Personality: Ino’o is an old school shinobi who believes that all genin should be turned to stone. As a result, he goes out of his way to train genin teams, and strongly believes that the other jounins are incompetent at the job. This has ostracized him from his peers, and he has few friends outside of his family. Despite this, he is still respected for his effectiveness at producing strong genin and, by extension, chuunin.
A strong believer in keeping his personal life separate from his professional, Ino’o never talks about anything he enjoys or any hobbies he has to those he works with. This keeps things impersonal, which he prefers. In his beliefs, in order to be hard like stone, one must be willing to roll away from the mountain when it threatens to crumble.
Ino’o is very loyal to his village and nation, and would do anything to ensure its prosperity. His moral compass is directed by this, and he will kill, steal, and do whatever else is ordered of him as long as it makes Tsuchi no Kuni a stronger land. He makes sure to instill this same sense of duty into any genin he trains.
