Immense Chakra Reserves • Unranked As a Jinchūriki, Oda possesses a chakra reserve that can only be matched by other Jinchūriki & Bijū, and on the rare occasion certain shinobi. Therefore, Oda has developed a large amount of stamina and the ability to utilize multiple high level abilities back-to-back. When unleashed in high enough levels his chakra can create changes in the surrounding environment. Direct contact with his raw chakra can also be highly corrosive and poisonous to other life forms. Plated Scale Armor • Unranked Because of Chōmei's strong resemblance to an armored kabutomushi (カブトムシ, rhinoceros beetle), Oda's body is covered completely, layered with extremely resistant scales which can ignore most damage that would otherwise be detrimental, such as losing a limb; the outlines of each scale makes attacking him unarmed dangerous: even if the opponent was to be strong enough to break the scales, their limbs would be damaged from doing so, and the effort required to break the scales itself is an incredible feat. Due to extensive training while passive Oda's skin tone will not change, however, once fully released without restraint, Oda's skin will turn jagged and of blueish hue, some of which, lined up, are shown to be particularly large, protruding and sharp. → Lucky Seven Lives • Unranked "Lucky Seven Chōmei" (ラッキーセブン重明, Rakkī sebun Chōmei), received the nickname due to his ability to willingly escape damage that was otherwise hazardous; regenerating lost limbs amid the battlefield, thus providing him with near-perfect sustainability, even against the most detrimental of injuries. Over his years of extensive training with Chōmei, Oda has only used this ability once after his decision to flee from Takigakure, which saw him fighting those he once protected. Holding back his own power, he was dealt a life-threatening blow before fleeing the country altogether. He noted that using the technique, while favorable, caused a great deal of pain when used on his lost extremity, creating a 'phantom pain' for a time until it eventually subsided. Tailed Beast Telepathy • Unranked An innate skill possessed by all the tailed beasts, which allows them to communicate with one another mentally. Using this telepathy, the tailed beast can create a dimension within the subconscious of their minds referred to as the Mental World (精神世界, Seishin Sekai), where they can communicate without outside influences. There are two levels of this subconscious. The secondary level is not penetrable by others, even if the beasts are being controlled. Bijūdama • Unranked "Tailed Beast Ball" is the ultimate technique of a tailed beast. To form the attack, they gather both positive black chakra, and negative white chakra, shape it into a sphere, and then compress it inside their mouth. The black and white chakra needs to be balanced at an 8:2 ratio respectively or it will backfire. The ball can be fired differently, either in sphere form, which can be detonated for a wave explosion or launched to form a dome-shaped blast which flattens and erases everything around it, or as a concentrated beam of energy which gives it explosive penetrative power. When used in close proximity to other tailed beasts performing the technique, the Bijūdama can be combined, vastly increasing the attack's destructive power and size. Bijū Mōdo • Unranked "Tailed Beast Mode" is simply Oda and Chōmei combining their strength into their strongest form, the Nanabi. When in this state they can fight at their strongest and most natural. Bijū Mōdo is a devastatingly powerful form and poses an untold risk of collateral damage, capable of easily destroying an entire ninja village or changing landscapes. In this form, they gain a tactical advantage due to the Nanabi's ability to fly. → Partial Form • Unranked Rather than fully transform into his full beast form, Oda can isolate the transformation to parts of his body. These partial transformations fully resemble the parts of Chōmei's body such as an arm, tail, or head. Oda will mainly use this to sprout insect-like wings on his back which enable him to fly at normal speeds. Fūinjutsu: Reiko Hōrudo • Unranked"Sealing Technique: Ancient Hardening Hold" unlike a toxic or poisonous compound, Oda exhales a large quantity of liquid from his mouth. Upon coming in contact with the liquid, a persons body will continually be layered until becoming engulfed in a sticky, glue-like substance; once this happens, Oda may harden it, restricting their movement in a caccoon-like case, sealing them. It takes three seconds before they're completely sealed, providing an opportunity to escape. Gan Tetsu Heki • Hiden"Iron Rock Wall" is Oda's signature technique, in which he moves one of his hands with the index and middle fingers outstretched, creating large rock formations from the ground that form a wall, blocking incoming attacks. The defense created can take the shape of both Oda's stylistic cylindrical pillars, and that of larger rectangular slabs, thus reducing the number of earth required for a complete defense. Capable of manipulating such defensive barriers at his will, Oda is able to bend and twist the earth to better guard himself or his allies from enemy attacks; in addition, he can split them into their constitutive elements, which he can freely move in midair and employ for offensive purposes. → Rensa • Unranked "Continuous Formation" creates pillars from the ground that form multiple walls in a straight line, blocking incoming attacks of a greater magnitude. Haō Gan Sai • Hiden"Supreme King Rock Crush" is a rapid hand movement in his target's direction, with the palm open. This prompts many stones from the area in front of him to rapidly fly towards the opponent, encasing them in a rocky formation. Oda then joins his palms, and the rocky formation explodes in its basic components, causing high damage to the previously encased target. Daichidōkaku • Unranked"Grand Moving Earth Core" this technique grants the user the ability to lower or raise the ground in the surrounding area, allowing them to create giant holes or elevations in the ground on a large scale. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered or raised to is also up to the user. With precise timing, this technique can be used to evade incoming attacks, as well as to endanger opponents by moving them into the path of an oncoming attack reducing their reaction time as well as knocking them off balance, making it even harder to avoid the attack. Ganzan • A-Ranked
"Rock Mountain" is an extremely powerful defensive technique Oda performs by joining his palms together. The gesture prompts a large rock formation to emerge from the ground behind him in the shape of a human clad in an Eastern-looking armor, complete with a helmet and with stone protrusions jutting out, with a frowning look. This defensive formation takes the exact pose Oda uses to call it forth, with its massive arms making a protective roof over Oda while the base shields his backside. The strength of such a formation is shown to repel enemy attacks on a grand scale, with the clash between an offensive ability of similar caliber likely to send a massive gale over the surrounding area, uplifting trees and causing a permanent crater to the surroundings. Meidō Fugaku • A-Ranked
"Rumbling Mt. Fuji" is an extremely damaging offensive technique which strikes a large area near Oda after the latter joins his hands together before himself. As he does so, the area immediately in front of him is struck by an immense release of liquid hot magma surging from the core of the earth due to a shift in the earths tectonic plates, which wreaks havoc on anything it finds, rising up several meters in the air and shattering the earth it emerges from reducing it to small pieces. noteMount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, as well as an active volcano; something which makes Oda's spell somewhat resemble the phenomenon of an explosive eruption.
