Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin ShūAn organization formed during the end of the Shodai Mizukage's reign, composed of the seven greatest swordsmen, blade-wielding shinobi of Kirigakure. The Shinobigatana are under the direct control of the Mizukage himself and they appear to be loyalist to Kirigakure. Each of the Shinobigatana are considered to be highly skilled, elite shinobi who each wield their very own, special bladed-weapon with its own unique abilities. Just like the name suggest, there will be seven of these swordsman and thus, seven different swords which will be considered custom-canon artifacts. To obtain a Shinobigatana you must apply which you can do so by filling out the following template and posting it: Name: Rank: Brief History: Sword Name and Abilities: [b]Name[/b]:

NOTE: You can also gain one ICly by either obtaining one of the seven swords or by displaying masterful skill in using a bladed-weapon. Note2: Neji/The Mad Hatter here folks. Your Mizukage will be judging everything other than the sword; that part falls to me.

Name: Minamoto KagetakeRank: Jonin Brief History: Kagetake was born to a pair of civilian restaurant owners living just outside of Kiri, helping them run the shop for the first thirteen years of his life while secretly harboring dreams of becoming a shinobi. Kagetake fantasized about being a powerful hero, holding an idealistic, fairy-tale vision of what the life of a shinobi was like.
One fateful evening, a Ronin attempted to rob the restaurant. Kagetake attempted to fight him off with a cooking knife and put up a fight for about three seconds before getting his ass thoroughly stomped. However, one of the other patrons in the restaurant at the time happened to be a member of the Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin Shuu whose apprentice had just fallen in battle. On a half-drunk whim, the swordsman killed the Ronin and took Kagetake in as his new apprentice. The parents were in favor of this; better that their child become a shinobi then remain a worker at the restaurant, and they could run the place on their own (they didn't have much say in the matter anyways).
Kagetake's new master, as it turned out, was a cruel, sadistic bastard who tortured Kagetake half to death several times throughout the training and almost killed him with exhaustion on a weekly basis. To compound Kagetake's problems, his childhood mental image of life as a shinobi was very different from the reality in terms of blood, gore, and hardship. Kagetake gradually became a sadistic, violent psychopath, much more depraved and cruel than his master. However, while viciously cruel, Kagetake's master was also an extremely efficient teacher, and Kagetake was a very quick learner. After learning everything he possibly could from his master, Kagetake, now in his late 20's, killed him in a manner that makes the torture sequence from "Law Abiding Citizen" look chaste and friendly.
The Second Great War erupted soon after. Kagetake proved himself to be much more skillful, creative, and intimidating than his master, sometimes taking on entire squads of enemy shinobi on his own and emerging victorious every time. He was famous for leaving behind brutally maimed, dessicated corpses wherever he went, earning the nickname "The Mummifier of the Mist".
After the war's end, Kagetake, now 31 years old, continued to serve the Mist faithfully. As long as they keep giving him things to kill, he's perfectly happy working for them.
[/size] Sword Name and Abilities: Shimerikentanka "Moisture Glutton"Shimerikentanka is a Nodachi. The hilt is wrapped in dark blue cord, rounded off with an obsidian pommel cap. The sheath, also dark blue, is made from oak wood, with the Kirigakure symbol etched on either side of the tip. The rectangular tsuba is made from obsidian and etched with a design of a sea serpent wrapping around the blade. Shimerikentanka's ability is to constantly sap a miniscule amount of chakra from its wielder to gather ambient moisture to them, hydrating them and reducing the amount of chakra needed to generate moisture for Suiton jutsu. By channeling more chakra through the sword, the wielder can pull more and more moisture from the environment for use in their Suiton jutsu. If they're cut, even organisms can have moisture drained from them (but it has to be a substantial, bleeding wound (or in the case of a plant, a deep incision), not a shallow, light cut). When not in use, the gathered moisture is suspended in the air around the sword and wielder. The air in the area around the user will often feel very dry, while their immediate proximity feels wet and humid. The sword's abilities stem from its metal, which was specially forged to both have these reactive properties and be abnormally strong and sharp. The sword is somewhat more difficult to break than a normal sword and can cut through oak trees, stone, and even some weaker metals with ease. Channeling chakra through the sword increases its cutting power, allowing the wielder to slice through kunai, shuriken, and most common metal weapons without much difficulty.

