avoiding the debrief

[Oushi]

Oushi walked slowly and calmly through the administration building, there was an evident look of defeat across Oushi's face as he finally arrived in the receptionists area. He was hoping he wouldn't have to go to much into verbal detail about the investigation mission that had basicly turned up nothing, hopefully the paperwork would convey it properly. The only thing he had was a list of five different individuals that might have been involved in the killing of two guards in a nearby non shinobi village.

This had been Oushi's first solo mission in a while and it was obvious that he felt personally responsible for the failure. His signed report was accurate and held every detail from his investigation, all the people he had questioned, their statements, and the guard testimonies as well. It did not turn out any clear description of their being bandit interaction or attacks, it was as though someone killed the guards, walked around town, then just disappeared, almost like a shinobi.

He had followed the clues to the best of his ability but the mission still turned out a failure, Oushi just hoped that this wouldn't affect his future record towards other solo missions. He was hoping to keep an untarnished record and had also hoped to make jonin in the next year or two, but it was pretty evident he didn't have the know how of a jonin just yet.

He spoke briefly to the receptionist as he went to file his mission paperwork, he kind of hoped that Lady Subori might have been busy with other matters and that he would file the misson paperwork and that would be that. But luck may or may not have been on his side today as he walked down the hallway.
