"ATTENTION!" a thunderous voice called, seemingly out nowhere as the voice literally stretched all the way across the Chūnin Exam village. They couldn't see him, or sense his chakra, but they could hea his voice as he stood in front of the stadium. His arms were folded, his posture relaxed.
"This is your Head Proctor- Momotaro, here to give you kiddies an update and all that has transpired in the six hours that you have been undergoing the first exam." Stepping around the stadium as he spoke, pacing just a bit, he pondered for a brief second before deciding where he wanted to start his update.
"Out of the 140 participants, 43 have been eliminated, 5 have been injured or died, and 90 have barely made any progress, while only 15 of you Genin have actually collected the first half of the assigned items." With his eyes closed, it was as if he was reading from a chart in his mind that contained each and every stat from today's festivities.
"Speaking of which, I would like to extend a word of congratulations to the eleven Genin who have managed to collect the first six of the twelve items." He grinned to himself, stopping in place. "But things only get harder from here, sadly. Just to show you kiddies how proud I am, I will give you a few clues on how to obtain the second half of the pendants.
"You would find sealing your pendants into the scroll will help you along your way. It might even show you the way, so to speak. There are some parts of the village that are obscured, but still capable of being found. Unfortunately, there are some obstacles that you will find along the way. Overcoming those obstacles will lead you to the road of success, and the second exam.
"Good luck."
NOTE:
Check back here frequently. There will be updates concerning the stages and obstacles you will have to face for the second half of the first exam.

PART TWO BEGINS: THE THREE STAGES OF THE HIDDEN GRASS
What you see before you is the Path of Foliage. If the name doesn't give it away already, this is the section of the Chūnin Exams Village that is composed of entirely trees, bushes, and various other forms of greenery. The grass here is tall and steep, and at certain points, can reach heights to an excess of five feet. Within this area various creatures can be found, usually some type of creature with insect attributes and bug like qualities. They creatures usually move in swarms which, at times, are known to attack. In this stage of the exams though, they are focused around causing a distraction for the Genin. They are placed here to force the Genin to find logical, and convenient ways to get by them. While battling against various types of creatures, and the tall grass terrain, somewhere among the ruckus is the seventh pendant. Its' exact location is located inside the opening of an old, split willow tree. Obtaining this pendant will unlock the apart of the Genin's map which will lead them to the eighth pendant, and the first of the three 'bosses' that they will encounter. Gadai, the giant moth is the first of the three bosses that the Genin will come across. He is essentially a wind released based creature with a special ability that allows him to release pores into the air that will paralyze whoever is exposed too much of it at one time. Gadai usually only uses that attribute in dire times, or when it is aiming to defeat its' opponents. Gadai is located within the largest tree(s) in the Path of Foliage. It' won't really be hard to find once they begin to look. Once arriving to it, the scent of maple will burst throughout the air, in a power gust of wind which will warrant Gadai's arrival. Ninjutsu is permitted for the remainder of the exams.

Stage One, continued:
The two pendants than will be collected after the above has been collected are--
The Blood Ruby, which is a crimson, tear shaped ruby. The second is Sapphire Star, which is a navy blue, five sided star.
After collecting the seventh and eighth pendants, the Genin will be able to obtain three more in the next part. In order to do so, they must first maneuver through the Labyrinth of Grass. As the name suggest, this is a natural labyrinth composed of earth and tall grass (the grass reached heights of...eleven feet tall). In this labyrinth there are many traps (such as quicksand, sinking holes, animated bushes that will grab and bind the Genin, killer Venus Flytraps which are humongous, etc.).
This maze is used to test the Genin's sense of direction, ability to pick up and pay attention to detail, and make smart decisions. In fewer words, it further tests the Genin's ability to survive.
Within this labyrinth the Genin can find three more pendants- the Dread Root, which is a black beat shaped pendant; the Lime Branch, which is a green branch with three limbs; and, finally, the Emerald Soul, which is square, green emerald.
These three items are literally hidden within the labyrinth, which will require the Genin to test their limits and to do the unthinkable- take a risk. You never know where you will find these three pendants; but remember, searching for them may cost you your life.
Side note- I plan on having the first exam completed by Friday or Saturday. Meaning simply, this part and the next portion of the first exam will need to be completed by then. Do your best guys.
The final part of the first exam will be posted Thursday.

The final pendant is the largest of them all. It's the insignia that the Shinobi Alliance used during the last World War. Upon receiving this pendant, the map on the Genin's scroll will full reveal every location within the area, while also displaying the location of the second exam. Simply sealing this seal into the scroll marks the completion of the last exam.
This is Kusatogi. The guardian of the forest who, upon finding him in his rocky home, will give you the final pendant- the Shinobi Insignia. He possesses a great healing power, and upon meeting him he will heal your wounds and send you on your way. Any attempts in engaging in combat with Kusatogi will lead to him not give you the final pendant.
For those who are concerned, if you worked in teams, only one of the members scroll is required to have all 12 of the pendants sealed. In the introductory rules, it was stated that the Genin were suppose to complete their objective in any way necessary- working in teams falls under the jurisdiction of that clause. In lieu of this information, I regret to tell you that- if you were working in a team, but collected the rest of the pendants alone- that makes you a solo player. As such, the 'Team Player' clause does not work in your favor.