[NAME]: Kaibutsu Kujiramaru[RANK]: Jonin [BIO]: Many beasts arise from Kirigakure's watery depths. Some only rise just to be eaten by stronger beasts, while others kill the weak to become the fiercest beasts around. Kujiramaru was neither.
Born under a little-known clan in Mizu no Kuni, the boy shared his parent's shark-like appearance, though his girth and size were enough to kill his mother during birth. This led to an amount of resentment between Kujiramaru and his father, who raised him much like one would a dog; he only provided the boy food, water, bathroom, and a bed. He lived this way all the way through the Academy. He grew to be a patient, quiet child, and remains such to this day.
By the time he graduated to Genin, the 11 year old was 6'11'', and weighed well over 250lbs. His sensei taught he and his team mates how to use Kenjutsu, as each possessed incredible potential. They trained this way until Kujiramaru was 17, where he took part in the Chuunin Exams. He muscled his way to the very end, winning first place in the 3rd Exam. He was only Chuunin for two days before the Mizukage decided to make him a Jonin
Now a full fledge elite ninja, the boy began to take missions on his own. One such mission led him beneath a hidden lake, in which he fought off a variety of giant sea life. Unfortunately, he was eaten by a giant eel, though this accident turned into great fortune. Wedged between the eel's teeth were a pair of rusted, bent blades. Seeing potential in the broken weapons, he took his prizes and carved open an escape in the beast's belly. Back at his village, he spent eight sleepless nights cleaning, crafting, and reforging his new blades. He forged them together to make a single new weapon, dubbing it "Enkaihouko", or "Ocean's Treasure".
He's stayed with Kirigakure to this day. Now 45 years old, 9'2'' and 422lbs, he's become an infamous shinobi of the Mist, known for his immense strength and deadly jutsu [not to mention his powerful weapon]. [SWORD]: [Enkaihouko] [Ocean's Treasure]-A special set of blades taken apart and made into a single weapon. It resembles that of a thin 5ft broadsword [4ft long, 6in wide blade + 1ft handle] made of reinforced steel, though every 6 inches the blade is segmented. This is because a white retractable cable device has been set within the center of the blade. When swung with enough fines, the blade is able to extend the cable to add 9 inches of between each segment, thereby increasing the blade's length by a good 7ft. The cable [made of woven threads of metal] is also segmented with white razor-sharp spines [much like shark teeth], keeping the blades' piercing ability. With another swing, the blade retracts back to its original form. -When in its original form, the sword is sturdy enough to withstand many blows, and strong enough to pierce most metals. When in its elongated cable form, it can wrap around his opponent, slicing many important muscles to incapacitate them instantly. What makes this weapon even more special is its ability to be manipulated via chakra. By manipulating the chakra channeled into the wire, he can cause the weapon to turn irregularly, sometimes contradictory to his own movements. He can use this to wrap around his opponent's weapons, yanking them out of their grip. The strength of the manipulated cable rivals that of his own. -The blade's design is to be like that of a whale's bone: sleek white blade segments with no hilt, the tip like that of a shark's tooth. The handle is wrapped in white bandages as well. Kujiramaru, throughout the years of mastering this weapon, has proved himself to be a formidable member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.

