water. I wasn't really thinking about doing something to them. I wasn't going to eat them. Is that what he meant?
Was he worried about the shiny fish?" Her eyes followed the fish for a moment. The girl had the fortune to chance upon the fox, it did not seek her out maliciously or lure her in any way. She was dangerous, but she was not a danger. To happen upon a kitsune was much different. It was a sign of good fortune. |

Sio was pleased that Kumiho seemed to be recovering from Kurama's outburst. He seethed within her, eyeballing the kitsune and waiting for either she or Sio to just get to the point. "Well, I suppose friend-making." Sio said, scratching her dark hair as she chose from Kumiho's categories. This was a very simple fox...much more so than Kurama. Why couldn't things be so cut and dry with him?
"No requests...just friend-making."
True story, Sio didn't even know what a kitsune was for. She did not know any of the lore, as she was not told stories when she was a child. For all intents and purposes, Kumiho was just a fantastically blue fox with a genetic mutation that gave her a bunch of tails. Kurama seemed bothered, but Sio was used to this now. The kyubi was haughty yet overly cautious. Perhaps it was warranted from time to time, but Sio could not live her life with such suspicion.
"No, I'm not possessed by him. It's...kind of complicated to explain. We are still ourselves, but we're each other at the same time. We share a body." Sio struggled with the explanation for a moment before snapping her fingers. "We...possess each other, I guess! He can be me, and I can be him." That was probably about the simplest way to put it. Sio had to laugh at Kumiho's explanation of what she was doing. She had completely misunderstood Kurama's barrage of questioning, which was probably for the best. He wasn't all that clear, himself. Sio could feel the biju roll his eyes and scoff from deep within, but she disregarded it for the moment.
"No, he's not worried about the fish, at all." she said, shaking her head and laughing. "Don't worry about him. He's just paranoid and worried about everything. We don't see kitsune all that often, so I think that just surprised him. Are there very many of you? Or are you the only one?"

| Kumiho cocked her head to one side at the laugh. She felt relatively safe again. The ominous feeling from before, when Kurama had shouted at her, had dissipated enough to put her at ease. She felt soon comfortable approaching the girl again, so she did. She was not the type to harbor negative feelings. The blue paws of the kitsune, under each of which were tufts of white hair between the toes, padded softly across the grass as she neared the girl. Kumiho turned to her left, her side facing Sio, and stopped for a moment before looking back at her. Then she dropped down. She took to the ground, striking the grass-covered earth with her shoulder and thigh. Immediately, she rolled from her side to her back, twisting into a bit of an S-shape as she lay in front of Sio in a submissive posture, inviting her to give some scratches. "We number fewer than five hundred. It is rare, these days, for us to mingle with humans. Most of us live in areas not populated by humans or tend to shrines, and are not seen.
I think I am the most sociable of any kitsune. I imagine most stories of kitsune encounters that you might hear... are stories of me." Kumiho let out a soft whine. "How many tails does Kurama have?" Kumiho's own seven tails fluttered, some side to side in happy little movements. One beat softly against the ground. The number of tails a kitsune had was important to them, in similar ways to that of a tailed beast. They were a sign of greatness. |

Sio watched as Kumiko approached again, turning and rolling back onto her side for the petting to commence once more. Sio gladly obliged, letting her fingers dance through the feathery soft blue and white fur of the kitsune's belly.
"That's pretty cool." Sio said, smiling. "You're certainly the first kitsune I've ever seen out here. And the prettiest." She had no idea if all of them looked like Kumiko, or if they had different appearances and fur colors like people might have with facial features and fur colors. But it would be difficult for her to imagine one prettier than Kumiko. Her fur was the perfect shade of sky blue, mingled with the touches of white here and there. Her form was sleek and feminine, lithe and elegant, the way one would imagine a fox based only on a verbal or written description.
"Kurama's tails?" Sio asked. "He has nine. Nine tails." He was the kyubi, after all, so even if Sio had never actually counted, herself, the answer was right there in one of his many names.

