[Theme Music]In the days after the battle outside the village walls, a summons is issued to the members of the Shinobigatana, both the old and the new. The summons gives directions to a meeting room deep under the seven Mizukage monument. The summons gives notification that they are to come alone, and keep their where-abouts a secret, as this a meeting that never happened. Invite only. Kirigakure Shinobigatana. Standing at the far side of the room, candles lit, the domed ceiling arcing up to show the bases of the monuments to the Mizukages. Water ran along channels on the outer fringes of the room, and there were two passage ways, one leading in from the sewers and one leading down the entrance located in the Mizukage's office. The location was not the easiest to get to, but it was worth it.
There were no chairs here, so she was standing, her arm in a sling, a reminder of her recent battle outside the village with an old enemy. She was still as dangerous, if not more so now, considering she had to rely mainly on her ninjutsu abilities. Sufficed to say, an attack on her right now would be the worst outcome, for all those involved.
The meeting was waiting on the members of the seven both old and new to show. There was a reason she called them, for there was a task needing to be done that required an elite task force...

Straightening his mask on the side of his head Koji silently entered the room from the sewers. He had a stern look up his face having spent the previous day sifting through the prison, and gathering the bodies of the victims put a sour damper on things. As he moved further into the dimly lit room he took notice of the boss lady standing with her arm in a sling. Pulling a sucker from his pocket he quickly un wrapped it before placing it in his mouth, as he came to a stop not far from the boss lady.
Since he came home Koji has been going over what all had happened in the village trying to piece it together. Regardless of how it happened he wanted to do all he could to help the situation, and restore the village to what it should be. It frustrated him that someone was able to attack them in such a way, revealing weakness to the eyes of others. His hands rested on his hook blades located on either side of him as he waited for the others to arrive, and his brother to catch up.

Satsuomi Kazuhiro
Emerging from the shadows of the sewers, Kazuhiro stepped into the candlelight of the dimly lit room. His eyes squinted a little at the change in light but they recovered rather quickly and he made his way over to where his brother was standing. As he walked further and further into the room he began studying the Kage. She had obviously just been in a battle because her arm was in a sling. However, from the look in her eyes Kazu could tell that she was still one to be reckoned with. Without even realizing it he was standing in front of the Kage just outside of arms reach.
"How did things go at the gates?"
From what intel Kazu could gather from the other shinobi and villagers a lot had happened. Not to mention that he had heard the battle itself the day before just before they went to investigate the prison. The claw on his left hand started to shimmer with the glow of chakra. It did not sit well with Kazu when members of his own village got hurt.

She looked at to two who had shown up so far. She glared over at Kazuhiro, before softening her gaze. Truth be told, she didn't feel the need to discuss what had happened here.
"The village still stands"
She said in a cut and dry tone. Turning her attention between the two of them.
"Any news on the others? Two of the new Seven I see before me, but five more there are... as well as seven others from the past... Odd"
She said, as her blue eyes cut daggers through each of them. She didn't wish to wait long, this was kind of important, and din't think it could be done with only two of them.

[/a] Setai had been rather interested when he received the summons, it seemed the Mizukage was always one step ahead of him. Setai was unsure how exactly she had known he had been trained by one of the former Shinobogatana from years past, but was happy to see the summons knowing that it meant she was starting to trust him again.
He made his way through the grounds secretly, covered by a hood he stalked his way towards the gathering. He made his way into the monument knowing well that whatever it was the Mizukage needed it was obviously very important.
He stopped as he past a simple secret marking that had been worn and tarnished by the ages. It was kanji written in the hand of his sensei from years ago, it meant remembrance. The reality of where he was heading suddenly struck him, his younger dreams of being admitted to the shinobigatana was finally a reality. As he walked into the meeting room deep under the monument and one of the many secret meeting places of the seven.
Setai smugly smiled to himself when he heard familiar voices up ahead. Continuing his secret approach he walked closer until he crossed into the room, it would be hard to call it a secret meeting when you can hear those two for a mile. He said as he smirked at the two brothers.
The tension in the room between Kazuhiro and the Mizukage was immediately obvious when none of the others seemed to pay his entrance any immediate mind.
Hey you two Setai said looking at the brothers with a smile as he lowered his hood. Mizukage-Sama Setai said with a bow, after rising from his bow he stood patiently waiting to hear more of what might be going on.