Name: Furukawa Tenyuushinjyo
Rank: Jounin
Brief History A lot of people complain that their lives are hard. In Kirigakure, that is the norm for people, so those with nice lives are often looked down upon. Nice childhood? Lame. Nice career? Lame. And so, for all intents and purposes, Tenyuushinjyo, better known as Ten’Yuu, can be considered amazingly lame by the younger generation of Kiri.
He was born into a well known clan inside Kirigakure. Not really a shinobi clan, they use what abilities they have to make nice sculptures of things…and the occasional assassination when needed. Ten’Yuu was the son of the clan leader—a master artisan and a skilled Chuunin. Instead of teaching Ten’Yuu how to kill, however, he was taught how to make art. Ten’Yuu developed amazing pieces of art and was known as a genius amongst his clan when it came to such—however things like battle and assassination were out of the picture.
Eventually the day came and his father would die, leaving his will behind. The father desired Ten’Yuu to join the academy and, in order to comply with his wishes, he did. However it was a forced event—he did not want to learn how to kill people and he did not want to learn how to do heavy battle. As a result, Ten’Yuu’s grades were piss poor and he didn’t graduate the academy until he was fourteen. Figuring the Genin was useless, his master gave him a blade and showed him the basics. Unable to do his art fully because of missions, the kid made this his new hobby.
Years would pass and he would eventually become a Chuunin. By the age of seventeen he was addicted to alcohol, falling into depression after his mom finally passed away due to sickness. As a result he requested to be a Senin, or a Wandering Ninja, allowing him to be called back in times of need but otherwise he was allowed to be as drunk and hormonal as needed. Supervised, naturally, Ten’Yuu traveled Mizu no Kuni, slept in many brothels, but he never stopped training with his sword. It had become second nature to him—to train with his sword as much as he drunk and made the random piece of art.
Ten’Yuu’s skill was found and realized by another Seven Swordsmen, whom then challenged the Senin to a dual. If Ten’Yuu lost he would be forced to come back and train. Half drunk at the time, Ten’Yuu accepted, lost and was brought back into service—much to his dislike and much to his families want. With his skills sharpened, it became evident that Ten’Yuu was indeed a natural talent with the sword, and so when the master died in the Second Shinobi World War, Ten’Yuu was given his sword and made a member.
Sword Name and Abilities:
Saiun ~ The Glowing Clouds
[/i][/url] Saiun takes the form of a rather extravagant katana. The hilt is tightly bound in dark blue silk and is pummeled in beautiful sapphire. Falling from the pommel are tuffs of blue fur, about five or so inches in length. Saiun’s guard is circular in nature with two small juts coming off of the sides, with a highly detailed connecter to hold the blade in place. Engraved into the blade, at the very base, are two kanji saying “Man” and “Humanity”. The scabbard is equally beautiful, being created out of blue wood, wrapped with a loose black cord and details in flowers. Saiun’s main abilities come from an invisible seal on the edge of the blade. The guard and blade, once the seal is activated, rapidly absorbs heat whenever the blade moves. This heat is infinitely stored and the seal was not made to release it in large amounts—in fact, the seal can only release enough heat to resharpen the edge of the sword. That being said, this blades power comes from the reaction that occurs upon cutting through a target. Should it pass through flesh, the blade will rapidly absorb the heat of the flesh, covering whatever it hit in a layer of frost and giving the target intense frostbite. This frostbite can be lessened, of course, if only the tip of the sword cuts you, but a full on slash almost always causes extreme frostbite. When Saiun’s edge passes through something that isn’t alive, say tree, it will simply freeze the part of the tree, more precisely the fluids in that part, that was cut.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/font][/justify] NOTE: He can not use Hyouton. This is not Hyouton. The frost is created when water is frozen. Water freezes when this much heat is removed. Also, when I say sharpen, it softens the edge so you better sharpen it.

