Mizu no Teito Mizu Daimyo's Forces The three patrolling guards that Taigetsu has ambushed previously reported back in that their route was clear as per normal. After turning in their report, the three appeared to go their separate ways - mingling with the Daimyo's patrollers as if all were normal. In reality, the three forms remained within a certain proximity of one another so as to keep the Mizu Bunshin that formed two of them from breaking.
The three forms of Taigetsu would begin to gather information, listening and asking the occasional innocent question to learn what was to be learned. He hoped to find information regarding the capture of the Sanbi Jinchûriki, but would not turn down any other information he could find.
Taigetsu, do you think it wise to leave Sadamune behind? Saiken asked, bringing up Taigetsu's partner who was no longer part of the infiltration. He's my backup. Taigetsu responded, irritated. He'll jump in if I need him, but for now it's best if it's just me in the mix right now. Taigetsu put his bijû's fears to rest with that knowledge, and returned his attention to the task at hand.

As he mingled, he would hear rumors, misc-talking of the recent upset at Kante pass. The Daimyo's forces of mercenaries, thieves, and criminals had been wholly defeated, due to their lack of order at the naval battle. Another interesting rumor they would be speaking of was the Mizukage and how good she was in the sack. Mild mannered jesting of the crude and lowbrow. No one suspected, mainly because with all the weird manner of forces in the Daimyo's units, another face was nothing. Since Taigetsu was still maintaining his disguise, he would notice back near the camp, that one the other guards were trying to flag him down.
"Hey---Tatsuhigo---c'mere"
The guard would call to Taigetsu who was disguised as the guard they had taken out.

The version of Taigetsu that was called out to was one of his Mizu Bunshin, the clone deciding it had gathered enough information. Acting as though he hadn't heard the person calling to him, he ducked out of view and dissipated - the knowledge of the evasion returning to Taigetsu in a quick flash.
The Jinchûriki decided it may be too dangerous to keep moving about with stolen faces, and had his other clone step into a secluded spot to dissolve as well. He, in the meantime, adjusted his Henge when nobody could see him so that his face was hidden except for his eyes by a mask. After doing so, he found a good place to post up and wait for word that the Sanbi was heading this way.

The man came over looking for his friend, but didn't see anyone.
"Thats odd, could'a swore Tatsuhigo was here... "
He said, meanwhile Taigetsu took a post near the outskirts of this little convention of the Daimyo's forces. There was a fight amongst some of the men on the other side, it was broken up, as the crowd of men over there went silent. They would part as a man, wearing what looked like regal noble robes mixed with varying armor, and a steel right arm.
A steel right arm...
Something about this, would nudge at the edges of Taigetsu's mind, there was someone who had been important with much the same fashion sense and the same kind of appendage...

Taigetsu observed the man with the steel arm carefully, and in this case carefully meant doing what the rest of the people he was standing with were doing and staring right at him. He recognized the man's form but he could not place a name or title to it. Still, something inside him spoke of danger.
Saiken... Do not release any of your chakra until that man is gone. Taigetsu communicated to his bijû, Something about him feels off.. He received an affirmation from the Bijû, and continued to blend in with the people around him, having heard nothing yet of the Sanbi.

As if on cue, the man passed, and glanced over at Taigetsu, it was a momentary thing, but Taigetsu could almost see the faintest of grins as the steal armed man continued and disappeared into the throng. Something was off about him, bit that was soon to be in the past...
It would be a few hours, until a courier ninja made his way into camp. Mostly everyone else had gone to bed for the night, but the courier was headed to one of the command tents. It might be prudent to listen in on the missive.

Taigetsu tried his best to make his eyes reflect fear. He wasn't sure if he succeeded, but once the man left he was able to return to the uninterested look he'd had before. It had little to do with his current mission, so he didn't worry himself about it. Instead, he continued to blend and waited.
A few hours later, Taigetsu observed the courier ninja arriving. With his interest piqued, Taigetsu excused himself from the group he'd been standing with and slipped out of view. Once out of view, he formed a Mizu Bunshin who liquified himself using the Suika no Jutsu and housed himself in a water bottle.
Taigetsu then made his way towards the command tent the courier had gone into. Once close, he found an inconspicuous place to sit and sat the bottle out of view. Unseen, the liquified clone left the bottle and flowed across the ground and under the tent, finding it's way to a comfortably hidden spot to listen to the missive.

The men would talk as hushed as they could. When the courier ninja left, one of the men inside had the foolishness of beginning to read aloud the missive.
"Seems our "friend" has his prize and is bringing him to Suiro Shima by weeks end... Hope this scum knows what he is doing."
He said and a little bit of a chortle came from the other men in the room.

The Mizu Bunshin dissipated. By week's end... Taigetsu thought, shifting from his positon and moving back to a more secluded spot. Looks like I've got some time to kill, 'eh Saiken? He said, bringing his bijû into the conversation. So, the Hozuki Jinchûriki posted himself up somewhere secure to wait out the week. "I wonder if I can scare up a card game..." He murmured softly.

As Taigetsu would look around, there was indeed some men playing some kind of tile game, and on the far side it looked like some kind of card were being shuffled. Both groups looked rather, different then one would think of mercenaries, the ones with the cards had the banners of Suiro Shima indicating they were with the Daimyo's guard. The ones with the tiles, well their insignia was something different. A swirl, on their backs, much like those of the whirlpool country. Odd, considering that ninja village and most of its people were long gone.

"That's an interesting symbol."
Taigetsu, still disguised and his face hidden, approached the men with the swirl symbol on their backs. "Where'd you get those duds?" He asked, his hands resting in his pockets. He was no longer interested in the card game, now that he'd found something else to attract his attention.
After all, he did have as while to wait before the three tails arrived.