For a moment Koji just watched as the boss lady showed little care for Kazu's question. He could tell she was would rather not discuss exactly what happened at the gates, or she wanted to tell it on her own terms. Either way Koji did not care as he was zoned out as his eyes had drifted away staring at the statues. With his fingers fiddling with the stick from the sucker in his mouth he almost didn't notice her question.
"Not a word boss lady"
His eyes met Rinruris for a moment as he gave her a shrug of his shoulders. A while before Setai had entered the room Koji had already began to hear his footsteps, upon hearing his voice Koji just looked over pulling the sucker out for a moment. An eyebrow rose as Setai blurted out some smug comment to the boss lady as if he were some sort of funny guy. Though Koji would just stare at him blankly for a moment before his focus went back to the sucker he had been working at.

Judging from the reaction that the Kage gave him, Kazu could tell that whatever happened at the gates was a touchy subject. He tried not to pry but Kazu was having trouble masking his curiosity. Altering his thought patterens, Kazu let his gaze linger on the Kage for a moment longer before Setai finally spoke. He only let his glance shift from the Kage for a slight moment to look at the newcomer before he returned it back to Rinruri.
"Surely, two and...a half...of the Seven Swordsman should be enough."
After he said his piece to the Kage he finally let his view return to Setai before walked over and leaned against the wall. Kazu wanted to make it clear that he didn't approve of the other man being there. Unfortunately for him it wasn't his decision to make so he merely shifted his weight and let his sword hand rest on the hilt of Hikami. It was probably just from being a Hunter nin but it was hard to trust the man. There he waited for the Kage to state what it is exactly that she wanted them to do.

She was half tempted to make them remember they were speaking to a Kage, and not the nicest one at that. But held it back, she would bottle it up until her next encounter with Rix.
"Rin-sama will suffice... Since this is all we have, I am tempted to not be patient and detail the assignment I have for you right now"
She said and paused, waiting to see if another person showed up. Just the sound of moving water as she waited and turned her attention back to them.
"Very well then..."
She paused for dramatic effect.
"The task I have in mind will require a great deal of stealth, and all the wits you can muster... I want you to tear down this village, and join up with the Daimyo's allegiance..."
She said, and stared at them, completely serious. Why she was tasking them this, was about to be explained, once they thought it over for a few minutes.

[/a] It was evident there was tension in the room that had trickled over from the sadness involved in the loss of shinobi life from the previous days attacks on the village. Yet Setai knew that the Mizukage would not have called them here unless it was dire straights.
The comments from Kazuhiro were enough to finally break the exterior of Setai's calm demeanor but he was not willing to allow it to show. The man did not know Setai, did not know why he had done the things he had done. Was probably not even sure why Setai had become a missing nin in the first place but his fool hearty attempts to offend Setai would not be enough to even warrant the slightest rebuttal this day.
Yet though Setai may be able to stomach the offenses to himself he would not be willing to deal with anymore attitude from either of the brothers in regards to their opinion of the Mizukage. It was one thing to question her judgments in private, it was yet another to disrespect her to her face. If either of them continued their adolescent attitudes in regards to their interactions with the Mizukage Setai knew he would not be able to contain his frustration any longer.
Listening to the Mizukage's words Setai understood where her plan would lead them but still there was another question. Setai wondered if their enemies would be fool hearty enough to believe the ruse, and at what cost. He assumed that even upon fulfilling the actions the Mizukage asked the Daimyo would intend for them to prove their loyalty. The task would probably be something horrible that Setai doubted he could do, but none the less he assumed the Mizukage was well aware of the cost that would be paid in the end.
Rin-sama, I do not question your orders but i must ask what if our enemies do not believe this lie to be truth?

"I am sorry Rin-sama"
Koji stood tall before bowing slightly to Rin as he did not realize she did not like the 'boss lady' stuff. Suppose in his mind it was not a big deal, then again women can be kinda touchy about silly little things like that. Now gnawing on the stick he was waiting for he to continue when his brother made a stupid comment. With a sigh he calmly walked closer to his brother before slapping him on the back of the head.
"This is no place for jokes Kazu"
He knew Kazu would probably get upset with him and ream him about it later. Though he just was excited that they were finally taking action, cause Rin always has a reason behind what ever she asked them to do. That was why he was so willing to work with Setai, even though he still did not trust him. It was then that Setai asked a dumb question before letting Rin finish explaining what she had in mind. Slapping his hand to his face Koji let out another sigh before turning to Setai with a slightly annoyed look on his face.
"If they do not believe it to be true, then we failed at our mission... which will never happen. Now hold your questions until she is finished, she may answer them for you"
With that he turned back to Rin with a smile on his face hoping she would not get too angry. He knew she was straight to business like himself, so he would understand if she would. Now he would stand before his kage ready for any order she would give him, as he was ready to take their village back... by any means needed.