Name: Setsuna Tatsuo
Rank: Jōnin
Brief History: A byproduct of the experimental Toy Soldier Project, an operation to train young children to be ruthless killers designed for Kirigakure's use. As a result of his unique training he easily advanced to the rank of Genin and was promoted to Chūnin after his first run through. During this time he managed to learn his clan's nintaijutsu as well as being inducted into the Oinin by the Nidaime.
During a mission his eyes were severely damaged, but through his own ingenuity and desire to serve his village he developed a method to compensate for his loss of vision by focusing on his other senses. With his new talents he grew to be an even more fearsome assassin, which he demonstrated time and time again during the war.
Sword Name and Abilities:
So'unga 『 Unique 』 The "Cloud Jungle's Fang" is a nodaichi that belonged to Tatsuo's grandfather, Setsuna Masanori, and was designed specifically to be utilized with his nintaijutsu. Enmeshed into the sword is a chakra circulatory system that is capable of syncing with its wielder, essentially allowing the wielder to become one with the sword. Because of this synchronization of body and sword, Tatsuo is capable of channeling his chakra through the sword effortlessly.
It should be noted that because the So'unga is not a living being it is incapable of producing chakra.

After review by both Neku/Mizukage-sama and myself, Tatsuo is the first of the Shinobigatana to be accepted. We're waiting on another applicant or two so that we can make sure we've reviewed all the possibilities.
In the meantime though? I'll take this time to go over the other swords.
Shimerikentanka: This sword is approved. Keep in mind that you cannot gather any liquid that is encased in a solid.
Enkaihouko: This sword is denied. Organic weapons are not allowed on Konaha v2; neither are sentient ones, before you think of that possibility as an edit.
Saiun: This sword is approved. Keep in mind that if it cuts a solid object, the solid will not suddenly become covered in ice, it will just grow colder and, if possible, more brittle.

The new sword itself is approved, but you have to wait on Neku/Mizukage-sama to see if the character himself is approved, so don't go making the character just yet.

*shrug* nothing stopping me from registering my own. I'll just ask Hinata to look over the sword for me since I can't review my own. Name: Kaguya BenihimeRank: Jounin Brief History: A maverick among the other Kaguya from the very beginning, she chose not to fight unless it was absolutely necessary, but when Benihime finally does choose to enter into combat the usual result is that no survivors live. She was raised and trained in a different manner from the rest of the clan, taught that she was learning to fight in the hopes that she would create a world in which such actions were no longer necessary, trained not to rely on her bloodline as much as the other Kaguya did. Her use of the Kaguya Kekkei Genkai remained relegated to defensive purposes, and at the same time Benihime researched other potential applications of her ability. The Second War caught many by surprise, but among the Kaguya she was one of the few to keep a level head and not immediately rush off to sate bloodlust. In spite of this, she commanded one of Kirigakure's strongest offensive squadrons, and her performance in combat earned her the nickname Crimson Queen of the Mist. Her lack of reliance on her bloodline has made her more than a bit of a pariah among the Kaguya, but she holds her head high with pride for her village. Sword Name and Abilities: Kanryuu (Return Current)Kanryuu is a pair of swords with a rather unique design such that the entire length of the weapons can be used for combat. From edge to edge the weapons are three and a half feet in length, weigh roughly twenty five pounds each and are excellently balanced. The unique ability of these blades is their power to repel chakra and chakra-based attacks of all forms and return them to their points of origin. When chakra comes into contact with these blades, it is repelled with both the force of the chakra itself and the force of the blade's motion. The repelled chakra is then sent back towards its point of origin, causing great harm to its original user if not defended against. Even Bijuu chakra can be turned against its host through this method. The downside to this is that the twin swords of Kanryuu cannot have their offensive power enhanced through elementally reconfigured chakra, and the wielder cannot use normal ninjutsu or genjutsu (i.e. Kirigakure no Jutsu; Narakumi no Jutsu) while holding even only one of these twin blades, lest they suffer the backlash of Kanryuu's return to sender themselves, and to a magnified effect. Should somebody other than Kanryuu's current wielder attempt to use either of the twin blades, a sealing matrix inscribed in the leather of the handle acts as a security measure. The seals release large amounts of electricity into the potential thief's hands, electrocuting them and causing them to potentially lose some of their hands' dexterity if they attempt to hold on for too long. In order to transfer ownership of Kanryuu to a new wielder, the new user must soak the blades of Kanryuu in his or her blood for 24 hours, followed by replacing the leather on the handle with leather dyed with their own blood and inscribed with the same anti-theft seals.