| The vixen opened her eyes wide. "Did you say nine? Kurama has nine tails?!" She was surprised, or excited. She squirmed slightly in the grass, enough to rest her head on one side and eye the girl with her fingers ruffling through her fur. She stared up at Sio's face. "I only know of one fox with that many. The oldest and wisest... the very most powerful fox there is... the Great Head Fox." Kitsune were creatures of myth and legend. Eyewitness accounts devolved into nothing but stories passed down through the generations. Their existence was not something that could be easily confirmed and validated. There were stories of the fox spirits here and there. A great many actually starred Kumiho herself. In her great long life, she had been quite the sociable creature. Most kitsune kept to themselves, but not Kumiho. A true nine-tailed fox had never been seen by human eyes. "Oh, I simply must meet Kurama. If he is a nine-tailed fox like you say... oh, I wonder if he is handsome. That settles it, then.
Pardon me, I'm coming in." Kumiho hesitated before her last words to Sio, speaking them quickly and then acting upon them. An odd shift in her fur, like a soft breeze running through it, would be Sio's only hint. Without any further warning, Kumiho rapidly shifted from her natural form to that of something different... an ethereal fox spirit. As if she were being sucked up by some unseen vacuum, the ghost-like form of Kumiho would vanish under the fingernails of Sio's right hand, the very hand that had been petting her. There would be no pain. A slight tingling beneath each nail, but nothing more. Then, an odd sensation. Akin to pins and needles beneath the skin on Sio's right hand. A feeling as if something was crawling beneath it. Indeed, there would now be a small lump on the back of her right hand. It moved. |

"Yeah." Sio said with a shrug. "Nine big, red tails. Well, I guess they're kind of orange, really. Somewhere in between." It wasn't so much a big deal to Sio. Nine was just a number to her. But then Kumiho spoke of this great and wise fox. And Sio laughed. Without meaning to, of course. I could be great and wise! Kurama protested, his tone a bit salty as he sulked with his head on his paws. "I'm not sure if you have the right fox." Sio said, still laughing a bit.
She was about to ask how Kumiho intended to go about meeting Kurama, perhaps even offer to let him temporarily take over their body to greet her, but that's when the kitsune did something rather...unexpected. She seemed almost to disappear, becoming little more than a thin wisp. "She...she's gone." Sio muttered before feeling the pins and needles in her hand. Shaking it slightly, she looked down in time to see the lump, then begin traveling along the back of her hand.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" she screamed, leaping up and flailing her hand around. This did little to deter the lump's motion, and Sio then dropped back to the ground, smashing the back of her hand into the grass as if trying to smash the lump. She continued yelling, shaking her hand as if trying to shake the lump back down.

| As she attempted to crush the lump, Sio only exacerbated the movement of it. The lump shot up her arm, to just past her elbow. Then it shot all the way up to her shoulder, only to disappear to her back out of sight. "Just calm down, little one." A small, feathery giggle accompanied Kumiho's words. Her voice did not emit from any one location in particular, but instead came from... inside Sio's head. It was soft and gentle, a tender and maternal tone to it. A mother to a distressed babe. "I am inside you now, but you needn't fret about it. I will do you no harm, Sio. After all, you were so nice to me just now. You scratched my belly, and that was a very kind thing to do. So just take a moment to calm down." There was a pause, a lull in activity from the fox. "I can't seem to find my way in.
There is... a place where you and Kurama talk... in person, so to speak. I am looking for this place... but it is hidden from me. I can't find it. I can just barely sense Kurama, but... I can't speak to him. Would you kindly ask him to let me in? I just want to talk to him for a bit." |

Sio just could not seem to squash that lump...it was moving faster than she could keep up with. It burrowed up her hand, pausing at her wrist before snaking up her arm, past the elbow and up her shoulder. Sio stripped off her jacket, rolling up the sleeve of her mesh shirt, trying to track the movement of Kumiho's little bump, but it was already gone from her sight.
That was when Kumiho's voice echoed in her head. And though the words were kind, they did very little to calm Sio's shattered nerves. Still, she tried to calm herself, sucking in deep breaths through her nose. She would have to take Kumiho's word that she meant her no harm...after all, she was already under her skin and inside her, and there wasn't a damn thing she could do about it.
Instead, she would oblige the kitsune's request, shaking a bit as she closed her eyes, calling out to Kurama. Kurama...the kitsune, Kumiho....she wants to talk to you. WHAT? he bellowed. She dares to want to speak to ME? Where is she? I'll talk to her all right!
At once, Kumiho would find herself surrounded by pure white, and a black floor. A chain link fence would sit opened with Kurama seated within that opening. There was a look of pure annoyance on his orange and black face as crimson eyes scanned for the "intruder". Show yourself! he shouted. Who dares to DESIRE my presence?

