Marā had one hopeful prospect for her unit, but was still drawing a blank on others. She needed a sensor, and a strong all around, seeing as she herself specialized in ninjutsu and seals. In short she was drawing a blank, as she sat in a back private study room, scouring through stacks of papers. Every once in awhile she would get a coffee, downing it and discarding the small paper cup into the pile near the trashcan by the door of the room. It went like this much throughout the day, showing her frustration, as she went through countless stacks of paper, scrolls. After about six hours in this room, she was finally sitting with her head buried in her arms face down. A sigh escaped her lips as she tried to think, finally sitting back up, and hitting the table in frustration.
As she did, something rolled off the side of the table, a scroll. In a soft whump it landed on the floor, catching her attention, as she leaned over out of her chair to examine the scroll.
"MIA report, 11/1/12..."
She read across the seal, as she picked it up and set it on the table. Odd she would have a missing report, because she was looking through active ninja, not rogues or those missing in action. For a moment she sat there looking at it, wondering about it... It was five or so minutes before curiosity got the better of her. With an In she let loose the seal, and opened the scroll. AS it unrolled pictures, with lists, much like one would find in a bingo book where uncovered, most were labeled MIA, as if unknown if they were rogue or simply dead in the field or kidnapped.
She passed by a younger looking man, it listed him as a Yamanaka clan member, but his hair was darker. Something about him caught her eye, he was different, and Yamanaka were a very tight knit clan, the few Konoha had were among the higher known clans. Much like the Kyûin, the Yamanaka were a Konohagakure no sato guarded clan, been around since near the formation of the village. They were renowned for their sensory and infiltration as well as spying abilities. Where as her clan was well known for their weather manipulation.
"Missing for the last two years, last known homestead was outside Konohagkaure no sato. Village has no information on if killed or kidnapped...
If he is alive... and I can find him, he might be a useful asset to the unit"
She said thinking aloud, as she went over in her mind just where she would start looking. It seems it was a cold trail, but one worth pursuing, a Yamanaka that didn't look like the rest of his clan would be ideal for infiltration, no one would see it coming. Rolling up the scroll, she began to refile the paperwork into the secure cabinet in the private archives study room, but kept the scroll out. It was her best lead, for completing the unit, as well as would mean she could test out Hana some more in the field and see if she was ready.
Pieces like a puzzle, beginning to come together.

“Unit?” The voice came from nowhere as Kariire stepped out from the shadows of a nearby bookshelf.
He wore the white haori he was named for, arms crossed and hair let loose. His eyes, a pair of grey jewels, were observant of everything and his eyebrows were perked out of curiosity.
“You sound like you need some help, Mara-chan.”
Kariire knew Mara well, having trained her a little and reviewed her reports when she was called in for promotion to Jounin. She was an apt girl, though still young but undoubtedly skilled.

She didn't like it when people popped in on her, especially from seemingly nowhere, in a closed room with a few bookshelves. Her nerves told her to fling a kunai, but she held her poise, as she turned to see the man, Kariire.
"Oh, its you Kariire-kun...
Sounds like? Do I really seem that desperate?"
She added with a calm, humorous tone, as it seemed the man had over heard more then Mara had wished. That was okay, he might prove useful in this endeavor.

Kariire pulled his hands out of his sleeves and raised up to the two lolipops he had on him. He threw the grape to Mara, hoping he was remembering right that it was her favorite flavor, and began to unwrap his own watermelon one. “Just a little. You’ve been here all day talking to yourself, and I overheard you.”
He popped it in and motioned to the scroll in her hand before crossing his arms again. “So what’s going on, Mara-chan? If you’re looking for someone, I’d be glad to help.”

She nodded as she held out some of the papers she had found to Kariire.
"This boy, well, young man, Yamanaka Byoki... MIA, last seen in outskirts Hi no kuni... If we can find him, he would be useful in our team being made for---"
She paused, almost letting slip her purpose. Slowly she looked around, and then looked ot Kariire, mouthing with her lips the words "Bijuutsukai". It was hush-hush. She had to keep it as tightly wrapped as possible, because the enemy may have spies anywhere.