[white]Name: Yukihiro Zanshin.
Rank: Jounin.
Brief History: Named after the alias of the first Yukihiro clan member and the original creator of the Kokuujin and it’s special ability, Izayoi, Zanshin was a very respectful and proud member of the Yukihiro clan. The Yukihiro clan of Kirigakure were more of the ‘peaceful’ types, priding themselves on their appearance and the way the clan productively assisted Kirigakure. Ever since the death of Tsubaki, the former Yukihiro head ten years ago, not a single ninja or kunoichi of the clan were allowed to go out to fight. That is why in ten years until now, the Yukihiro had been a clan priding themselves on appearance. Zanshin was fascinated with the world of ninja however, always training himself with a kendo sword, despite being harshly beaten for it due to his rather demanding father.
Deciding to enroll in the ninja academy when he was old enough, Zanshin always appeared to be the quiet type, deciding to test out numerous techniques upon training dummies and not really enjoying confrontation. Being picked on wouldn’t be a nice enough word; Zanshin was ridiculed. Slowly, Zanshin’s view of right and wrong began to deteriorate, causing him to wonder whether or not his colleagues were worth protecting. Graduating out of the academy and going onto a team, Zanshin was never seen as the outgoing guy, instead deciding to work as hard as he could. His willingness to work with his teammates caused many a fight, until his master (being the only one he listened to) told him that he would remove him from the team if he could not learn such a basic thing.
Passing through the Chunin exams and eventually becoming a Jounin, Zanshin seemed to slowly begin opening up to the world, being paired with an older man who would become his master for years to come. It seemed that now was the time that Zanshin had been handed down the Kokuujin, though he was told never to use it’s true power and simply stick to the basic elemental jutsu he could channel through it. Zanshin however, would end up using the true abilities of the weapon when training with his master, blinding him to the point where he could get a fatal strike in. Obviously Zanshin did not go through with it, as his master reprimanded him for doing such a careless thing. Before Zanshin was promoted to Jounin, his family gave him one last gift; a special armor, that had been worn by the first Yukihiro and what gave him the moniker ‘Zanshin’, making him look like some kind of God.
After a few years of being a Jounin, Zanshin would be thrust into the Second Great Ninja War, and it was there that Zanshin’s mind had been crippled forever. Killing numerous of his enemies, Zanshin had made use of the sword’s abilities even more, and after the last enemy had been vanquished, Zanshin could feel his vision fading. While his vision is still strong to this day, Zanshin has moments where he will see things a lot brighter, more or less taking on a white color, almost as if the effects the blade gave were taunting him. What specifically crippled his mind during the Second Great Ninja War was that when he cut down one of his enemies, he saw a photo the man had kept of his wife and daughter. This made Zanshin continually wonder what he was truly fighting for, and to this day he continues to try and find a proper cause. He joined the Shinobigatana after swearing allegiance to the Mizukage, though does not seem willing to answer to anyone but the Mizukage, obviously showing he does not get along well with others, nor his fellow Shinobigatana.
Sword Name and Abilities: Zanshin’s sword, Kokuujin (Empty Sky/Empty Void), is a blade that is made out of chakra-reactive metal, allowing Zanshin the ability to flow chakra in elemental form through it, one at a time. The weapon is also 7’0” in length, stretching out 210 centimeters. With special seals located on the weapon, Zanshin is able to tap into the sword’s true power, releasing a bright light that covers the entire sword. When stabbed into the opponent, the sword releases the light, causing the victim to see nothing but white, effectively blinding them. This ability works much like a Genjutsu, codenamed ’Izayoi’, and it’s primary function is fooling the brain into thinking that it is only able to see white. Due to this fact, if an opponent were to snap themselves out of it much like a Genjutsu, the ability would dispel. As well, due to the technique, no Yukihiro had picked up the blade prior to Zanshin, due to the fact that it slowly ‘steals the light’ from the users’ eyes to be able to power the technique, thus making the user closer to going blind the more they use it.[/white]