Kazuhiro shot his brother a glare as he rubbed the back of his head slightly. Even though he was being a little rash his brother didn't have to be so rude. Ignoring his brother he returned his gaze back to Rin-sama and managed to get a little more serious. At first he hadn't realized the seriousness of the meeting but when he did acknowledge that she was completely serious he become so as well.
You could see a complete change come over Kazuhiro as his eyes met Rin's, not able to completely control his feelings he let a bit of concern show. After a moment he dropped head to the point where his upper body was almost parallel to the floor.

She looked at them, each over, before letting it sink in.
"We are presented with a unique opportunity...Let me explain...
Before I came into this office, the 6th Mizukkage was a very war minded man thinking a fifth war was right around the corner. He militarized Kirigakure and sold most of her military power to the Daimyo. When he rebuked his council and sought to gain his own power, they had him killed...
His legacy lives on, as the village has not recovered in the fourteen years since his machinations, his war mongering...
Now, we stand at an advantage against our enemy, who has shown his colors, he wishes for Kirigakure to be leveled and to add our might to his so he can set about means of conquering the world... So, we give it to him...
The plans were to remodel the villag ein its original likeness, before this war had cropped up, but now, it seems fitting that we set fire to the war torn village, in a smoke screen to hide our weapons amongst the enemy..."
She said, as her words coined up images of the previous Mizukage, of battles fought long ago, and of clever deceptions.
"The Seven are the most feared swordsmen in the land, if not the world, many of their names end up in bingo books due to the incredible might they weild and the abilities of them... It would only be the cherry on top of the ice cream, if the strongest in the village were the ones who did the deed, and joined the Daimyo... I'm betting he would welcome you with open arms, after seeing the measure of your resolve to join his side"
She said, and once again paused.
"He would never expect us to burn down our own village as a ploy to infiltrate his network, that is too far gone of an idea---which is why it will work... His downfall will be believing the deception, of a forced remodel made to look like destruction of his enemy"
She said laying the plan out there, so they could all take it in, and now would open the floor to questions.

[/a] Setai quietly stood, soaking in the information the Mizukage had shared. The plan was definitely genius to say the least but still Setai worried about the possibilities of failure. The Mizukage had such great faith in this plan, and was willing to allow the village to be destroyed to see it happen. Whether it was a remodel or not, this plan took guts. She was a magnificent leader and tactician just as the Mizukages before her, it would be only right to have faith in the genius of her words.
Setai stood waiting to gage the reactions of the others and held a face of poised focus. He was ready for this, though it may in a way bring him back to the same footing he had been in over the last several years. Setai was sure he could help the brothers learn to exist as they had previously pointed out he had, as an untrustworthy criminal.

Standing in silence Koji thought over what the kage had said in his mind, and about how they would go about it. It was not his favorite idea, but he had to admit if they pulled it off this plan would work in their favor. Or more so in the favor of the village... well on the other had they would have a hard time ever coming back to the village. They will forever be seen as missing-nin if they went through with this, but he will always live for the village.
Letting off a sigh he glanced over toward his brother well he chewed on the stick in his mouth. He wondered what his brother thought of the idea, then again there was not much to wonder. The kage was saying to burn the village down... that would be enough for Kazu to jump aboard. Koji knew his brother well enough to know that he would understand why they had to do this. For the moment Koji would wait to see what the others had to say before putting in his own two cents.

A lot had been going through Kazu mind as the conversation continued. He would of never thought of such a plan himself but he had to say that there was a certain genius to it. Unsure of what exactly the mission entailed, if it was just setting it aflame then it would be easy. However if they had to take on some of their fellow shinobi...that would make things quite a different in Kazu's eyes. Still something that needed to be done but it would take a lot more grit and would require him to mentally prepare himself for it.
"I see what your saying Rin-sama,..." said Kazu reluctantly "But are we gonna have to hurt any of our own on this one."
A look of desperation and hope shined in his eyes as he waited for an answer he thought would most likely be for the worse. Regardless of the answer Kazu had already set in his mind what he wanted to do. Glancing over his shoulder he could see that his brother was looking at him so he gave him a nod. As he turned back to face the Kage he was certain that his brother already knew what he was going to do.

