ANGELOFDEATH01: THOSE IN NEED [mission request] He had arrived at noon. Truth was he was tired. He had took off by himself a little over twenty-four hours ago and he hadn't taken any stops aside from the occasional rest stop. Dressed in his official, formal attire, with his stringy black hair tied back into a pony tail, he trudged through the administration building slowly. 'I am here to speak with Lady Ryuze," he told the receptionist, as the echoes of rain resonated as he stepped through the door. "I am the Head of Senkai Gai, Ichigawa Harushima." |

Harushima would be led by the guard down the hall and around the curve of the building. Past what might have been an office, if not for a giant plank of wood piercing the ceiling and smashing into the floor. The citizens were ready to start their repairs on the administration building, but Ryuze was adamant that so much of a doorknob would not be put on the place until everything else was back in order, as it should be. So, much to the chagrin of her people, Ryuze remained shut away in her cramped broom closet, which was where this newest visitor would be led to.
The door was opened, and Ryuze sat at her desk, finishing the last of some paperwork. Shifting the page to her outbox, she looked up to notice the pair, visitor and guard, standing in the doorway. Ryuze stood, walking around the cramped space between the desk and her wall. "Thank you." she said with a nod, excusing the guard. She extended a hand toward Harushima. "Wani Ryuze. Please, step inside. It's a bit cramped, I'm sorry."

ANGELOFDEATH01: THOSE IN NEED [mission request] Stepping into the cramped space Lady Ryuze called an office, Harushima offered her a smile and a nod as he stepped forth. Moving so that he was standing right in front of her, he wouldn't take a seat as he felt it was more respectful to stand while in the presence of those with power- even if he was a man with a similar stature.
"There's no need for an apology." Harushsima spoke, his welcoming tone still seemed to remain in tact even though he was tired from traveling.
"I am the Head of Senkai Gai, Ichigawa HarushimaI know I arrived a bit unexpected but given the current state of my city, I hope that you can somehow understand my sudden intrusion. I have traveled here in hope of hiring your village, and its' shinobi for a mission that we need completed immediately."

Ryuze was a bit ashamed of her office, but it was what it was. Still, it also assured that none of her visitors would stay long. Cruel, she knew, but at the same time, she had work to do and needed interruptions to be to the point and minimal.
Ryuze seated herself again as she took in what Harushima was saying. Some of his words and parts of his tone were alarming. 'State of my city...' 'completed immediately...' These were terms that concerned Ryuze, and her brow wrinkled a bit in response. These were her Ame no Sato brothers. Though they were not shinobi, still, they were citizens who did business and trade with Ame no Kuni. There would be no question as to whether or not Ryuze would lend them her aid. "But of course." she said, nodding and reaching for a couple of papers. "What's happened?"

ANGELOFDEATH01: THOSE IN NEED [mission request] "The Yōma clan's new leader, Yōma Mika has been committing acts of treason against the Daimyō. Its' come to my attention that a few clans who live within Senkai Gai's boarders were contracted to steal a scroll from the Daimyō- upon coming to retrieve said scroll, I'm told, that she is solely responsible for causing the genocide that left my city's streets crimson with blood."
Taking a breath, his gaze shifted up towards the ceiling. A look of regret settled within his brown eyes.
"I left the day prior to visit a fellow village to discuss terms of trade between our villages. Upon returning, well I imagine you can envision what I saw..." sliding a manila folder containing pictures of both gore and death over to Ryuze, he collected himself.

Ryuze listened intently, taking in the names, the actions, the locations. These were all things that had been whispered ambiguiously about in the Ame no Kuni underground, but there were always rumors afoot, always some halfbaked wannabe villain/hero talking about starting this, usurping that, stealing the thing over there on the table. Mind could not be paid to all of it without compelling evidence, which there rarely was. Until now.
Ryuze thumbed through the photos, the mangled bodies and bloodstained streets being nothing new to her. Still, there was an element of sadness to them. Loss of life, supposed to be commonplace to a shinobi, never ceased to hit Ryuze right where it mattered. And though she appeared as stalwart as ever as she traversed photo after photo after photo, inside, she was boiling. As she flipped the last one face-down on the interior of the folder and closed it, eye was closed, fingers tented as she lost herself deep in thought for a moment.
"My condolences for having to return to such unfortunate and tragic circumstances." she said finally, opening her eye and raising her head. "The clans contracted to steal the scroll...will be dealt with accordingly, as well. However, our primary focus for the moment will be on Yōma Mika, and her...detainment." Detainment was a nice word for what would likely await the clan leader, once she was located and caught. She would likely never even see the jail. For the type of crime that she had committed, six-feet underground would be much more suitable. After all, Ryuze didn't feed traitors or murderers.