Name: Kenjō Isū
Rank: Jōnin
Brief History: Isū is a shinobi who from his youth was made to put the village before himself, and this ideal, instilled by his parents, holds true with him even to this day. He has gained notability for his intense dedication to his village which pushes him to push himself to become better and immense skill; his skill was so immense, in fact that he was made the student of one of the former Swordsmen.
When Kiri entered the war, he served beside his master who was on the front lines. He played a notable part in the battle at Uzushiogakure and assumed his place amongst the swordsmen following his master's honorable death there. Now, he is the sole survivor of his master's school of Kenjutsu as well as Kirigakure's Kinjutsu.
Sword Name and Abilities: Sebire, or Dorsal Fin is a unique blade especially catered to work in conjunction with Kirigakure's Kinjutsu. The blade works by changing it's form into water given shape by the user's chakra. As such, the user can absorb more water into the blade to make the blade larger or use their chakra to shape the water into different complex shapes making the blade especially suitable for Suiton users. When chakra leaves the blade, the water blade will deform and can be reformed by the addition of chakra to the sword.

- Bottom of class so graduated to genin (no rush graduation) at twelve
- Learned Suiton at 13
- Rush graduated to chunin and fought in the war at 14
- Mastered the sword at 15
- Became ruthless and cold killer
- 100+ kills solely in the year he mastered the sword
- Returned after the war at the age of 17
- Couldn't handle a peaceful life
- Secretly became a hitman doing dirty jobs to make money aside from assassination missions
- Became a Jonin at the age of 21
- By the time he became a Jonin he had killed 1,500+ people
- Joined Shinobigatana
Sword Name and AbilitiesSenkin [Great Weight]: After mastering Senkin, Senkin can increase the weight of anything it strikes. After striking an object with Senkin, the object's weight is increased tens-fold of what it was prior to the strike. Someone who has not mastered Senkin and tries to use it would have a difficult time being as Senkin is very heavy. But to someone who has mastered the sword, it feels light in weight as if it were just a kunai. As a self-defense mechanism, if someone tries to touch the sword (who is not the owner) it instantly releases water in the form of the Water Prism Jutsu around the person who touched it, until commanded other wise by the owner.

Kinzoku, that sword might as well be a carbon copy of Kenjo Isu's. You'll have to think up a different sword.
While I'm at it, how could you have been orphaned at age 7 in the 2nd war and be older than 12?
Jace, think up a new sword concept and change your character's name from Nero to something else. That is a complete rip of the Nero from DMC4, name, abilities and all. The arm wouldn't go through equipment anyways.