She waited, hearing some of the words and thoughts. Since there was only three of them, this would make the impact of their defection a bit more understandable and credible. But she also looked down for a moment, and then returned her gaze to Kazuhiro.
"Yes...
Of the few we have in the village at this time, that are not out defending the civilian lands outside the village, you will have to do battle...
I also, will not be able to stand by, and you will have to face me...
His "Lordship" knows I am not one to stand by when my people and village are under threat, and will expect me to fight you... so it must be..."
She said, and her resolve steeled. Her cold demeanor showed a soft side for a moment, breaking away that ice to show a fire locked inside.
"The question is not, how far must we go...
But do you have the strength, to go as far as necessary?"
She said, turning her gaze to pierce into each of them in turn.

[/a] The gravity of the situation was heavy in the room all of the swordsmen present seemed to be silent for a few more moments until one of the brothers spoke again.
Setai understood the need for the plan though he also didn't agree with it in some ways. Not wanting to question the Mizukage however he truly questioned himself. Pondering deeply on the plan, all the while wishing that this person the Mizukage was an impostor for whom the foul plot had been concocted. Wishing he could wipe it away from his mind as a bad dream, hoping that he would soon wake up from the horror that surrounded the village. But he couldn't and he wouldn't, this was the reality of the situation and it would possibly come down to their small unit to accomplish the win in this war. The future of the village stood on their shoulders, but did they have the fortitude to see the plan through.

"We are loyal to you Rin-Sama, our blades are yours to direct..."
Koji spoke in a calm manner as he moved a little closer to the kage as he made his statement. After a moment of eye contact with Rin his gazed shifted as he began to pace the area between his brother and Setai. The whole idea had been being processed while he stood silent in thought, he was oddly okay with this idea. The brothers would be outcast by the villagers, and they may never be able to return home again.
"...though the people may not understand or reasons, we will make the sacrifice so that Kiri can be reborn"
His words were thick with trust in Rin-Sama while having a slight hint of questioning. Though he loved Kiri Koji felt that the village had lost its way in the mists of war, and needed a chance to be re-born anew. As he spoke his eyes would shift between his brother and Setai again to look for the slightest hint that they would not be able to move forward with this task.

Listening patiently to the Kage's response Kazu remained quiet and still. He already knew what the answer would be and only really half listened to it. Kazu knew that there would be resistance and didn't have any problems with most of it. However, he wasn't sure about crossing swords with the Kage, not only was she a fierce fighter but had impeccable swordplay as well.
It was an intense situation that Kazu really didn't like. As thoughts of what was going to happen fluuttered around his mind Kazu was returning Rin-sama's gaze before he knew it. It was then that all questions ceased, all yearnings forgotten, all hopes killed. He would do whatever it took to get the job done in order to protect his village. "Even if it means razing it to the ground" The last remnants of his thoughts slipped through his lips as the fire nature chakra began to leak into his left hand and igniting it. His fist clenched in despair and remorse for a moment accompanied with a flare in chakra before it died out and his fist relaxed. The sadness that saturated his eyes also echoed in his voice as he asked Rin-sama one last question. "So, when do we begin?"

An ease settled on her, knowing that she could rely on them. It was hard for her to trust them, because she didn't trust anyone really, but she was counting on them to play their part. Their plan had to go flawlessly, which meant sacrifices had to be made. She understood, some of the countrymen would die at their hands, that these men would not be allowed to see home until after the war. But that was the price they had to pay, they were the Bloody Mist village. They do not sow, the only coin they can offer their legacy is the blood which they pay the price for.
"Tomorrow. At dawn.
It will be known as the burning sunrise, try to minimize casualties as best you can, a number under twenty would be appreciated...
And understand, when I take the field, I will not hold back, you must be ready and act as a unit in-order to survive the fight against myself and the onslaught of the rest of our ninja assisting...
You are The Seven, your names are already feared, in much of the land...earn this tomorrow... Once the four targets I list have been burned down, you are free to evacuate yourself from the country, to infiltrate your way into the Daimyo's good graces."
She would say, looking to each of them, so it would sink in, this was not a childs game.
You either win or you die...