| There, before the great Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, the Monster Fox, Karuma... was a fog. A blue fog. Blue-ish. A light, sky-blue fog that seemed to swirl about in place. An odd area of the fog seamed to coalesce into a vaguely snout-like shape... a stretch by any imagination. The fog seemed to have two slightly dense spots above the snout, which could pass for closed or squinted eyes. It still mostly looked like a weird... sky-blue fog. A blue fog monster. Like that thing from LOST. Except blue. The blood fog monster that was not from LOST hovered in place in front of Kurama. It seemed to give off something of a vibe. Some kind of aura, that... as odd as it is to say, seems to be positive. The blue fog monster did not seem hostile. On the contrary, it seemed to almost emanate positive emotion. An as of yet unidentifiable emotion, but nothing like hatred or greed or ill intent came from the thing. Then... it changed. The massive blue fog started to condense itself. It slowly drew inward, becoming thicker but smaller in size. Gradually a quadrupedal shape began to form, and after many seconds... the seven-tailed fox stood there before Kurama. The blue fog monster had become a monster fox, standing nose to nose with one of her kind. She was so much more beautiful in person. A gorgeous pale sky-blue fox standing there before him. She was the right size. The same size as him, but with a more lithe and feminine physique. She was somewhat smaller, actually. Slitted eyes would part to reveal large aureate eyes. A sort of bold yellow, with near-imperceivable golden specks inside them, like tiny stars in her the pupil of each eye. "I did not think you would be so handsome." She stood there, semi-stunned, snout to snout with the monster fox. Her eyes were wide, staring into his. She gave a little huff, and took a few steps back to look him over. She would trot back and forth to get a different angle on the male fox. Her own seven tails swished from side to side in excitement. "Do you have a mate?" She did not waste time at all, probably itchin' for that furry orange D. |

Kurama was all flare and vinegar right at that moment. He stood in his gate opening, imposing, tails flared behind him in a most fantastic manner. He looked about. Again. And again. And again.
That's when he caught the glimpse of blue fog in front of him. Slowly, the fog began to stretch and swirl vaguely into a shape, a...nose of sorts seeming to protrude from it. It split, leaving gaps that seemed almost to function as eyes, that would "consider" Kurama momentarily. Slowly, some of his nerve began to leave him, tails lashing a little less majestically as this fog appeared to judge him, possibly harshly. What in the hell was this? He had never dealt with a real kitsune before. He had no idea there were even things out there that could do this.
S-show yourself! he growled at it, considering lashing out at it but deciding against it...what if it was an acidic fog that would eat off his hand? He had no sooner spoken when the fog began to shift again, now taking a form that would seem more familiar. Now he was a little less nervous. There was definitely something...pretty about her. Not necessarily in a "look at that hot bitch" kind of way, but in the way that a piece of pottery might be pretty, or a new oriental rug. The Kyubi would not be dropping his guard in the face of beauty, though.
What did you want? he said sharply, partially ignoring her comment about him being handsome. Honestly, it had not gone completely over his head. It swelled his pride as much as a comment about his power or strength, but he did not let this show to Kumiho. But instead, she would start moving, circling him. Sizing him up. No...this was something else. Something...foreign. He grew uneasy again, holding his position as she moved around him.
And then she asked about a mate.
Wha....No! he shouted, spinning to face her straight-on. I have no need for such things as mates. He said so frankly, though angrily, yet if one was to squint hard enough, they might see the slightest hint of a flush in his skin beneath that red-orange coat.

| When the Demon Fox spun around to shout at her, Kumiho did not flinch. She merely turned to her left to slink around him once again, only... this time she did not completely circle him. She made a soft U-turn after taking a few steps, and came back around to his front. Her gentle feet padded softly by him. She she passed by, one of her tails rose up and gently caressed the underside of his chin. "So... you are available, then?" The vixen trotted softly in front of him, looping back around for another pass. This time, she was not so bold. Or, perhaps... she was even more bold. The pretty fox ducked low and rolled onto her back in front of him. She extended her left front paw and let it rest on his right foreleg. She turned her head to the side and opened her left eye to look at him. "You are not like any other kitsune. Not like the other males. I can not sense any evil in you. You feel inherently... good. This interests me greatly." She paused, staring up at him. "I also do not have a mate. In seven hundred years, I have not met one male who I felt could treat me right. I have spent time with the humans, as one does... but it is not the same. They are fragile creatures. Humankind is weak, they shelter from the dark. You are different. You are like a kitsune, but not like a kitsune.
I feel that I have an infinite interest in you." Kumiho paused again, and this time looked away from Kurama. She could not see the girl anywhere. Considering she was inside her body, it made sense that Sio would not be physically present like Kurama was, but this was different from normal possession. Maybe she could see and hear them, or even manifest herself. This new Mental World was strange to the sky blue fox. |