Name: Kyōya, Nanaya. Rank: Jounin. Brief History: Kyōya was born into a life of poverty, the Nanaya family being one of the poorest families in Kirigakure no Satou. Generally, from day to day, Kyōya was found having to get whatever scraps of food he could, and always giving them to his parents, only ever eating the leftovers that may have fallen to the floor. Kyōya didn’t mind, it was a good life to him as long as he had his parents. Even with only the bit of money they had, they seemed to get by. However, the fact that they did not have a lot of money dwelled over them, and Kyōya felt horrible about it. Deciding to do something about it, when Kyōya was five years old, he went into the Academy and slowly began to learn how to be a Genin, with his parents supporting him all the way albeit being worried of his safety. When Kyōya graduated the academy, it seemed that he wasn’t able to get along with the other Genin, not having gotten along with the other students very well in the first place. After all, Kyōya was poor, so why should they have had to associate with a lesser being? As Kyōya was placed onto a team of a snooty kunoichi, a holier-than-thou ninja and an even more stern sensei, he felt very out of place. However, he still tried his hardest. As Kyōya hit the rank of Chuunin, aged fifteen, he found out terrible news; his father had died, thugs having come to his house and killed him when he tried to protect his mother. They also appeared to inject the mother with a special serum, which would kill her in a week by destroying her chakra circulatory system, had they not paid the thugs the amount of money. Trying to go on as many missions as he could, Kyōya tried to raise the money… …But failed, as Kyōya’s mother died a slow and painful death the day that it was decided Kyōya was promoted to Jounin, while at the same time being sent off to war with another team of Jounin. Emotionally broken to pieces, Kyōya went into the war with two blades that he had crafted himself, though they couldn’t really be called that. They were makeshift, long pieces of chakra-reactive metal attached to black cylinder shaped leather pieces, looking more like a pointed golf-club if anything else. A curved piece next to the hilt was made of two chains, allowing Kyōya to swing the weapon around and detach one end of the chain to swing it around. Donning a new, black attire, Kyōya was deadly upon the battlefield, utilizing two specializations he had found; he had learned during his Chuunin years that one could flow chakra through a weapon, and the second object he used with perfect prowess was the Kirigakure no Jutsu. Kyōya taught himself to flow the Suiton element for water based attacks and Fuuton element for enhanced slicing power, though only one could be used at a time. With Kyōya’s advanced chakra manipulation, however, he was able to put one element into each of the blades, and seemed to find a perfect prowess with his weapons. Advancing in skill, Kyōya came out of the war a deadly warrior, having slaughtered a total of 1,000+ opponents on the battlefield. The end result of the war meant nothing to Kyōya, due to the fact that he had already lost everything precious to him. An injury Kyōya earned during the war caused him to wear an eye patch, which didn’t seem to decrease his skills any. Whilst training with his weapons and overall Suiton, Fuuton, and Kirigakure jutsu (having his Ninjutsu and Taijutsu skills perfectly balanced, but sacrificing Genjutsu prowess to do so), Kyōya had been approached and asked to join the Shinobigatana of Kirigakure, a group of skilled swordsmen directly under the control of the Mizukage. Feeling like nothing more than a puppet, which was the empty Kyōya’s new personality, he accepted and decided to find a new reason to continue living his life. With reason behind him, Kyōya is now that much more deadly, deciding to use the blades crafted by his own hand to fight alongside his Shinobigatana brethren, and to follow the Mizukage’s orders. Kyōya seems to act like a ‘new sheep’ in the Shinobigatana, rarely disobeying an order and staying out of the others’ way. Personally, to Kyōya, he feels everyone else is a higher-up and he a ‘newbie’ / ‘rookie’ / ‘new recruit’, one of the only traits he held that carried over from his life of poverty. As of now, Kyōya views himself as nothing more than a concentrating, trained killer directly under the control of the Mizukage and other Shinobigatana members. Kyōya is nothing more than a tool for the Shinobigatana (and the Mizukage) to use for their own devices. (Apologies, this is as brief as I could be and some grammar suffered for it, lol.) Sword Name and Abilities: The pair of custom 'blades' Kyōya wields are two long pieces of steel, each roughly ten inches long, with the held area (the 'hilt') made of leather and wrapped around the end of the piece of steel, much like a gold club. The points are sharpened at the end much like the end of a nail or screwdriver, and a chain that curves at the end of where the blade stops makes it look like a rapier. The chains have the ability to detach from one hand, allowing Kyōya to swing them around with little difficult, and the blades' special ability is that they are made of chakra-reactive metal, and that Kyōya is able to flow Suiton through one and Fuuton through the other, or flow the same element through both. Obviously, this is no average feat, making Kyōya one of the most deadly elemental users with a sword, and this prowess in Elemental chakra manipulation, along with the prowess he has in using his two blades are what brought him into the Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin Shū, and assist him in being the cold, emotionless killer of a Jounin that he is.
