Tsukanshou [Earth Shattering Palm]
Unranked
A fighting style once belonging to the Four Gates school of martial arts, which ceased to be after the First Shinobi War, though their techniques passed on. Utilizing Doton Chakra, practitioners in this discipline are able to freely manipulate the structural integrity of objects, empowering or dissolving the physical resistance on touch. Offensively, it can allow feats for the user to shatter stone, bend metal, and add massive impact to the physical body, even if they do not have the overwhelming physical strength to perform such on a natural basis. Even allow swift applications of Doton related Nintaijutsu to add punishing impact to strikes and manuevers.
In physical application Tsukanshou is a soft martial art, with a multitude of the legwork and routine based on receiving the momentum of the opponent to be used against them in the manner of parries, holds, riposte, and counter offensives. All the movements are seamless to hide the subtle and suddenly explosive power unleashed through built up momentum and "long fighting" through wide kicks and sweeps, making it a surprising and difficult to anticipate style, complimented even further by long steeping footwork and acrobatics to close the gap between opponents nearly immediately and beyond the veil of their guard.
